The problem of UNBELIEF

During our Sunday School lesson last week, our teacher asked “What is the greatest problem facing the world today?”

What would you say? ISIS? A financial collapse? Iran and nuclear weapons?

Maybe it is more personal, such as your health, your marriage, a relationship, your finances, a job?

The teacher said it is “sin” and its consequences. We discussed this subject in light of Hebrews chapter 9.

My mind keeps going back to that question. And I feel that “Unbelief” is a close second. Unbelief brings doubt, despair and hopelessness for anyone. And since Unbelief is sin for a Christian, it ranks as a major problem. Read this:

John 3:17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; HE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Unbelief condemns.
Mark 16:12 – 20 and Matthew 28:16 – 20 talks about the problem and consequences of unbelief
.

Here is a short audio clip on the matter. If this speaks to you, go to the “LONG” vervsion (a sermon on the matter)
