The Bible says

bible+scroll.JPG

Gensis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This was written about 3,500 years ago, probably by Moses.

This was written about 2,000 years ago by St. John the Apostle: John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

There are about 1,500 years between the writing of these two Scripture verses.

Then, these final words were written about 1,924 years ago by St. John the Apostle: Revelation 22:18 “I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book. 20He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. 21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.”

The Bible is said to have 40 authors who recorded the Words of God into what we call The Bible, over a period of about 5,500 years. People, under the inspiration of God, The Holy Spirit, wrote what they were inspired by God to write.

The continuity of this Book over such at long period of time and at a huge cost in lives should raise more than a few eyebrows.

The Bible has inspired millions to give all they had, including their lives, to bring the Truth of God’s Word, the Bible, to us in 2020.

In the first few centuries, Christianity grew quickly. By AD 325, an estimated 7 million people were Christians with as many as 2 million killed for the faith

According to a Christian think-tank. The Center for the Study of Global Christianity (CSGC) says 900,000 Christians have been ‘martyred’ in the last decade, equating to 90,000 a year and one every six minutes.

Any rational person would have to ask, “WHY? Why would so many give so much to this God, this thing in the Bible called the Gospel of Jesus Christ? What was in it for them?”

But the better question would be “What could it possibly do for me?”

The result as counted in restored and strengthened lives and hope for the future has been, and continues to be, incalculable.

The Bible has proven, over thousands of years and by the transformation of millions of lives, to be a portal, a Spiritual vortex, into the Mind and Spirit of God, into His Kingdom, by His Grace and through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

John1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Imagine. You. A child of God. A son or daughter of the One True Living God. Can you imagine that?

So, have you read it? The Bible, that is. Do you read the Bible?

For insight, wisdom, balance, strength, courage and a sound mind, know that The Bible, The Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

BEWARE

It is subtle, but now in these Last Days, men and women in the pulpit are rewriting the Bible and preaching a distorted message to suit their contemporary worldview – man’s worldview.

They make tangled arguments, they use minutia and disregard the plain face value of the Bible. Much like when Jesus castigated the scribes and Pharisees saying, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law” Matthew 23:23

For example:

“Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.” Matthew 23:9

Yet, go into the Catholic, Anglican or Lutheran church and listen to what they call their priests. This is an affront to the our only Father in the faith, which is God.

“The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says.” 1 Corinthians 14:34

Women now, stand in authority in the pulpit, over men and this is not only wrong, it negates the power of the Gospel and it is apostasy (a falling away from the faith).

“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals” 1 Corinthians 6:9

Many churches are embracing this abomination. And, it is an abomination.

The foregoing are valued matters of Authority and Righteousness, and when they are neglected they “hold to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power”. The Bible tells us to “avoid such men as these.” 2 Timothy 3:5

This is the spirit of the antichrist,of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world (1 John 4:3) and is now in the Church.

Believe the Bible. KNOW the Bible. DO the Bible. Become a Child of The Living God.

Do it now because The Time is at Hand. We must be able to accurately handle the Word of Truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
in order to resist the evil one.
