“GIVE THEM THEIR FOOD AT THE PROPER TIME”

One day, very soon, you will be asking the urgent questions: What will I do now?

Let me start by asking, “What is the meaning of this headline?” I took it from a section of scriptures as follows:

Parable of the Fig Tree

Matthew 24: 32“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; 33so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. 34“Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

36“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37“For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38“For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40“Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41“Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.

Be Ready for His Coming

42 “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. 43“But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. 44“For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

45“Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46“Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. 47“Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48“But if that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is not coming for a long time,’ 49and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards;

50the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know,

51 and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Please, understand that this was written by a Jewish Christian (Matthew) to other Jewish Christians. It was not written to an audience-at-large. THIS IS OF PRIMARY IMPORTANCE TO THE CHRISTIAN.

THIS PROPHETIC WORD tells us these important things:

1. The signs of the times in which we live will tells us our proximity in time of the events described. (Matthew 24: 3235)

2. It gives us an overview of what is to happen to each person on this planet – this is about our immediate and eternal future. (Matthew 24: 3641)

3. It tells you about your responsibilities as a Christian. (Matthew 24: 4245)

4. It tells you about your fate if you disregard this prophecy. (Matthew 24:51)

THIS PROPHETIC SCRIPTURE IS RARELY TAUGHT OR EMPHASIZED TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE CHURCH.

“GIVE THEM THEIR FOOD AT THE PROPER TIME”

Understand the meaning of the “Proper time”: Strong’s #2540 καιρός kairos kahee-ros’

1) due measure; a fixed and definite time, the time when things are brought to crisis, the decisive epoch waited for; opportune or seasonable time; the right time.

Honestly, I am trying to keep this message current. OUR TIME IS SHORT. Stop the rituals and the routines and let’s be about our Father’s Work.

IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY AND OPPORTUNITY.

Please! Let’s come together on these urgent matters.

Your Friend and Co-Laborer,

Mike Young
