a) When was the last time you studied or read your Bible?

Now, please read what the Bible says about conduct:

Galatians 5:16But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.

19 Now the deeds of the flesh are:

  • immorality, impurity, sensuality (including pedophilia, homosexuality, bestiality, bisexuality, etc.)

  • idolatry,

  • sorcery, (including witchcraft, ouija, palm reading, astrology, magic)

  • enmities, (including hatred, vengence and revenge)

  • strife,

  • jealousy,

  • outbursts of anger,

  • disputes, dissensions, factions,

  • envying,

  • drunkenness,

  • carousing,

and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

BEWARE

Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God

So, what now? First, know that you are not alone. The Apostle Paul has walked this road and suffered its torments.

Romans 7:21“I, Paul, have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?” (NLT)

“THE REMEDY”

But, Paul found “The Remedy”. It is rarely easy, and it is not just a fix – but it is “The Remedy”. .

Romans 7:25 Paul says, “Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin. So now I know that there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.”

WHO CAN FIND THIS FREEDOM?

Anyone and everyone who will confess their sins, turn away from them (Repent) and call on the Name of Jesus.

This includes pastors, preachers, theologians, Bible teachers, religious leaders and every man, woman, boy and girl on this earth.

Romans 10:9 says, “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

And

1 John1:9,10 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.)

The road can be tough, and, maybe there are no ‘quick fixes’. You may have to start of struggling and managing, but believe me when I say, “Your Redemption Draws Nigh”, because I have been there and it has been fight of my life! But, like Paul, I can say, with inexpressible joy full of glory, “Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Message me or email me if you want to talk and take these life-saving, life-giving steps – together.

PS: I have been visiting churches around our state, and I have seen something disturbing to me. Too many pastors, preachers and church leaders are telling the rest of us how to live, but, they are

  • OVERWEIGHT (it’s called gluttony), and/or

  • DISHEVELED (it’s called slothful), and/or

  • SPORTING TATTOOS (“Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD.) and/or

  • UNPREPARED TO PRESENT THE GOSPEL (it called lazy) and/or

  • NOT WITNESSING THE GOSPEL, PERSONALLY, TO OTHERS

  • IN DEBT (slave to the lender) and/or

  • OUT OF SHAPE and/or

  • MANIPULATING and/or

  • LYING and/or

  • CHEATING and/or

  • STEALING and/or

  • SCARED

You know you are setting a bad example and people are mimicking you. You are causing people to stumble. Stop it! If you want to talk, contact me. Please.
