THE RESTLESS CHURCH

What does ‘going to church’ and what is ‘assembling yourselves together’ really mean?

Please watch this video “The Restless Church Introduction” and comment. What do you think?

What if I told you that YOU are the Church, and everything that Jesus tells us about following Him and being His Body is really describing His Church – The Church?

What if I told you that ‘going to church’ is never required by anyone in the Bible?

And, what if I told you that assembling yourselves together as Christians, does not necessarily mean going to a building to listen to a few songs, saying a few prayers, hearing a sermon or a religious lecture that only gives talking points but rarely moves people to act as Jesus commanded and taught?

What if I told you there is a difference between what church has been redefined as and what the Bible says Church is all about?

There is a vast difference. It is the difference between really living and just existing.

It is the difference between living with purpose and just living.

It is the difference between life and death.

What if I told you there is such a Church that will make a difference in your life? A Church that is a model of what Jesus intended and what the Bible describes. A place where you can really begin to live, with purpose and on purpose! A place that will lead to life!

And what if I told you that you can BE that church, and

  1. You will get closer to God.
  2. You will get your children a moral foundation.
  3. You will become a better person.
  4. You will find comfort in times of trouble or sorrow.
  5. You will find ‘sermons’ valuable, useful and appliable. .
  6. You will be an important part of a faith community.
  7. You will find your necessary obligation to be the Church.
  8. You will meet new people on the same journey.
  9. You will come to a place where the pastor and others will know your name!

Tell me what you think…

Your Brother and Friend,

Mike Young
