The “Undergound” Church
PROVOKE – (pro·voke prəˈvōk/ A verb; to stimulate or give rise to a reaction or emotion, typically a strong one in someone. Stimulate or incite (someone) to do or feel something, especially by arousing a strong emotion in them, deliberately.

So, what is The Underground Church and why would we use such a name?
We believe that the 21st century postmodern church is in danger of becoming little more than a religious institution, pleasing everyone except The One Who created the Church to be His Spotless Bride.
We see the 501-C(3) institutional church becoming increasingly ineffective, impotent and irrelevant to the world it was meant to influence for God.
We believe, however, that the True Church of Jesus Christ is on the move. We believe God is gathering His Remnant (Romans 9:27) and fulfilling His prophecy in this day.
The term Underground Church is a deliberate and a provocative term used to draw attention to God’s Church in these last days and our call to serve Him and His Church.
The True Church of God is experiencing increased persecution and is, indeed, once again being driven underground by governments worldwide, in cooperation with secular and religious humanists, false religions and hostile satanic forces. But it is what the Bible warns about.
The Bible gives us a remedy and a plan. It may soon be time to return to the model of the early Christian church and to shake off the bondage of the harlot postmodern church.
And it is an interesting paradox that as the Church moves underground, IT BECOMES MORE VISIBLE.
Increasingly, people are feeling isolated and alone. Uncertain of their future and unsure of what to do.
We, The “Underground” Church, are coming together to care for one another.
We are building and stocking the storehouse in preparation of the coming troubles, putting aside finances and resources and joining together in a network of believers. Most importantly,
We are spreading the Good News of Jesus’ Christ and His return.
Acts 2:42 tells us – “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.”
1. Devote ourselves to the Apostle’s teaching
2. Breaking of bread, together
3. Prayer
4. Those who believe have all things in common.
5. Sharing when any of our friends might have need.
