AN URGENT WORD FROM GOD
‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. ‘He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
Revelation 3:20,21
This is considered an evangelic Word of Salvation, to many. But, in the context of the Book of Revelation, it is also a warning. The time is drawing near and time is running short.
Many of us are living our lives without much regard to the coming Day of the Lord, which is upon us.
HEAR THESE WORDS OF GOD AND LET’S TAKE HEED:
Colossians 3:1 ¶ Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
5 ¶ Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.
6 For it is because of these things
that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience,
7 and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them.
8 ¶ But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.
9 Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices,
10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him —
11 a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.
12 ¶ So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
14 Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
If by some tragic chance, you have bought into the idea that because you attend or belong to a church, have said some simple prayer, but have not repented or have not begun the process of repenting of your former life and are not walking or beginning to walk in the Spirit of God, listen carefully:
THE DAY OF THE LORD IS AT HAND, AND IS EVEN UPON US.
WE ARE AT THE PRECIPICE AND HERE IS WHAT IS AT HAND: THE UNITED STATES IS BEING SWALLOWED UP BY THE ONE-WORLD GLOBALIST MOVEMENT.
GOD HAS GIVEN US A SMALL RESPITE OF TIME. DO NOT SQUANDER THIS GIFT. GET READY, NOW.
“I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
KNOW THIS:
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. a
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you
from the trapper’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
