WHY I LOVE AMERICA

I pledge allegiance…

I love my America.

I love the visible beauty of America. As the songs says,

“Oh, beautiful for spacious skies,

For amber waves of grain,

For purple mountain majesties

Above the fruited plain!

America! America!

God shed his grace on thee,

And crown thy good with brotherhood

From sea to shining sea.”

I love the freedoms I have in America.

I love The Constitution of the our beloved United States which promises me that we will believe, together, that “all men are created equal; endowed by their creator with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”

The Constitution is important because it protects my individual freedom, and its fundamental principles govern the United States for my benefit. The Constitution places the government’s power in my hands, a citizen of this country and Nation. It limits the power of the government and establishes a system of checks and balances so I can remain free and have a voice in my future.

I love our Bill of Rights. It is for the protection of my natural rights of liberty and property. My Bill of Rights is important as it defines and symbolizes the freedom and culture of my United States of America.

I love that I can believe as I want and worship as I want and that I can freely afford others that same right and privilege, without fear.

I love that I can freely express myself, my views and my beliefs without fear of violent recrimination.

I love that I can live, in peace, among those with whom I disagree.

I love the wide variety of cultures and customs I can experience in America. But, most of all, I love that these cultures and customs are knitted together by the Common Bond of being an American.

But, alas, what I love most about America is – what I remember about America.

There are those, today, who have come to America and those who live in America, who are crying for the removal of our Constitution or to re-write and redefine this scared document to fit their personal selfish ambitions.

I call it sacred because it was forged in the fires of the struggle for freedoms of thought, freedom of religion, freedom of expression and the freedom to pursue life, liberty and happiness.

I call it sacred because this Great Idea, our Constitution, was founded upon Christian and Judeo principals and ethos.

There are those in America who will violently silence our rights of expression, rights of free speech and right of free worship of our God.

There are those in America who are actively stealing our peace and replacing it with violence, public disruption, debauchery and every form of evil practice.

There are those in America who are advocating for the dissolution of our Republic, our heritage, and our future in favor of a nightmare of Global despotism.

I don’t love what I see happening to my America. I don’t like it one bit.

Helle C. Dale, Senior Fellow for Public Diplomacy, said this. “The American experiment was unique and improbable in 1776, when Thomas Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence and the American colonies defied Britain, the most powerful nation on earth at the time. As we look around the world at how difficult it is for democracy and freedom to take hold and flourish, America seems like a political miracle.

“In 1787, when the Founding Fathers had hammered out the U.S. Constitution in Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Benjamin Franklin told an inquiring woman what the gathering had produced, “A republic, madam, if you can keep it.”

We, Americans have kept our republic and built it to be strong, but it will only remain so under constant vigilance and if we return to our founding principals: One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, with liberty and Justice for all.

Oh, beautiful for pilgrim feet,

Whose stern, impassioned stress

A thoroughfare of freedom beat

Across the wilderness!

America! America!

God mend thine ev’ry flaw,

Confirm thy soul in self-control,

Thy liberty in law.

Oh, beautiful for heroes proved

In liberating strife,

Who more than self their country loved,

And mercy more than life!

America! America!

May God thy gold refine,

Till all success be nobleness,

And ev’ry gain divine.

Oh, beautiful for patriot dream

That sees beyond the years

Thine alabaster cities gleam,

Undimmed by human tears!

America! America!

God shed his grace on thee,

And crown thy good with brotherhood

From sea to shining sea.

Say with me:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America

and to the Republic for which it stands,

one Nation under God,

indivisible,

with liberty and justice for all.

Your Brother and Friend,

Mike Young

PS: Either we rise up, now, as Patriots, or our time is over. So, once again , want to remind us all, that as the Church goes, so goes our Nation.

Let’s humble ourselves before the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, repent from our evil ways, purge our churches of worldly ambitions, greed and selfishness, reject the “religious hirelings” sent to mislead us.

Let’s pray for our land, AND LET’S TAKE A STAND AGAINST THE ENEMIES OF OUR AMERICA, BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC, AND TAKE A STAND AGAINST ALL THE FORMS OF EVIL WHICH POLLUTE OUR LAND OUR PEOPLE AND OUR CHURCHES.

Please join us, as we endeavor to do our little part. We are trying to establish Bible Studies and Fellowships in every neighborhood and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Greatest antidote to what ails America.
