A Biblical comparison and correlation of The Seals of the Tribulation

taken from Matthew and equated to Revelation.

We must know the sequence of events so we may be ready at all times.

*This is important as Daniel 12:10 tells us that in the last days, “Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.”

You and I must be ready to give an account.

And again in Acts 2:17

‘AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ God says,
‘THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND;
AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY,
AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS,
AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS;

Verse 18. “EVEN ON MY BOND SLAVES, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN,
I WILL IN THOSE DAYS POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT
And they shall prophesy.

Verse 19. ‘AND I WILL GRANT WONDERS IN THE SKY ABOVE
AND SIGNS ON THE EARTH BELOW,
BLOOD, AND FIRE, AND VAPOR OF SMOKE.

Verse 20. ‘THE SUN WILL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS
AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD,
BEFORE THE GREAT AND GLORIOUS DAY OF THE LORD SHALL COME.

Verse 21. ‘AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.’

You and I must be ready to give an account.

An Interlude (the last of the prophecies yet to come)

saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” Verse 11. And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

Verse 15. “For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. Verse 16. “They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; 17for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

Seal 7: also in Matthew 24:31 — the Trumpets

Verse 4. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand. Verse 5. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.(the last of the prophecies yet to come)

THE MODEL – The Ingathering

Acts 2:37, “Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do?”

  • Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Verse 39. “For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” Verse 40. And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!”
    • So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.
  • They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer Verse 43. Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.
  • And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; verse 45, and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.
  • Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,
  • praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.
