OF THINGS TO COME

Let me begin by saying that it is my firm conviction that scriptures are inerrant (without any error), and I will add, “in the original manuscripts”, particularly since there are over 450 known versions of the Bible in the English language alone. And the matter of inerrancy can be further complicated as the Bible has been translated into over 700 languages.

Versions vs Translations.

When it comes to a Version of the Bible, translators will focus on conveying the meaning of the text instead of strictly mirroring the exact wording or syntax. Versions such as the New International Version (NIV) or the New Living Translation (NLT) can be easier to read and understand, especially for those without historical-linguistic expertise. This approach presents Scripture in a more contemporary style, though at times the original phrase structures are smoothed out to ensure greater readability.

However, this approach leaves open the possibility of the translator omitting certain words or phrases found in the original manuscripts, or adding a meaning to fit a particular denominational view, a political view, a social or economic view or a personal worldview. This can lead to errors in the original author’s intent and context of scriptures.

Paraphrased or expanded translated Versions take a looser approach to wording, aiming for clarity and devotionally oriented reading. Examples include The Message (MSG) and The Living Bible (TLB), which give fresh expressions but are not usually recommended as primary study Bibles. Some translators feel that they can, however, be helpful alongside more literal versions for additional nuances of meaning.

Translations emerge from a desire to make Scripture accessible in various languages and cultures. The ancient Hebrew and Aramaic texts of the Old Testament and the Koine Greek texts of the New Testament are the ultimate sources. Over centuries, scholars have pieced together the earliest manuscripts, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls (date range from about 3rd century BC to 1st century AD), the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures dated around the 3rd-2nd century BC), and numerous Greek New Testament manuscripts (including Codex Sinaiticus, Codex Vaticanus, etc.) – to accurately transmit Scripture’s words.

Each translator or Translation committee must consider two primary goals: (1). Faithfulness to the original text and (2), readability in the receptor language. This tension has produced different philosophies of translation, each influencing how closely a modern Bible version adheres to precise wording or broader meaning.

So, please forgive me for being surprised to astounded that so much of the plain word of God has been and is being either misread, misinterpreted, misused or distorted and then taught as the truth of scriptures and formulated into a doctrine when it is clearly and obviously does not conform the earliest manuscripts or is sometimes deliberately taught as a way to achieve an agenda that is not Gospel centered.

I seriously and openly welcome you to challenge what I am presenting so we can discuss these matters if you will do so in a civil, responsible and reasonable way. I.e., no hostilities.

I have studied and written extensively on eschatological matters (relating to End Times and the End of This Age) using the Book of Matthew and the Book of Revelation as my primary sources and other relevant chapters and verses of the Bible for context, corroboration, collaboration and evidence of facts.

Furthermore, I am using, alternatively, the New American Standard Version of the Bible, the English Standard Version because of their close proximity to the original wording and intent of the authors of the Bible, and occasionally the King James and the Amplified versions to corroborate context. I will also use the BlueLetterBible.com, BibleHub.com and Biblegateway.com for translations to and from the Greek (New Testament) and Hebrew (Old Testament) languages, and for verb usage (tense), and for Strong’s Bible concordance definitions, context, historicity and for social, political and cultural nuances of wording and phraseology.

In this essay, I am corroborating my previous Bible and eschatological studies from the books Matthew and Revelation (used as my focus books), with the Book of Mark.

Here is my Thesis: The Bible, i.e., the Scriptures, have consistently foretold, (prophesied), the coming of a Messiah, both from the Hebrew Bible or the Torah and from the Christian Bible. The Messiah, or “Mashiach” meaning “Anointed One” is seen throughout many Old Testament passages, culminating in the New Testament with the person of Jesus, identified as the Christ – The Savior of the World. The arrival of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, set in motion what the Bible calls the ‘Last Days’ or the ‘End of The Age’. The study of this subject is known as Christian ‘eschatology’. It can be most clearly seen, in the New Testament, in the book of Matthew, Mark, Revelation with certain details and context given in other New Testament books such as 1 Thessalonians, 1 Corinthians 10:11, 2 Timothy 3:1, Hebrews 1:2, Hebrews 9:26, 1 Peter 1:20, 1 Peter 4:7, 2 Peter 3:3. 1 John 2:18. Revelation 1:9.

  1. “The End of The Age” or the “Last Days” began in or around the time of the birth of Jesus through around A.D. 99. These prophesied and prophetic events are first described in the breaking of Tribulation Seals One through Five. (See Matthew 24:1-14, Mark 13:1-13, and Revelation 6:1-11.)
  2. The breaking or opening of these first Five Seals, known as the Birth Pains (phase) of the Tribulation, have been overlapping and intensifying to the present day, preparing us for the breaking of the two final Seals, the Judgement Seals (Six and Seven – see Matthew 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-27, and Revelation 6:12-17, Revelation 7:1-17, Revelation 8:1.), followed by the sounding of the Seven Judgement Trumpets and finally, followed by the pouring out of the Seven Judgment Bowls of Wrath and the Wrath of the Lamb.
  3. The breaking of the Sixth Tribulation Judgment Seal, which is yet a future event, will usher in The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord, also known as the Great Tribulation and initiates the final Seven years of the Great Tribulation and the Wrath of the Lamb.

Mark 13:1, “As Jesus was going out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, look! What wonderful stones and [footnote b]what wonderful buildings!” verse 2 And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”

verse 3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew were questioning Him privately, verse 4 “Tell us, when will these things come about,

(This verb “Tell” is in the Aorist Tense which is characterized by its emphasis on punctiliar action; that is, the concept of the verb is considered without regard for past, present, or future time. [It could also be said that this is how God sees time]. There is no direct or clear English equivalent for this tense, though it is generally rendered as a simple past tense in most translations. The events described by the aorist tense are classified into a number of categories by grammarians. The most common of these include a view of the action as having begun from a certain point (“inceptive aorist”), or having ended at a certain point (“cumulative aorist”), or merely existing at a certain point (“punctiliar aorist”). A continuous and continuing action. The categorization of other cases can be found in Greek reference grammars. The English reader need not concern himself with most of these finer points concerning the aorist tense, since in most cases they cannot be rendered accurately in English translation, being fine points of Greek exegesis only. The common practice of rendering an aorist by a simple English past tense should suffice in most cases.

This is important, because to the reader it may seem that these disciples, Peter, James, John and Andrew are asking Jesus a question about the FUTURE, and that Jesus’ response seems to be in the FUTURE TENSE, but Jesus’ answers in the AORIST TENSE, i.e., something has already occurred at a certain point in the past (“inceptive aorist”), or having ended at a certain point, (“cumulative aorist”) and is existing at a certain point (“punctiliar aorist”).

NOTE: The Bible uses this type of description of time (from God’s view of time) when it  says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” or ““I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

verse 4 continued, and what will be the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?”

Once again this sounds as if it is a question about a future event, but these words, “what will be the sign” are actually a verb spoken and written in the PRESENT TENSE, which represents a simple statement of fact or reality viewed as occurring in actual time. In most cases this corresponds directly with the English present tense. Some phrases which might be rendered as past tense in English will often occur in the present tense in Greek. These are termed “historical presents,” and such occurrences dramatize the event described as if the reader were there watching the event occur. Some English translations render such historical presents in the English past tense, while others permit the tense to remain in the present.

Again, this is important because we are hearing of an event or of events which are simultaneously past, present and future. There are evidentiary statements and testimonies of the disciples and of Jesus, regarding these Last Days events, were initially spoken in or around A.D. 1 through around A.D. 99, and were consistently referred to as LAST DAYS – THE LAST TIMES – THE END OF THE AGES – THE END OF ALL THINGS – THE BIRTH PAINS OF THE TRIBULATION”. These first Five Tribulation Seals had begun to be opened in or around A.D. 1 through A.D. 99, have continued to occur, overlap and intensify to this very day. In other words, the tribulation has already begun. We are in the tribulation period known as The Birth Pains and that period will both culminate, merge with and initiate the breaking of the Sixth Tribulation Judgment Seal, marking the beginning of the Day of The Great Tribulation, also known as the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord and the Wrath of the Lamb, initiating the rapture of the Elect of God off the earth and into the presence of God before His Throne.

verse 5 And Jesus began to say to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. verse 6 Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He!’ and they will mislead many.

verse 7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end. verse 8 For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;

there will be earthquakes in various places;

there will also be famines.

These things are only the beginning of birth pains.

verse 9 “But [e]be on your guard; for they will hand you over to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them. verse 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations. verse 11 And when they ]arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time; for you are not the ones speaking, but it is the Holy Spirit. verse 12 And brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.

verse 13 And you will be hated by everyone because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

verse 14 “Now when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be—let the reader understand—then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. verse 15  Whoever is on the [l]housetop must not go down, nor go in to get anything out of his house. verse 16 And whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. verse 17 But woe to those women who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies in those days! verse 18 Moreover, pray that it will not happen in winter.

verse 19 For those days will be such a time of tribulation as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will again.  verse 20 And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no [n]life would have been saved; but for the sake of the [footnote “o”] elect, whom He chose, He shortened the days.

This marks the end of the Tribulation of The Birth Pains and the beginning of the Great Tribulation, the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.

verse 21 And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ’; or, ‘Look, there He is’; do not believe it; verse 22 for false christs and false prophets will arise, and will provide signs and wonders, in order to mislead, if possible, the elect. verse 23 But beware; I have told you everything in advance.

The Return of Christ

24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, 25 and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. 26 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

The word “after” in verse 24 is a preposition referring to “those days” that came before they days now being mentioned. The word “that” is a demonstrative pronoun referring to which entity, which in this case is “the tribulation periods that preceded this mention”. And the word “tribulation” is the Greek word, “thlipsis” which is the word that is always used for tribulation, whether Tribulation Seals one through five, or six through seven, or the Tribulation Trumpets or the Tribulation Bowl Judgments and is distinctively different from and separate from “persecutions” or “stresses”.

27 And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His [q]elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of heaven.

We can also see in the corresponding scriptures in Revelation 6 and 7, “After these things (see Revelation 6:1 through Revelation 7:9), “I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen, blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

In recapitulation, Jesus appears in the sky, the angels gather the elect and immediately, a number too great to be counted is standing before the Throne of God, giving praise! Don’t be misled. This is THE RAPTURE!!)

So, what can we learn and apply from what we know, and what can we gain?

  1. We can know that the Tribulation period of the first five Tribulation Seals began at or around the time of the Birth of Christ and that they have been overlapping and increasing in their intensity to this day.
  2. Most in the Church today are still waiting for events that have already begun and are not prepared for what is upon them. Jesus warned against this:
    1. 28 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that He is near, right at the door. verse 30 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. verse 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. verse 32 But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
    2. verse 33 “Watch out, stay alert; for you do not know when the appointed time is. verse 34 It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay alert. verse 35 Therefore, stay alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning—verse 36 so that he does not come suddenly and find you asleep. verse 37 What I say to you I say to all: ‘Stay alert!’”
    3. We also see in Matthew 24:48-51, “verse 48 But if that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is not coming for a long time,’ verse 49 and he begins to beat his fellow slaves, and he eats and drinks with those habitually drunk; verse 50 then the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know, 51 and he will cut him in two and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
  3. We must be doing those things Jesus modeled, taught and commanded in preparation of the End of the Age and for His Return – nothing more and nothing less or one will hear the words, “Why do you call me Lord and have not done what I have told you? I do not know you. Depart from me you workers of lawlessness!”

So, what will you do with what you have now read and heard? Will you continue to simply accept the word of another, or will you study it until you know for yourself? (And by the way, I realize that a lot of what I have presented is complicated and can be confusing. Some might say, ‘unnecessarily so’. But, like the old saying goes, ‘is anything that is easy or cheap really worth much?’ But, for those who are interested, I do have these very eschatological matters presented and discussed in several easier-to-understand versions. Sort of in an order of stepping stones, from simple to not-so-simple. But, I believe that each presentation leads to the same Biblically sound conclusion and will enable the disciple of Jesus, the fully devoted follower, to be informed and prepared for these Last Days. While it would be easier and a lot less trouble to just say “I believe in Jesus, I go to church, I am active in various religious activities”, and to say you are saved, it is no easy thing to be saved and to really believe Him and follow Him. And although it is always God who does His Works through us, (it is never anything of or by ourselves), really following Jesus requires faith, obedience and action. We know that we walk by faith and not by sight, but it is not blind faith, but informed faith. We are informed by The Holy Spirit and Scriptures on how we are to believe, to think and to act. Scriptures tell us that He is the Lamp unto our feet. And though we may not know each step, we can know that when His Voice and circumstances line up with the revealed Word of God, we must move on it!

Is America Dying?

IS AMERICA DYING?

What Happens if the United States of America, as we have known it for the last 248 years, ceases to exist? What happens to you, your family and your way of life?

Believe it or not, (and you should be careful here), that is exactly what is happening, and it is by design. And if this is the case, is there any hope of saving her (and us)?

Let me, first, explain, in brief, (#1), what is happening, then (#2), why it is happening and thirdly, (#3), how it is happening and finally, (#4), what you and I can do about it, that is, if you care.

Attacks on and the attempted destruction of America started almost as soon as she was established as a nation. The more recent direct attacks on America, were the attack by Japan in 1941, the attack by Al Qaeda on September 11, 2001. But, the longest lasting and most consistent attack has been largely unseen by the American public. It is the attack by Communists and Marxists from around the globe. Today, we can identify China and the elements from within the United Nations as the primary aggressors.

Let me give you just an abbreviated preview of the facts, both from a historical political perspective and from a historical Biblical perspective. (I say abbreviated because the full version would fill a book or two).

Historically speaking, the ideology driving the takeover of America, as well as the rest of the world, was born in 1848, when German economist and philosopher Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels publish The Communist Manifesto, called for a working-class revolt against capitalism. Its motto, “Workers of the world, unite!” quickly became a rallying cry.

 WHAT IS HAPPENING to my America?

Fast forwarding to the founding idea of dismantling the United States of America, confiscating her treasury and transforming our government, education systems and social structures into the coming Socialist-Communist one world government, was publicly announced in 1946.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING to my America?

The first Director-General of The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, Julian Huxley in 1946, bragged that “The task before The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “is the emergence of a single world culture by transferring full sovereignty from separate nations to a world organization. this new world order will be a Socialist, authoritarian global government and court with global rule of law and a one-world economy.”

“The recommendations of the Commission on Global Governance, when implemented, will bring all the people of the world into a global neighborhood managed by a world-wide bureaucracy, under the direct authority of a minute handful of appointed individuals, and policed by thousands of individuals, paid by accredited NGOs, certified to support a belief system which contains ideas that are foreign to but are also precious to the American experience.

NOTE:  From a historical Biblical perspective, this was foreshadowed by the building of the Tower of Babel, built around 2242 B.C. There was a post-Flood rebellion against God by Noah’s descendants. As told about in Genesis 11:1-9, it is meant to explain why the world’s peoples speak different languages. According to the account, a united humanity in the generations following the Great Flood, speaking a single language and migrating eastward, comes to the land of Shinar. There, they agree to build a city and a tower tall enough to reach heaven.

(NOTE: “tall enough to reach to heaven” can be a metaphor for “man reaching to heaven, making himself god, to accomplish his own desires. This is the ‘Utopian dream’ of the Socialist and Communist manifestos; the State being our god – from cradle to grave)

This effort of uniting in a global community has been repeated unsuccessfully throughout history for about 4,200 years.

It has been, only in the last 75 years, with the great advances in technologies, is this becoming a successful global phenomenon of monstrous proportions.

So, this is happening in the world and to America because the thoughts and hearts of men are continually evil and rebellious toward God.

This is happening because these are the closing chapters of God prophetic plan, purpose and promise for all humankind as well as for the entire cosmos.

His purpose is to perfect us, those who would believe on Him and in the Name of Jesus, and to make us into the image of Christ, preparing us to live in His Presence and with one another for all eternity.

His purpose is to purge, cleanse and refine all of His creation and His Church, the Bride of Christ in preparation for His Return!

Daniel 12 verses 1 through 4, and verses 9 and 10,  tell us, “Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt. And those who have insight will shine like the glow of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. But as for you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal up the book until the end of time; many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”

 “Go your way, Daniel, for these words will be kept secret and sealed up until the end time. Many will be purged, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.”

This of course, is referring to the tribulation Seals ONE through FIVE, which are specifically directed at the Church and Believers in Jesus Christ. God’s SIX-FOLD purpose in bringing these events to pass, found in Daniel 9, verse 24 says the PURPOSE is:

1) “to finish transgression,” (that is, to end man’s rebellion toward God)

2) “to put an end to sin,” (i.e., to bring an end to sin)

3) “to atone for wickedness,” (i.e., to make amends or reparation for wickedness)

4) “to bring in everlasting righteousness,” (i.e., the quality of being morally right or justifiable)

5) “to seal up vision and prophecy,” and (i.e., to confirm these prophetic visions)

6) “to anoint the most holy.” (i.e., to anoint, or to confer divine or holy office upon; in this case the Holy One, Jesus.)

Notice that the results of this six-fold purpose concerns the total eradication of sin and the establishing of righteousness.

Just like in the days of Noah, (see Genesis chapter 6 verses 7 through nine and verses eleven through thirteen, The Lord saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually. So the Lord was sorry that He had made mankind on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. Then the Lord said, “I will wipe out mankind whom I have created from the face of the land; mankind, and animals as well, and crawling things, and the birds of the sky. For I am sorry that I have made them.”

”Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence.  And God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for humanity had corrupted its way upon the earth.

Then God said to Noah, “The end of  humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.”

God then promised He would never again destroy the world by flood. But, prophesies tell us that next time it will be by a series of tribulations known as the Birth Pangs of tribulation, followed by the Great Tribulation, the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord and the Wrath of the Lamb, then comes the end, destruction by a “fervent heat”.

HOW IS THIS HAPPENING to my America?

This is where it gets complicated and lengthy. I will condense as much as possible. Let’s rewind only as far back as to the year 1946 in the United States:

Where did it originate?

Produced by the United Nations World Commission on Environmental and Development, authored by Gro Harlem Brundtland, VP of the World Socialist Party, the term Sustainable Development was first introduced to the world in the pages of a 1987 report (Our Common Future).

1990 – Agenda 21 – what-is-it? ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability (or simply ICLEI) is an international non-governmental organization that promotes sustainable development. ICLEI provides technical consulting to local governments to meet sustainability objectives.

Founded in 1990 and formerly known as the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives, the international association was established when more than 200 local governments from 43 countries convened at its inaugural conference, the World Congress of Local Governments for a Sustainable Future, at the United Nations in New York in September 1990.

As of 2020, more than 1,750 cities, towns, counties, and their associations in 126 countries are a part of the ICLEI network

As of 2021, ICLEI has more than 20 offices around the world.

1992 – The term was first offered as official U.N. policy in 1992, in a document called UN Sustainable Development Agenda 21, issued at the U.N.’s Earth Summit, today referred to simply as Agenda 21.

Agenda 21 has now become involved in forty areas ranging from SOCIAL and ECONOMIC DIMENSIONS to poverty, consumption issues, health matters, deforestation, legal instruments and implementation and everything in between, including The World Health Organization, which is closely allied to and aligned with the World Summit on Sustainable Development.  The World Health Organization has revamped their website to conceal this fact.  Their previous web address was Who.int/wssd/en/, but when you click the link, you will find they have erased that site from public view.

  1. The United States is a signatory country to Agenda 21. But adherents quickly remind us that because Agenda 21 is “a legally non-binding statement of intent” and not a treaty, the United States Senate did not hold a formal debate or vote on it. It is therefore not considered to be law under Article Six of the United States Constitution, or so they said.

However, President GEORGE H.W. BUSH was one of the 178 heads of government who signed the final text of the agreement at the Earth Summit in 1992, and in the same year Representatives NANCY PELOSI, Eliot Engel and William Broomfield spoke in support of United States House of Representatives Concurrent Resolution 353, supporting implementation of Agenda 21 in the United States.

1993 – Then president, BILL CLINTON, signed a 1993 Executive Order, creating the President’s Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD) is explicitly charged with recommending a national action plan for sustainable development to the President. So, bypassing Congress, Clinton, made it law.

1996 – The President’s Council on Sustainable Development is composed of leaders from government and industry, as well as from environmental, labor and civil rights organizations.

The President’s Council on Sustainable Development submitted its report, “Sustainable America: A New Consensus”, to the President in early 1996. In the absence of a multi-sectoral consensus on how to achieve sustainable development in the United States, the President’s Council on Sustainable Development was conceived to formulate recommendations for the implementation of Agenda 21.

In the United States, there are over 300 American cities are members of “Local Governments for Sustainability” or “ICLEI”, is an international Marxist and Socialist leaning sustainability organization, that helps to implement the Agenda 21 and Local Agenda 21 concepts across the world. The United States has nearly half of the ICLEI’s global membership of 1,200 cities promoting sustainable development at a local level.

2015 – The Newest name for this United Nations organization is ‘Agenda 2030’.

17 Goals for People, for Planet –  The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 17 Goals were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which set out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals.

‘Twenty-thirty’ designates the year their goals of Global domination will be completed.

2019 – The World Economic Forum and the United Nations signed a Strategic Partnership Framework, June 13, 2019, outlining areas of cooperation to deepen institutional engagement and jointly accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. FINALLY – WHAT CAN YOU AND I DO IN RESPONSE?

Once again, I will try to be as brief as possible on this page and I will give links to a more detailed Biblical approach.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED. The ‘rest of this story’ or the ‘story behind this story’ is Globalism. As usual, a plausible, but false narrative is presented to obscure the real agenda – a One World heavy-handed, dictatorial governement.

Surrender to Jesus as Lord and for Salvation, and He will give you wisdom, strength, courage and knowledge.

Repent and enter the Kingdom of God. “From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17 This Kingdom is a very real place. It is described by metaphor, but it is no metaphor. It is a real place we must possess in these last days. Jesus centers His teaching to His disciples around this Truth, telling them they must enter the Kingdom of God and continue His Works until He returns. (more on this in an upcoming article)

Educate yourself. Become Bible literate. “Also it (that is the leader and this One World Government, also known as the ‘man of perdition’ or ‘the man of lawlessness’, the antichrist), causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom…” Revelation 13:16-18 says,

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.”

“Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.”

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

These are real and serious matters BUT you must know that, as Christ followers, we are NOT to entangle ourselves in this political fight. However, most politicians will tell you it is our fight because they need your money. Go ahead and support them, but do not fight alongside of them.

Many, if not most, preachers, pastors, religious authors, some theologians and Bible teachers will tell you if we, the Christians, do not speak up from the pulpit and in a political context about governments, suspicious technologies, unfair taxing and financial systems, we are shirking our duties. That is not so. Our fight is the same fight that Jesus fought, continues to fight and call us to fight as His disciples and as Christian warriors. You should address these matters through scriptures.

Our fight is NOT against flesh and blood (people).

Our fight is NOT against governments, anarchists, terrorists and their armies.

Our fight IS against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Our fight is as co-laborers with Christ, for the souls and lives of those who are perishing.

Do not preach politics or ideologies from the pulpit – preach the Gospel. Preach Jesus Christ, crucified, buried, and resurrected.

You should preach or tell what the Bible says and it will define your politics

You should preach or tell what the Bible says and it will define your politics in very clear and no uncertain terms. Preach or tell what the Bible says and witness the Bible to people in very clear and no uncertain terms and then you live it out.

You must stand strong in what you believe. Do not shrink back, but stand firm in the face of this evil and darkness which is spreading across our nation and our world.

Certain governments will ban the Bible, but many of those same governments will allow you to preach and witness, if you will only compromise His Word or omit certain things from His Word that affects their politics and policies. And, many preachers and pastors are doing just that! They, thereby, are NOT preaching or telling the full Gospel and are NOT preaching the entirety of the Bible. (see Matthew 5:19). Sadly, many preachers compromise the Word of God for convenience, profit, expediency, ignorance or out of fear. Do not listen to them. Run from them.

Politics will not save you.

Economics will not save you.

Stockpiles of food and water may help and shelter will help, but they will disappear and will not save you.

Medicines may help for a while, but, they will run out and will not save you.

Guns certainly will not save you. (If you are enlisted or drafted into military service for your country, you must do that. And then guns and weapons of war are only tools in that fight).

Technology will not save you.

Resist the Devil and draw near to God, and the Devil, his demons, and their lies, will flee from you.

There is only ONE WAY, and His Name is Jesus.

God will save you. Jesus will save you.

Despite all of this, these are exciting times in which we live! But, we must be prepared and ‘endure to the end’ (most likely the end of the 5th Seal of Revelation) as Jesus said in Matthew 24. And by all accounts, it would seem we are at that stage! (see “Did Jesus and His Disciples Really Say This?”)

EVIDENCE THAT WE ARE IN THE LAST DAYS – PRE-WRATH, PRE-TRIBULATION

Matthew 24:3 says,  “As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Verse 4, “And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you.

Verse 5, “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.

Verse 6, “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.

Verse 7, “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.

Verse 8, “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

Verse 9, “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.”

So, when will these things happen?

I. Many will come IN MY NAME:

This can be someone literally saying ‘I am the Christ’, but it is proving to be those who consider themselves as an emissary of Christ – such as ‘ordained pastors’ – who speak for Christ, but are blindly following ‘new age’ or errant doctrines; or, as we are clearly seeing, now, in our day, ‘institutional deception’, where entire denominations fall away from the clear teachings of Jesus and lead millions astray. So, how can we know ‘which of the false Christs’ Jesus is referring to, WHICH WILL MARK THE ‘END OF THE AGE’?

II. WARS and rumors of war:

There have been thousands upon thousands of wars and conflicts since the time of Christ. Most notable for their scope and breadth are the

  • Religious Crusades (1095 – 1291, Muslims vs Latin Church, almost 2 million dead),
  • WWI (1914 – 1918, 17 million dead), and
  • WW2 (1939 – 1945, over 70 million dead).

So, how can we know ‘which wars and rumors of wars‘ Jesus is referring to, WHICH WILL MARK THE ‘END OF THE AGE’?

III. EARTHQUAKES & VOLCANOES:

Earthquakes are nothing new. In fact, they are so numerous that I can only give you a web link by period of time and let you view what has been recorded. But, Jesus did warn they would come.

Volcanoes are nothing new, either, but it would seem that seismic events (volcanoes) are on the rise.

At first glance the nearly exponential increase through recent centuries suggests that the planet may soon be overwhelmed by volcanic activity, but this increase tracks the striking growth of global population that has spread potential observers of eruptions over much of the Earth and the technological advances that have facilitated reporting of those eruptions. So, how can we know ‘which EARTHQUAKES‘ Jesus is referring to, WHICH WILL MARK THE ‘END OF THE AGE’?

IV. FAMINES:

Famines have taken hundreds of millions of lives since the time of Christ, so this is nothing new, either.

So, how can we know ‘which FAMINES‘ Jesus is referring to, WHICH WILL MARK THE ‘END OF THE AGE’?

V. PERSECUTION:

Jesus tells us there will be a worldwide persecution of Christians. A look at history shows us that In the first few centuries, Christianity grew quickly. By A.D. 325, an estimated 7 million people were Christians, with as many as 2 million killed for their faith in Jesus.

However, according to a Christian think-tank. The Center for the Study of Global Christianity (CSGC) says 900,000 Christians have been ‘martyred’ in the last decade, equating to 90,000 a year and one every six minutes.

This may be the most dangerous time in history to be Christian

 

At least 327 million Christians face persecution, according to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), which released its biannual report on Religious Freedom in the World in November 2018. That is 7 percent of the world’s 2.3 billion Christians, estimated by Pew Research Center in 2015.

245 million Christians in the top 50 countries on Open Doors USA’s 2019 World Watch List experience high levels of persecution (i.e.: torture, rape, sex-slavery, for conversion to Christianity, murder and genocide), an increase of 14 percent from 2018. Sixty percent of those enduring persecution are children; women and girls are most violated. Release International, a UK-based human rights watchdog in operation for the past 50 years who partner with U.S.-based “Voice of the Martyrs” said they expect global anti-Christian persecution is set to rise ‘sharply’ in 2019. – (Read the report here)

So, how can we know ‘which period of Christian Persecution’ Jesus is referring to, WHICH WILL MARK THE ‘END OF THE AGE’?

So, where does all of this lead?

1. You will know when ‘The End of the Age’ is near, not when one or two of these events occur, but when ALL of ‘these things’ occur and converge concurrently, as Jesus said they would; then these things are the harbinger of ‘those things’ which are yet to come to pass. (Also, see “The Tribulation of Those Days’).

2. The phrase “the beginning of birth pangs” is a statement made by Jesus in or around the year AD 30 and is a translation of the Greek archē _ ōdin . The meaning of the phrase, translated in the KJV as “the beginning of sorrows” is a direct reference to preliminary birth pangs that ultimately lead to the full scale contractions and travail, which leads to the actual birth.

Recognizing the Old Testament reference that Jesus is referencing, is an essential, but often overlooked key to determining the timing of the prophecy. Jesus was pointing his disciples to two key passages from the prophet Isaiah.

These passages are found in Isaiah 26, a portion of Scripture that is sometimes referred to as “Isaiah’s little apocalypse”. There, the Lord speaks through Isaiah, specifically contrasting the expectations of the Jewish people regarding deliverance, redemption and physical resurrection with the reality of the pain, suffering and travail that they had corporately experienced. In verses 16-18, the complaint of Israel is raised that despite having endured the great suffering of labor, the expected “birth” of deliverance, redemption and resurrection had not arrived.

This helps make clear that the Last Days and the opening of the first five tribulation Seals began in our around the birth of Christ through A.D 95.

When considering this question, we must, once again look at the words and testimonies of Jesus and the Apostles who referred to these periods and to those days as:  ‘The Last Days’, ‘The Last Times’, ‘The End of All Things’, ‘The End of The Ages’, and “Jesus has appeared, once for all, at the End of The Ages’. Here are the references which further confirm these dates:

Matthew 24:4-31, (Jesus), describing a panorama of the tribulation and the Last Days.

From these verses, we can plainly see that the first 5 tribulation Seals were broken and the effects had begun between the time of the birth of Jesus and A.D 95.

Acts 2:14-17, (the Apostle Peter), saying, “let this be known to you, and give ear to my words. For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: ‘And in the last days it shall be…’

1 Peter 1:20, (the Apostle Peter), saying, “ He, (Jesus), was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you.”

 1 Peter 4:7, (the Apostle Peter), saying, “The end of all things is at hand.”

 2 Peter 3:3. (the Apostle Peter), saying, “knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days.”

 1 Corinthians 10:11, (the Apostle Paul), saying, “Now these things happened to them as an example and warning [to us]; they were written for our instruction [to admonish and equip us], upon whom the ends of the ages have come.”

Hebrews 1:2, (the Apostle Paul), saying, “but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son.”

Hebrews 9:26, (the Apostle Paul), saying, “But as it is, Jesus has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.”

 2 Timothy 3:1, (Timothy), saying, “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.”

 

 

 1 John 2:18. (the Apostle John), saying, “Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.”

 Revelation 1:9, (The Apostle John), saying, “I, John, your brother and fellow participant in the tribulation.”

The Sixth Seal – Terror

Verse 12. I looked when He (the Lamb) broke open the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as, [footnote ‘h’], sackcloth [made] of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; verse 13, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, like a fig tree shedding its late [summer] figs when shaken by a strong wind. Verse 14. The sky was split, [separated from the land], and rolled up like a scroll, and every mountain and island were dislodged and moved out of their places. Verse 15. Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the, [footnote ‘i’], military commanders and the wealthy and the strong and everyone, [whether] slave or free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; verse 16, and they called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne, and from the [righteous] wrath and indignation of the Lamb; verse 17, for the great day of their wrath and vengeance and retribution has come, and who is able to [face God and] stand [before the wrath of the Lamb]?”

It is clear from history, that the events describing the 6th Tribulation Seal have not yet occurred. Furthermore, it could be said that the Seal Judgments actually come in 2 stages: The first five Seals could be referred to as the first stage of seals, known as the “birth pains” , which “are not yet the end” – as they have been described by Jesus in Matthew 24:6.

 These are followed by what we could call the second stage of tribulation Seals, 6th and 7th,, also known as the Great Tribulation Seals and The Day of Wrath.

It is plain to see that the intensity of the 6th Seal increases exponentially over the previous five Seals. This period is rightly named “The Great Tribulation” period. There is a continuing escalation of intensity as we approach the Trumpet Judgments, (The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord), and the Bowl Judgments, (The Wrath of the Lamb.)

Additionally, these three events occur during the 6th Tribulation Seal: (#1). An interlude for the sealing of the 144,000. (#2). The sealing of the 144,000 from the 12 Tribes of Israel, (see Revelation chapter 7), and (#3). The gathering of the ‘multitudes from the tribulation – also known as the Rapture. (also read Matthew 24:20-31). (End this commentary).

3. You must ask yourself, “why would Jesus warn His disciples (and subsequent disciples or anyone who would eventually read His Words in the Bible) about these coming events if they would not experience these events? Said another way, if we would have been Raptured before the tribulation, why warn us?  Why warn His disciples and followers about something they would not experience?” The anwer is, “HE WOULD NOT HAVE WARNED US UNLESS WE WOULD ENDURE THE FIRST 5 TRIBULATION SEALS, AND WOULD  NEED TO BE PREPARED!”

NOTE: The first five tribulation seals have been opened progressively since around the birth of Christ, have been overlapping, (occurring concurrently and converging), and increasing in intensity to this day. All of which will lead to the future opening of the 6th Tribulation Seal. This will usher in The Great Tribulation, also known as the Great andTerrible Day of The Lord, with cosmic disturbances, a blood red moon, a darkened sun, the Rapture, the multitude of people out of the tribulation before the throne of God, the Sealing of the 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel.

4. How can we tell WHICH ‘wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes’ were the result of the breaking of the first Seal of the tribulation, because there have been thousands of them since Jesus said these words.

5. I say again, Jesus, the Apostles Paul, Peter and Timothy, plus direct, clear and obvious scriptural references in  Hebrews 1:2, Hebrews 9:26, Acts 2:14-17, 2 Timothy 3:1, 1 Peter 1:20, 1 Peter 4:7, 2 Peter 3:3. confirm that these events began in or around the birth of Christ through A.D 95.

6. Was Jesus wanting to ‘scare’ listeners into believing by warning them ahead of time? (I think not. Trickery is not in Jesus Character. And, He tells us “do not be frightened” by these things.)

7. Jesus tells His disciples (and subsequent disciples or anyone who would eventually read His Word in the bible), in Matthew 24:6 that

“You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. Verse 7. “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. Verse 8. “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.”

And a few verses later, Matthew 24:13 “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.”

If we will have been “Raptured” and out of harms way when these things begin, then why would He be telling us these things?

Why is Jesus telling us that we should not be frightened by the WARS, Rumors OF WARS, NATIONS RISING AGAINST NATIONS, FAMINES, EARTHQUAKES, and that we must ENDURE TO THE END TO BE SAVED if we would not be affected?

Again I ask if we will have been “Raptured” and out of harms way when these things begin, then why would He be telling us these things?

Finally, let’s look at it this way:  When Hurricane Irma hit the U.S. in 2917, it was a classified as a category 5 storm;  As Irma progressed up the peninsula of Florida, it became a category 4 storm;  then as it entered Alabama it became a category 3 storm;  and finally as it entered Georgia, Irma became a tropical storm; and later as it entered Tennessee, it became a rain event.

To those in the various areas and states which hurricane Irma entered, it would have appeared to them that Irma might have been 5 different storms, occurring consecutively; first a Category 5 storm, then, a Category 4 storm, then, a Category 3 hurricane, then, a Tropical storm, and, finally, a rain event.  But if viewed “From Above” it was ONE CONTINUOUS STORM, progressively unfolding to its conclusion.

So it is with the breaking of the tribulation Seals.

This is an illustration and graph depicting the Pre-Tribulation, Pre-Wrath Rapture. A Short outline comparing Jesus’ account of the Tribulation period, found both in the Book of Revelation and in the Book of Matthew and in His Words.

Jesus compares the 1st Tribulation Seal as found in Revelation chapter 6, verses 1 and 2, to Global conquest and political intrigue found in Matthew chapter 24 verses 6 and 7. (This Seal was broken between A.D 1 and A.D 95, has been ongoing and has been overlapping the other Seals, and has been intensifying.)

The 2nd Tribulation Seal as found in Revelation 6, verses 2 and 4, as corresponding to Matthew 24, verse 7,  Wars and Rumors of War. (This Seal was broken between A.D 1 and A.D 95, has been ongoing and has been overlapping the other Seals, and has been intensifying.)

The 3rd Tribulation Seal from Revelation 6, verse 5, as compared to Matthew 24, verse 7, Famine and earthquakes. (This Seal was broken between A.D 1 and A.D 95, has been ongoing and has been overlapping the other Seals, and has been intensifying.)

The 6th Tribulation Seal  from Revelation 6 verses 12 through 14, as compared to Matthew 24, verse 29, Cosmic disturbances, blood moon, darkened sun. (The Opening of the 6th Tribulation Seal is the beginning of the SEVEN YEARS OF GREAT TRIBULATION, also known as Daniel’s 70th Week, and is yet to occur. It will be The BEGINNING OF the 7 years of THE GREAT TRIBULATION period, also known as The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord or the Wrath of the Lamb.) These first 6 Seals will be followed by ‘a silence in heaven for half an hour’, while these 3 events occur:

  • Sealing of the 144,000 during the 6th Seal. (Revelation 7, verses 1 through 8).
  • The gathering and The Rapture of God’s Elect. (Matthew 24, verses 29 through 31).
  • Multitude from the tribulation before the Throne of God. (Revelation 7, verses 9 through 17).

The foregoing events are followed by the breaking of the 7th Tribulation Seal; then the Great and Terrible Day of The Lord begins with the sounding of the 7 Tribulation Trumpets. (the 6th Trumpet is the mid-point of the Great Tribulation); and finally The Wrath of The Lamb through the pouring out of the 7 Bowls of Wrath.

DOUBT NOT – A Prophecy

Hear these urgent, prophetic Words of Jesus.

It seems we have been so inculcated by the thoughts, ideas, views and ways of the world, that our Christian thought has become muddled and mixed with error. This is fatal for a Christian. We cannot walk in the Spirit of God and see the power and presence of God in our lives if we spend our days, lingering in the world.

I would go as far to say, we have lost our way. We no longer run from sinful images or displays. We no longer shun evil.

We drink it in by what we watch on TV and at the movies. We revel in it by what we read, think and say. We consider the “old time religion” as too strict and legalistic. So, we stain ourselves with the sin of doubt and blur our vision with double-mindedness. We doubt.

The Apostle and disciple, James, warns us that we “must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

The Bible tells us instead, and yes, commands us, doubt not and to “have the mind in us which is also in Christ Jesus”. It is the only way.

Jesus tells us that we must not doubt.

Strong’s concordance (#1252) definition of DOUBT: (diakrino), means to

1) to separate, make a distinction, discriminate, to prefer

2) to be at variance with one’s self, hesitate, doubt

When it comes to God’s Word, we cannot make distinctions or discriminate or show preferences based on what we have learned from the world around us or by our life experiences. We cannot withdraw from doing God’s Word nor dispute what we must do in obedience to Him. We cannot be at variance with ourselves, nor hesitate or doubt in what God tells us we must do.

The world is against Christ and the world is teaching us to make up our own minds without regard to what God tells us. And as a result, our minds are being transformed by the world, by the media, by television programming, by the filth in the movies, by anti-God magazines, by hate mongering politics and more.

This is nothing new:

“Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from [a]any tree of the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’” The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! 5 For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”  (Genesis 3:1).

The serpent told Eve to make up her own mind based on what she saw and thought according to the world around her. She gave the same advice to Adam, and they both ate, “and their eyes were opened.”

And they died. And, all humankind died.

Death manifested as a life ending natural death, followed by the horrors of spiritual death and eternal separation from God.

The serpent has been telling us, since the beginning, that we surly will not die. He continues to tell us the same lie, today.

And, we are dying. Our faith is dying, our witness is dying, our Spiritual walk is dying. Morality is dying, families and relationships are dying, and true wisdom is all but dead.

We take part in immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, every day. God has warned that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

This is the method of the Evil One. He is working to change our minds about God. He is telling us, “You surely will not die!”

But, God says for us to “wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

He is crouching at the door; and his desire is for you – but you must master him.”

DOUBT NOT.

Matthew 21:21–22, “And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. “And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

This is not just a “memory verse”. This is not a method or a program for success. This is not knowledge for knowledge’s sake.

This is the Word of Life. It is the Flesh and Blood of Jesus. Consume it. Drink it in.

We must practice the Presence and the Word of God, every waking minute, if we are going to do what God has commanded.

You and I must separate ourselves from this world at every chance. Turn off the news. Put down the newspapers. Turn off the television. Avert your glance from all that is evil or full of dissension.

We can and must retake the lost territories. Listen to the LORD. Here is how:

Joshua 1:3-8 “Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses.  From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory.  “No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. “Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. “Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.”

If you are able, join me in a 30-day Spiritual diet of God and His Word. Start by rejecting the evil thoughts and images of this world. Do this until you can go for ONE MINUTE without dwelling a negative or evil thoughts.

If an errant thought come to your mind, quickly cast it out and turn your mind, thoughts and words to Jesus.

Do this until you successfully complete ONE MINUTE.

Then go for TEN MINUTES.

Then, go for ONE HOUR.

Then, go for, ONE WEEK.

Then, make it for, THIRTY DAYS.

The results will astound you.

Remembering that God has said that, “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.”

This is something we can do, now. This is what God is willing for us to do, now.

Doubt Not

Ask in Prayer

Believe

Receive

WHERE IS THE UNITED STATES IN THE BIBLE?

IS THE UNITED STATES MENTIONED IN SCRIPTURES?

I have heard, over and over, that the United States, the greatest power and the wealthiest nation ever on the face of the earth, is nowhere to be found in end times prophecies. There are some Bible teachers who speculate that there may be some coded mention of America and there are speculations as to why and how such a world power could just disappear, but factually, the United States seems to have been omitted from Biblical history.

If you consider what is driving the current weakening and demise of America’s political, social, educational, religious, monetary, financial and legal systems, you might conclude there is a deliberate and systematic dismantling of the United States as a sovereign nation and as a world superpower. A programmed dismantling and absorption of the United States into a homogenous entity of nations and peoples by powers, both internal and abroad.

Before I reveal the sources of this anti-American, anti-United States dissolution effort, allow me to go back in time to the first recognizable effort to dissolve national borders and to merge all the people of the world into a Global Government in an effort to enable humankind to achieve things once thought impossible.

The date was around 2242 B.C., the event was the building of The Tower of Babel. It was a post-Flood rebellion against God by Noah’s descendants. As told about in Genesis 11:1-9, it is meant to explain why the world’s peoples speak different languages. According to the account, a united humanity in the generations following the Great Flood, speaking a single language and migrating eastward, comes to the land of Shinar. There, they agree to build a city and a tower tall enough to reach heaven.

(NOTE: “tall enough to reach to heaven” can be a metaphor for “man reaching to heaven, making himself god, to accomplish his own desires. This is the ‘Utopian dream’ of the Socialist and Communist manifestos; the State being our god – from cradle to grave)

This initial effort to unite into a global community, which occurred about 100 years after ‘The Great Flood’, was a prophetic harbinger or a ‘forecast’ of what was to come. There have been repeated attempts by various nations and dictators, over the last 4,200 years of world history to conquer, unite and to ‘rule the world’.

The United Nations, U.N.E.S.C.O., and the World Economic Forum in the late 20th century and the early 21st century, however, united in a Globalist Movement. Then, with the creation of ICLEI they found the necessary resources and garnered the support and cooperation of over 2,500 local and regional governments in 125+ countries worldwide, to promote a Marxists-style One World Government.

The ICLEI, (formerly known as the ‘International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives’) is one of the sub-organizations of the United Nations which sprang from the Agenda 2030. This international association was established when more than 200 local governments from 43 countries convened at its inaugural conference, the World Congress of Local Governments for a Sustainable Future, at the United Nations in New York in September 1990.

Then, thanks to the likes of UNESCO’s first Director-General Julian Huxley, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, The World Economic Forum’s Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab and to past Presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush, operations of this Globalist cabal through the ICLEI progressively embedded 252 local offices in American cities, towns, and local and state governments. (That number, as of January 2024, has now grown to 339 locales in the U.S.), promoting the agenda, goals and initiatives of the United Nation’s Agenda 2030 of Global Marxism. This takeover of America by Global Marxists and Marxist-leaning American political democrats has been hidden in plain sight for the last seventy-five years. Promoting false, misleading and ostensibly unobtainable goals, objectives and methods, they have gained a worldwide momentum over the last twenty-five years. All of these worthy sounding goals have appealed to people on every continent. But none of their promised gains have come into reality.

The same has continued and progressed under America Democrat party leadership and various Leftists posing as Republican politicians, supported by a hard Leftist media, Leftist business community and their Leftist financiers.

The results, are becoming apparent: more poverty, government expansion, loss of personal freedoms, an increase in dependence on government in every aspect of life, an increase of new strains of disease, and a new class of political elitism which is choking out the middle-class in America.

Now, thanks to what I shall call a traitorous coup de tat, under the Joe Biden administration, the results of “Bidenomics” and the I.C.L.E.I.’s “Sustainable development” is in full bloom and has come into full view:

The destruction and loss of American Uniqueness.

The destruction and loss of the American tradition and legacy.

The destruction of the family.

Transgenderism, homosexuality, denial of marriage vows, single parent families, death by abortion and euthanasia.

The destruction of our social order.

Lawlessness, uncontrolled, illegal and unmanageable immigration, legalization of drug use, promotion of perversion.

The destruction of our Legal System.

Abrogation of our laws.

The destruction of our Constitution.

The compromise and destruction of our court systems.

The infiltration and compromise of our Religious Institutions.

The raiding and bankrupting of our National Treasury.

Unsustainable national debt.

Fraudulent climate initiative’ costs.

The bankrupting and destruction of our healthcare system.

So, where do we go from here? Turn to God and become a sojourner, an alien in a foreign land, help yourself, your family and others to find true purpose in this life and the life which is to come. (Please see, “Not Of This World”).

PROPHECY WATCH – Wars and Rumors of War – The Dragon, The Woman and The Child

The news of the day is the heinous attacks on innocents in Israel by the demonic terrorists, Hamas, in Gaza. There is speculation swirling in the smoke and columns of fire from the rocket attacks that this could be the ‘beginning of the end’ as prophesied in scriptures (The Last Days).

The swift, decisive and appropriately violent response by Israel would make it seem that this will at least be the end of Hamas as a terror group, and should send a strong message to Iran and other terrorist states.  But if this unprovoked attack and murder of innocent men, women, children and babies spreads, it could begin to look like prophecies regarding Israel and the End of Days are coming to pass.

There are events, however, which must take place to confirm or disprove these kinds of speculations, but this could very well the precursor or harbinger, of things to come.

Revelation 12:1-17

The Woman

“A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was pregnant, and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth.

The “woman” represents Israel.  According to Joseph’s dream (Genesis 37:9-11), the sun represented Jacob, the moon represented Joseph’s mother Rachel, and the eleven stars were the sons of Israel which bowed down to Joseph. In this sign with twelve stars, Joseph is now among the other tribes of Israel.

The Child is Jesus. The pain described refers to the travail of Israel at the time of Jesus’ birth (under Roman occupation and oppression).

The Red Dragon, Satan

Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven crowns. And his tail *swept away a third of the stars of heaven and hurled them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her Child.

A red dragon “symbolically suggests” an actual person will come to power on earth, with fierce power and a murderous nature.  This is a picture of the complete evil with hideous strength.”

The revived Roman Empire is in view, here.  The seven heads and ten horns refer to the original ten kingdoms of which three were subdued by the little horn of Daniel 7:8, who is to be identified with the world ruler of the great tribulation who reigns over the revived Roman Empire.”

Seven diadems on his heads: This dragon (person and political power) had great power (seven heads and ten horns) and claimed royal authority (seven diadems). The crowns represent his presumptive claims of royal authority against the true King.

His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven: Many believe this describes one-third of the angelic host in league with Satan (his angels of Revelation 12:9). This army of angelic beings in league with Satan makes up the world of demonic spirits.

The Male Child, Christ

And she gave birth to a Son, a male, who is going to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her Child was caught up to God and to His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that there [c]she would be nourished for 1,260 days.

A male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron refers to Jesus Christ, the Messiah. He rules the world with a rod of iron (Psalm 2:9 and Revelation 19:15) refers to the triumphant return of Jesus.  By stating the starting point and ending point of Jesus’ earthly work, John alluded to all that stood in between.

After a conflict with the Prince of this world (Satan and his evil accomplices), who came and tried Him, but found nothing in Him, the Son of the woman (Jesus the Christ) was taken up to heaven and sat on the right hand of God (Ephesians 1:20).  Words can hardly be plainer than these.

“She would be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days” is a reference to a three and one-half year period connects these events with the final seven years of the Daniel 9 prophecy.  Since Revelation 12:5 describes the ascension of Jesus, and Revelation 12:6 describes yet-to-occur events in the 70th week of Daniel, between these two verses lies hundreds of years sometimes known as the “Age of Grace” (our current period).

The Angel, Michael

And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, and they did not prevail, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,

“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. For this reason, rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”

And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time, times, and half a time, away from the presence of the serpent. And the serpent hurled water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon had hurled out of his mouth. So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. 

Around the mid-point and concluding near the end of the Great Tribulation period, (from the 7th Tribulation Trumpet to the 7th Tribulation Bowl of Wrath), God will turn the tide against Satan – first in heaven, then on earth.  The formation of that battle is already taking place and it will deny Satan access to heaven.

 THE RETURN OF JESUS & THE END OF THE AGE – compared to Matthew 24

Matthew 24:15-28, “So when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION [the appalling sacrilege that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains [for refuge]. Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things that are in his house [because there will not be enough time]. Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his coat. And woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! Pray that your flight [from persecution and suffering] will not be in winter, or on a Sabbath [when Jewish laws prohibit travel]. For at that time there will be a great tribulation (pressure, distress, oppression), such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will [again]. And if those days [of tribulation] had not been cut short, no human life would be saved; but for the sake of the elect (God’s chosen ones) those days will be shortened. Then if anyone says to you [during the great tribulation], ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and they will provide great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones). Listen carefully, I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there, or, ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms [of a house],’ do not believe it. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming [in glory] of the Son of Man [everyone will see Him clearly]. Wherever the corpse is, there the [e]vultures will flock together.”

The Return of Christ

Luke 21:25-28, “There will be signs (attesting miracles) in the sun and moon and stars; and on the earth [there will be] distress and anguish among nations, in perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea and the waves, people fainting from fear and expectation of the [dreadful] things coming on the world; for the [very] powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with [transcendent, overwhelming] power [subduing the nations] and with great glory. Now when these things begin to occur, stand tall and lift up your heads [in joy], because [suffering ends as] your redemption is drawing near.”

Matthew 24:29-31, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT PROVIDE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And at that time the sign of the Son of Man [coming in His glory] will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth [and especially Israel] will mourn [regretting their rebellion and rejection of the Messiah], and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN with power and great glory [in brilliance and splendor]. And He will send His angels with A LOUD TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect (God’s chosen ones) from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

WARS AND RUMORS OF WAR – THE COMING INVASION OF ISRAEL?

WHO ARE THE ‘PLAYERS’?

When we see this invasion of Israel by the joint forces of Russia, Iran and her proxies, forces from Turkey, the Republic of Georgia, Ethiopia, Libya and Northern Africa, and the Caucuses, we can know this time has come. This is when God will intervene

Luke 21:20 tells us, “when you see Jerusalem surrounded by [hostile] armies, then understand [with confident assurance] that her (Israel’s) complete destruction is near.”

We can see who these hostile invading armies are, by reading Ezekiel chapter 38:1,

“And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Verse 2. “Son of man, set your face against Gog of the land of Magog (current day Russia),the chief ruler of Meshech (southern Russia and Ukraine and possibly the Republic of Georgia) and Tubal (central Turkey), and prophesy against him,

Verse 3, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief ruler of Meshech and Tubal.

These are the 10 Nation Confederation to watch, (THE HEADS), of the BEAST Ezekiel 38, of Daniel 7,9 and Revelation 17. All are Islamic, the Center of which is MECCA:    

Nation #1. Gog:  A Reubenite, son of Shemaiah, the prophetic prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and Magog. Gog is identified as a descendant of the prophet Joel, and in Ezekiel 38–39, he is the chief prince of the tribes of Meshech and Tubal in the land of Magog, the mountainous region between Cappadocia and Media (Russia.).

 Nation #2. Magog:  The 2nd son of Japheth, grandson of Noah, and progenitor of several tribes northward from Israel; the mountainous region between Cappadocia and Media and habitation of the descendants of Magog, son of Japheth and grandson of Noah. (Russia.)

Nation #3. Rosh:  “the Prince of Rosh” is Asiatic Russia receives confirmation from the Imperial Dictionary. “Evidence exists of an ancient people called Rosh, or Rhos, supposed to be the original stem from which the Russia or modern Russians have derived their race and name.” The scholar, Bishop Lowther says: “Rosh, taken as a proper name, in Ezekiel, signifies the inhabitants of Scythia, from whom modern Russians derived their name. We must conclude therefore, that Ezekiel’s “episode of Gog’s invasion” (A. B. Davidson) points irrefutably and undeniably to the Russians.

Nation #4. Meschach:  Was a Chaldean. The Chaldeans inhabited the coastal area near the Persian Gulf. About 630 Nabopolassar became king of the Chaldeans and in 626 he forced the Assyrians out of Uruk and crowned himself king of Babylonia. Modern day Turkey.

Nation #5. Tubal:  a region in east Asia Minor, perhaps nearly equal to Cappadocia

Nation #6. Persia:  Iran

Nation #7. Cush (Ethiopia):  located on either side or both sides of the Red Sea. As such, “Cush” is alternately identified in scripture with the Kingdom of Kush or ancient Ethiopia.

Nation #8. Put (Libya):  Ancient Libya. In this sense, Libya was the whole known African continent to the west of the Nile Valley and extended south of Egypt. Herodotus described the inhabitants of Libya as two peoples: The Libyans in northern Africa and the Ethiopians in the south.

Nation #9. Gomer:  (was the wife of the prophet Hosea (8th century BC), mentioned in the Hebrew Bible‘s Book of Hosea (1:3). Hosea 1:2 refers to her alternatively as a “promiscuous woman” (NIV), a “harlot” (NASB), and a “whore” (KJV) but Hosea is told to marry her according to Divine appointment. She is also described as the daughter of Diblaim.) The Hebrew name Gomer refers to the Cimmerians, who dwelt in what is now southern Russia, “beyond the Caucusus”, and attacked Assyria in the late 7th century BC.

Nation #10. Beth-Togarmah:  Togarmah is a city mentioned in Assyrian and Hittite texts. It was north of Carchemish on an Assyrian trade route. It may be related to modern Gurun between the Halys and Euphrates Rivers. (Georgia, Chechnya, Turkey/Armenia.)

Because of the length and complexity of the scriptures regarding the invasion of Israel in the Last Days from the book of The Revelation, I will simply recap these events by linking to the appropriate verses, and a detailed commentary with videos by Zion’s Hope (David Rosenthal) at the end of this page..

Just know that the destruction of the Antichrist, the beast and their invading armies and demonic forces will be thoroughly defeated and cast into the eternal lake of fire (Revelation 16 through 20) after the 7th Tribulation Bowl is poured out.

It is also worthy to note that there is some ‘controversy’ or discussion about the “2nd Coming” or the SECOND ADVENT of Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:29-31 (and similarly in Luke 21) record these words, “But immediately after the tribulation of those days (it is important to note the words ‘immediately after the tribulation OF THOSE DAYS’), THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET BLAST, and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.”   This is clearly Jesus appearing, which will occur after the 5th Tribulation Seal and at the moment of the breaking of the 6th Tribulation Seal and is spoken of in the future tense. By all appearances we are well into the 5th Tribulation Seal and are very near the 6th Seal, so the ‘future tense’ of this verse can easily be considered to be from this day (10/11/2023) until His appearing – which could be immanent.

Then, in Revelation 19:11-16 we read, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Many commentators believe these verses describe the 2nd Advent of Christ. But clearly, taking Matthew 24:29-31 into account, this would be a THIRD advent, which would be incorrect. This is NOT a new advent or a new coming of Christ, but it is Jesus, who has already returned to gather His Elect (Matthew 24:31) and is seen sitting on horse, judging and waging war against the nations!

CONCLUSION – THE LONG VIEW

The events of the “Last Days” began as early as the birth and/or the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus, as reported by Jesus and the Apostles Paul, Peter and Timothy in or around 2 B.C. through A.D. 95, and found in:

These events will conclude at the end of the pouring out of the Tribulation Bowls at the end of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION period, the Great and Terrible Day of The Lord.

We are seeing clear and distinct signs of the final days before His return and the beginning of the Great Tribulation. If you are His disciple, you do not need to be afraid. He is your protector. Your weapons and shield are the words of your testimony and the Blood of the Lamb.

When the time comes, He will give you words of wisdom to say, which no one can resist. Be brave and courageous.

If you have not already, now is the time, now is the day of your salvation. Turn to Jesus in humble submission and exchange your life for His, today – this moment. Find your peace, safety, sanctuary and salvation in Him!

If you have already given yourself and your life to God by His grace and through faith in Jesus, now is the time to complete your calling.

Do not wait for others to do the work of your calling – not the preacher, pastor, deacon, elder or friend. It is your calling and your joy to serve the Living God today.

YOU, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Jesus, believe in Him, and obey His words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that He has commanded you; and lo, He is with you always [remaining with you perpetually–regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

The news of the day is the heinous attacks on innocents in Israel by the demonic terrorists, Hamas in Gaza. There is speculation swirling in the smoke and columns of fire from the rocket attacks that this could be the ‘beginning of the end’ as prophesied in scriptures (The Last Days).

The swift, decisive and appropriatley violent response by Israel would make it seem that this will at least be the end of Hamas as a terror group, and should send a strong message to Iran and other terrorist states.  But if this unprovoked attack and murder of innocent men, women, children and babies spreads, it could begin to look like prophecies regarding Israel and the End of Days are coming to pass.

There are events, however, which must take place to confirm of disprove these kinds of speculations, but this could very well the precursor or harbinger, of things to come.

Comparing the correlating verses from Luke chapter 21 and Matthew chapter 24 we can get a clearer view of prophesied events of the Last Days, specifically targeting similar events in the Middle East and Israel.

Luke chapter 21 and Matthew chapter 24 give us a look at the events leading up to the breaking of the 6th Tribulation Seal, which is the beginning of the SEVEN YEARS of the Great Tribulation – also known as Daniel’s Seventieth Week – The Great and Terrible Day of The Lord.

They asked Him, (Jesus), “Teacher, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign when these things are about to happen?” He said, “Be careful and see to it that you are not misled; for many will come in My name (acting as if they are Me or pretending to act on my behalf as leaders of religious organizations calling themselves ‘The Church’), [appropriating for themselves the name (and the authority of) Messiah which belongs to Me alone], saying, ‘I am He,’ (thereby implying and acting in a way that says ‘I have the authority of Jesus as given by His Father’) and, ‘The time is near!’ Do not follow them. When you hear of wars and disturbances [civil unrest, revolts, uprisings], do not panic; for these things must take place first, but the end will not come immediately.”

Matthew 24:1-5, (Amplified Bible Version – annotated): “Jesus left the temple area and was going on His way when His disciples came up to Him to call His attention to the [magnificent and massive] buildings of the temple. And He said to them, “Do you see all these things? I assure you and most solemnly say to you, not one stone here will be left on another, which will not be torn down.”

While Jesus was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, and said, “Tell us, when will this [destruction of the temple] take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end (completion, consummation) of the age?”

Things to Come

Luke 21:10-11, “Then Jesus told them, “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be violent earthquakes, and in various places famines and [deadly and devastating] pestilences (plagues, epidemics); and there will be terrible sights and great signs from heaven.

(Note: Jesus spoke these prophetic words in the future tense in or around A.D. 30. So, although there have always been wars, conflicts, earthquakes, famines, plagues and epidemics, they will greatly increase in their frequency and intensity and Ezekiel 38 describes the crescendo of these events.

Jesus pinpoints the season of these events as He links them with the words, “and there will be terrible sights and great signs from heaven” which is a direct link to the breaking of the 6th Tribulation Seal, which is the beginning of the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord and the Wrath of the Lamb – marking the 70th Week of Daniel and the beginning of the final SEVEN YEARS of THE TRIBULATION: THE SIXTH and SEVENTH SEAL of The Great Tribulation, The SEVEN TRUMPET  JUDGEMENTS and The SEVEN  BOWLS OF WRATH.)

Luke 21:25-28, “There will be signs (attesting miracles) in the sun and moon and stars; and on the earth [there will be] distress and anguish among nations, in perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea and the waves, people fainting from fear and expectation of the [dreadful] things coming on the world; for the [very] powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with [transcendent, overwhelming] power [subduing the nations] and with great glory. Now when these things begin to occur, stand tall and lift up your heads [in joy], because [suffering ends as] your redemption is drawing near.”

 WARS AND RUMORS OF WAR – THE COMING INVASION OF ISRAEL?

WHO ARE THE ‘PLAYERS’?

When we see this invasion of Israel by the joint forces of Russia, Iran and her proxies, forces from Turkey, the Republic of Georgia, Ethiopia, Libya and Northern Africa, and the Caucuses, we can know this time has come. This is when God will intervene

Luke 21:20 tells us, “when you see Jerusalem surrounded by [hostile] armies, then understand [with confident assurance] that her (Israel’s) complete destruction is near.”

Then, in Revelation 19:11-16 we read, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Many commentators believe these verses describe the 2nd Advent of Christ. But clearly, taking Matthew 24:29-31 into account, this would be a THIRD advent, which would be incorrect. This is NOT a new advent or a new coming of Christ, but it is Jesus, who has already returned to gather His Elect (Matthew 24:31) and is seen sitting on horse, judging and waging war against the nations!

CONCLUSION – THE LONG VIEW

The events of the “Last Days” began as early as the birth and/or the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus, as reported by Jesus and the Apostles Paul, Peter and Timothy in or around 2 B.C. through A.D. 95, and found in:

These events will conclude at the end of the pouring out of the Tribulation Bowls at the end of the SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION period, the Great and Terrible Day of The Lord.

We are seeing clear and distinct signs of the final days before His return and the beginning of the Great Tribulation. If you are His disciple, you do not need to be afraid. He is your protector. Your weapons and shield are the words of your testimony and the Blood of the Lamb.

When the time comes, He will give you words of wisdom to say, which no one can resist. Be brave and courageous.

If you have not already, now is the time, now is the day of your salvation. Turn to Jesus in humble submission and exchange your life for His, today – this moment. Find your peace, safety, sanctuary and salvation in Him!

If you have already given yourself and your life to God by His grace and through faith in Jesus, now is the time to complete your calling.

Do not wait for others to do the work of your calling – not the preacher, pastor, deacon, elder or friend. It is your calling and your joy to serve the Living God today.

YOU, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Jesus, believe in Him, and obey His words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that He has commanded you; and lo, He is with you always [remaining with you perpetually–regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

What is REALLY Going On – in the Sixth Seal in Revelation 7?

  • Where is this great multitude?
  • saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
  • saying, “Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

Where did this great multitude come from?

  • “Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?”
  • “I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
  • “For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. “They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; 17for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

      • All of these final events have culminated with the elect of God having been raptured before the Throne of God and in their eternal home, God’s Eternal Tabernacle.

Seal 7: Revelation – SILENCE IN HEAVEN for half an hour, SEVEN ANGELS and SEVEN TRUMPETS, PEALS OF THUNDER, SOUNDS AND FLASHES OF LIGHTENING AND AN EARTHQUAKE.

What is REALLY Going On – in the Seventh Seal in Matthew 24?

Silence. (Jesus will continue in Matthew with instruction of recognizing the times and days, preparing for these Last Days and the Blessings and Consequences for not preparing ahead of time – preparing NOW!

  • The scene now moves to the heavens (see Revelation chapter 8).

 

What is REALLY Going On – in the Seventh Seal in Revelation 8?

  • Revelation 8:1-2, “When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
    • A lull in the cosmic and terrestrial storms.
    • 7 angels standing BEFORE GOD and 7 trumpets are given to them. (These are the 7 trumpets of judgment).
  •  Revelation 8:3-5, “Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

THE SIGNS OF CHRIST’S RETURN

There are testimonies, warnings and plain statements regarding at time in the Bible known as the Last Days or the End of the Age. For example, Jesus gives us an account of the Last Days and The End of the Age from two distinct perspectives. We need to look at a Biblical comparison and correlation of The Seals of the Tribulation as seen in the book of Matthew and correlated with the book of The Revelation (1). So we can know the sequence of these events that may be prepared and ready at all times. (2). It is also important so that we will not be taken by surprise or frightened and lose focus and composure; (3). It is also a reminder that we are to inform and warn others of the present and coming judgements. To Wit:

  • Matthew 24:1-5 tells us, “As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
  • Revelation 1:1-3, which was written around A.D. 95 says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place ; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, everything that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.”

  • Verse 4. John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is, and who was, and who [c]is to come, and from the [d]seven spirits who are before His throne, verse 5, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— verse 6, and He made us into a kingdom, priests to [e]His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Verse 7. BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

These words were written sometime around A.D. 90. Over 1,900 years have passed since this prophecy was written, and according to the God-breathed and Holy Spirit inspired Word of God. The first ‘contradiction’, if that is possible, is if these were ‘to soon take place’.

(Please Note: Many protestant denominations will interpret Revelation 1:7 as being fulfilled in Revelation 19:11 as “Jesus’ Second coming’. It is important, when establishing a Biblical timeline, to get the chronology right. Please compare Matthew 24:30 and Revelation 19:11

Matthew 24:30-31, “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.”

And,

Matthew 24:30, is when the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory will occur at the beginning of the 7-year period of the Great Tribulation period. This is when Jesus will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY 2ND ADVENT – AND THE GATHERING (rapture) OF HIS ELECT (CHOSEN).

Revelation 19:11, is when the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war is to occur at the end of the Bowls of Wrath, which is at the end of the 7-year Great tribulation period. This is when Jesus ‘judges and wages war’. JESUS HAS ALREADY RETURNED AND GATHERED HIS ELECT (HIS CHOSEN) AND IS NOW DEFEATING THE BEAST, THE ANTICHRIST AND ALL WHO RELIEVED THE MARK OF THE BEAST, and is casting them into the lake of fire.

Jesus and these same disciples testified that these present and coming prophetic judgments and events may have already begun. in or around A.D. 30, calling them “events of These Last Days”: 

  • Hebrews 1:2, “but in these last days He (God) has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.” 

(This was written by the Apostle Paul, is written in the present tense, in or around the year A.D. 70 and is referred to as these last days ).

  • Hebrews 9:26, “For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own, for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, He (Christ) has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.”

(These events were occuring in or around A.D. 30. The book of Hebrews is written by the Apostle Paul, and is written in the past and present tense, in or around A.D. 70 and is referred to as the end of the ages.)

  • Acts 2:14-17, “But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words. For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel:

“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams.”

(This occurred in or around A.D. 60 and as written in the past and present tense, by Peter the Apostle, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and is referred to as  being ‘in the last days’).

  • 2 Timothy 3:1,“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.‘

(This was written by the Apostle Timothy, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, in or around the year A.D. 67, was written in the present tense and is referred to as being ‘in the last days‘.)

  • 1 Peter 1:20-21, “ He (Jesus) was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.”

(This is written in the past tense was recorded in or around A.D. 90, and is referred to, by the Apostle Peter, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit as being ‘in the last times ‘.)

  • 1 Peter 4:7, “The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

(This is written in the past tense was recorded in or around A.D. 90, and is referred to, by the Apostle Peter, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit as being ‘the end of all things‘.)

  • 2 Peter 3:3, “Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires.

(This is written in the future tense as a testimony about. things that were already beginning to occur, and was recorded in or around A.D. 90. This is referred to, by the Apostle Peter, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit as being ‘in the last days‘.)

  • 1 John 2:18, “Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have (already) come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.“

(This is written in the present tense was recorded in or around A.D. 90, and is referred to, by the Apostle John, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit as referred to as being in ‘the last hour‘.)

  • Matthew 24:29-31, ““But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.”

(This is written in the future tense was recorded in or around A.D. 70, and is referred to, by the Apostle Matthew, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit as referred to as being in ‘after the tribulation of those days’ , speaking of the tribulation of those days already referred to (above here.)

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

It is important because this illustrates the correct timeline and timing of these events. ‘NOT THE DAY NOR THE HOUR’, because no one knows the exact day or hour, not even Jesus, but the Father alone knows. But, this does give us an accurate description of the fig tree: “as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near;. (Matthew 24:32)

It is important because we must be mentally, physically and spiritually of and ready for the things that are upon us so we do not faint or fall away.

It is important because the context, the uses and meanings of these various words which refer to Tribulation affect our attitudes and our motivation for GETTING and STAYING READY for His return. They also affect our view of the timing of the coming Tribulation and the Great Tribulation.

WHY DOES IT MATTER?

Why does it matter “when” the tribulation starts or “when” Christians are to be raptured into the heavens?

It matters because being ready for His Return is proof of True Christianity, and only a True Believer in Christ will be guaranteed to join Christ at the sound of His Great Trumpet call and escape the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.

It matters because being ready requires believing and doing what He has instructed us to do in preparation for His return.

It matters because He has warned that “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’

It matters because many Christians are sitting idly waiting for an event that has already begun and they are not DOING what He told them to do and therefore are in grave danger.

It matters because some of our family, friends and neighbors are completely unaware or just don’t believe that Christ will return and God’s final judgments will sentence them to outer darkness.

It matters because as Christians, our faith, our convictions and our behaviors
are speaking louder than our words – and if we truly believe these things are coming to pass – we need to be getting ready

Finally, there is are two huge misconceptions or misunderstanding and in some churches, a false teaching that (#1), the Rapture will occur before the appearing of the Antichrist.

HOWEVER, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8 clearly says, “Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit, or a message, or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. No one is to deceive you in any way! For it  (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.”

And (#2), the second big misconception is that the ‘mark of the beast’ will be given and this will occur prior to the rapture, when at that time no one will be able to buy or sell without that mark’.

However, Revelation 3:16-17 says, He will “cause all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.” Therefore, the Antichrist gives his ‘mark’ after the Seal Judgments, after the Rapture, and just after the 6th Tribulation Trumpet Judgment and at the blowing of 7th Trumpet Judgment – which is the Mid-Point of the Great Tribulation – which is after three and one half years of the final 7 years of the Great Tribulation period.

I mention these two misconceptions because they are included in the chronology of the last days.

DO YOU LIKE SECRETS? HERE IS A GOOD ONE.

Speaking for myself, if I allow myself to listen to the words of the world through other people, or through the news media and television , I find that I begin to doubt and worry.

I am continually hearing of wars and rumors of wars. I try not to be frightened, for I know that these things must take place, and although the time is near, I know that it is not yet the end of the age.

Nations are rising against nations, and kingdoms against kingdoms, and there are increasing famines and earthquakes (and they are telling us the earth is heating up, on the verge of a climatological disaster) in many and various places.

The Bible tells me that these things are ‘the beginning of birth pangs’, that is the intolerable anguish and the time of unprecedented trouble which is yet to come, (judgements of God on a sinful world).

There are many have come and who are now coming in the name of Jesus, misusing His Name, and appropriating the strength of the name which belongs to Him, saying or implying, ‘I am the Christ, or I am speaking on behalf of the Jesus,’ and they are misleading many.  

We have been warned that those who hate God, will subject us who are Christians over to ridicule and persecution and to endure tribulation, and they will even put some of us to death.

The Bible says that we will be hated by all nations because of the Name of Jesus. We are already at the time that many are being offended and repelled by our association with Jesus. And many who have falsely claimed to be Christians are falling away from Jesus’ teachings, the very One they should trust, and are betraying one another, and reporting  believers to those who work against the ways of God and the Bible, the ones who persecute us and hate everyone who believes in Jesus Christ.

Many false prophets are already appearing and are misleading many within the Church. Lawlessness has increased and continues to get worse, and the love of many people toward others is growing cold. (Please see Matthew 24:5-12 regarding the above.)

HERE IS THE ‘SECRET’ (in red bold lettering)

Before His crucifixion, Jesus told His disciples,(John 16:16),“In a little while you are no longer are going to see Me; then, again a little later, you will see Me.”

Verse 17. So some of His disciples said to one another, “What is this that He is telling us, ‘In a little while, and you are not going to see Me; and again a little while later you will see Me’; and, ‘because I am going to the Father’?” Verse 18. So, they were saying, “What is this that He says, ‘A little while’? We do not know what He is talking about.” Verse 19. Jesus knew that they wanted to question Him, and He said to them, “Are you deliberating together<mg3326, 240=””> about this, that I said, ‘A little while, and you are not going to see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me’? Verse 20. Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy! Verse 21. Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world. Verse 22. Therefore, you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one is going to take your joy away from you.

(Hint: This is a reference to Jesus’ crucifixion, burial and resurrection.)

Verse 23. And on that day, you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Verse 24. Until now, you have asked for nothing in My name; ask, and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

Verse 25. “These things I have spoken to you in figures of speech; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father. Verse 26. On that day you will ask in My name, and I am not saying to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; verse 27, for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father. Verse 28. I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”

Verse 29, His disciples said, “See, now You are speaking plainly and are not using any figure of speech. Verse 30. Now we know that You know all things, and that You have no need for anyone to question You; this is why we believe that You came forth from God.” Verse 31. Jesus replied to them, “Do you now believe? Verse 32. Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

Verse 33. “These things I have spoken to you so that, in Me, you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

What has happened? Suffice it to say, for now, that this is no longer metaphors or figures of speech. It is a mystery for we who believe that enables us, too, to live assured of victory in and over all circumstances. As outlandish and as outrageously bold as this statement sounds, it is exactly what Jesus is telling you.

THE SECRET REVEALED – THE MYSTERY SOLVED

Read what Paul says in Ephesians 1:18, “I pray that the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, verse 19, and what is the boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might verse 20, which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, verse 21, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, Not only in this age but also in the one to come.  

Verse 22. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and made Him head over all things to the church, verse 23, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all  (believers).

Ephesians 2:4, “But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, verse 5, even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace–His undeserved favor and mercy–you have been saved from God’s judgement).

Verse 6. And He has raised us up together with Him [when we believed], AND HE SEATED US WITH HIM IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES, in Christ Jesus,

We are Join-Heirs with Christ. If you don’t understand this, or if you don’t believe it, you are missing your full inheritance.

The Harlot – The Beast – 7 Heads and 10 Horns

I know this is a difficult subject and a ‘tough read’. So, I will begin and end with…

“SO, WHAT”?

The Bible calls this a mystery for good reason. (NOTE: – At this point, the 7 Seal Judgements are finished and the Church is with Christ, before the Throne of God in heaven) But, in Revelation 17, we read, starting in,

Revelation 17, Verse 1, Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,

verse 2.  “with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality.”

verse 3.  “And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

verse 4.  “The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality,

verse 5.  “and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery,

verse 9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits,

verse 10.  “and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while.

verse 11.  “The beast which was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction.

verse 12. “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.

verse 13. “These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

verse 14.  “These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”

verse 15.  “And he said to me, “The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.

verse 16.  “And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire.”

“SO, WHAT” does this have to do with you or with me?

While scholars may debate some of the fine details of this particular vision, the main points of application seem abundantly clear:

#1. We are crossing the threshold of a Global Transformation – and it does not look good for most people.

#2. By all indicators, God’s prophecy of the End of Days is well under way.

#3. The Bible says events will turn cataclysmic – very soon.

#4. Culture is not neutral. You will have to choose sides by your actions. Talk won’t work.

#5. Satan is boldly walking through the front door of a worldwide governmental alignment, even as I write this.

#6. The devil is encroaching through the backdoor of seduction, idolatry, technology, perverse entertainment and has crept into the church. He is now in the church, deceiving many.

#7. The majority of the Church is either compromised, asleep, ignorant or afraid to engage the enemy.

#8. A remnant is rising at the Voice of God.

#9. God is calling and it is time you and I mobilize and do the Works Jesus has commanded.

#10. Doing nothing, except being nice and “going to church”, assures you of nothing!

To begin with, there are four great signs and events which mark the rise of the Antichrist and the False Prophet, the deception of millions, leading to the End of The Age. These events will affect every single person on this planet. Be informed in order to get ready.

There is much debate and discussion about the identity of

  1. “BABYLON THE GREAT MOTHER OF HARLOTS” – Ezekiel 38.
  2. “THE ABOMINATION OF THE EARTH” – Daniel 7, and Daniel 9.
  3. THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON – Revelation 16.
  4. “THE BEAST WITH SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS” – Revelation 17.

To be clear, this discussion is interesting and is helpful, but generally it has nothing to do with our salvation in Christ. However, knowledge coupled with action will be vital in your preparation, as followers and disciples of Jesus for His return. We are to be about His Work in these Last Days.

First, some of the most popular speculations about the Great Harlot are:

  • The Great Harlot could be Rome (the reemergence of Rome as a power),
  • Or, that even New York City, USA, could be the Great Harlot.
  • One view suggest that the Apostle Peter uses the word “Babylon” as a symbolic way of referring to the new world culture at war with the covenant community. The Whore of Babylon is the spirit of seductive culture, actively engaged in the deception and destruction of God’s people. That she rides upon “the beast” means she is propped up by the forces of anti-Christian government.

Just like the beast, who was, and is not and is about to rise, the “Whore” keeps on rising from the dead! A particular brand of her seductive charm may fall into the dust and be buried by the sands of time, but just you wait! Before you know it, she will rise again in another place, known by another name but waging the same destructive war against God’s covenant people.

Be watchful. What we are discussing are signs, first, of the beginning of the final 7 years of the Great Tribulation, also known as the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord or the Last Days, and secondly, the final three and one-half years. We will know that the time is near by the changing of the ‘seasons’, which is occurring now. (By the way, this is an extremely slow moving storm of cosmic proportions).

Keep a watchful eye on these 10 nations as they align together against, and then for an invasion of Israel. 

  1. Gog, a.k.a., Rosh (Russia) and
  2. Rosh (Russia)
  3. Magog (Russia)
  4. Gomer (Eastern Europe-Southern Russia),
  5. Put (Libya),
  6. Cush (Ethiopia),
  7. Persia (Iran)
  8. Meshech (Southern Russia, *Ukraine and possibly the Republic of Georgia)
  9. Tubal (an area in central Turkey),
  10. Beth-Togarmah (Georgia, Chechnya, Turkey/Armenia)

  When they are aligned and armed against Israel, the End of Days Clock is only seconds from God’s intervention in the defense of Israel and the destruction of Israel’s enemies, the dragon and the beast.

COMMENTARY and VIEW by David Rosenthal at Zion’s Hope:  The 10 Nation Confederation, (THE HEADS), of the BEAST from Ezekiel 38, of Daniel 7,9 and Revelation 17:

Nation #1. Gog:  A Reubenite, son of Shemaiah, the prophetic prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and Magog. Gog is identified as a descendant of the prophet Joel, and in Ezekiel 38–39, he is the chief prince of the tribes of Meshech and Tubal in the land of Magog, the mountainous region between Cappadocia and Media.

Nation #2. Magog:  The 2nd son of Japheth, grandson of Noah, and progenitor of several tribes northward from Israel; the mountainous region between Cappadocia and Media and habitation of the descendants of Magog, son of Japheth and grandson of Noah

Nation #3. Rosh:  “the Prince of Rosh” is Asiatic Russia receives confirmation from the Imperial Dictionary. “Evidence exists of an ancient people called Rosh, or Rhos, supposed to be the original stem from which the Russia or modern Russians have derived their race and name.” The scholar, Bishop Lowther says: “Rosh, taken as a proper name, in Ezekiel, signifies the inhabitants of Scythia, from whom modern Russians derived their name. We must conclude therefore, that Ezekiel’s “episode of Gog’s invasion” (A. B. Davidson) points irrefutably and undeniably to the Russians.

Nation #4. Meschach:  Was a Chaldean. The Chaldeans inhabited the coastal area near the Persian Gulf. About 630 Nabopolassar became king of the Chaldeans and in 626 he forced the Assyrians out of Uruk and crowned himself king of Babylonia. Modern day Turkey.

Nation #5. Tubal:  a region in east Asia Minor, perhaps nearly equal to Cappadocia

Nation #6. Persia:  Iran

Nation #7. Cush (Ethiopia):  located on either side or both sides of the Red Sea. As such, “Cush” is alternately identified in scripture with the Kingdom of Kush or ancient Ethiopia.

Nation #8. Put (Libya):  Ancient Libya. In this sense, Libya was the whole known African continent to the west of the Nile Valley and extended south of Egypt. Herodotus described the inhabitants of Libya as two peoples: The Libyans in northern Africa and the Ethiopians in the south.

Nation #9. Gomer:  (was the wife of the prophet Hosea (8th century BC), mentioned in the Hebrew Bible‘s Book of Hosea (1:3). Hosea 1:2 refers to her alternatively as a “promiscuous woman” (NIV), a “harlot” (NASB), and a “whore” (KJV) but Hosea is told to marry her according to Divine appointment. She is also described as the daughter of Diblaim.) The Hebrew name Gomer refers to the Cimmerians, who dwelt in what is now southern Russia, “beyond the Caucusus”, and attacked Assyria in the late 7th century BC.

Nation #10. Beth-Togarmah:  Togarmah is a city mentioned in Assyrian and Hittite texts. It was north of Carchemish on an Assyrian trade route. It may be related to modern Gurun between the Halys and Euphrates Rivers.

These are the 10 Nation Confederation to watch, (THE HEADS), of the BEAST Ezekiel 38, of Daniel 7,9 and Revelation 17. All are Islamic, the Center of which is MECCA.

LIST from Ezekiel 38 – Original regional names and current national names:

#1 & #2. (#1 and #2 from Previous List). Gog – Gog and Magog appear in the Hebrew Bible and the Quran as individuals, tribes, or lands. In Ezekiel 38, Gog is an individual and Magog is his land; in Genesis 10, Magog is a man and eponymous ancestor of a nation, but no Gog is mentioned; and centuries later Jewish tradition changed Ezekiel’s “Gog from Magog” into “Gog and Magog”.

The Gog prophecy is meant to be fulfilled at the approach of what is called the “end of days“, but not necessarily the end of the world. Jewish eschatology viewed Gog and Magog as enemies to be defeated by the Messiah, which would usher in the age of the Messiah. Christianity’s interpretation is more starkly apocalyptic: making Gog and Magog, here indicating nations rather than individuals, allies of Satan against God at the end of the millennium, as described in the Book of Revelation. #3 & #4. (#4 and #5). Meshech, Tubal:  Meshech (also spelled Meshek) and Tubal were sons of Japheth, one of the three sons of Noah who survived the flood with him (Genesis 10:1–2). Meshech (whose name means “long, tall, or drawn out by force”) is the sixth son of Japheth. The land of Meshech is closely associated with that of Tubal, especially in a prophecy of Ezekiel. The region of Meshech is often identified as being north of the Black Sea (southern Russia and Ukraine and possibly the Republic of Georgia), and Tubal as an area in central Turkey.

The land of Meshech is used in Psalm 120:5 as a generic reference to barbarous regions where “those who hate peace” live (verse 6). The lands where Meshech’s and Tubal’s descendants settled figure significantly in some prophecies of Ezekiel, and it is in that book where they are mentioned most. In the prophecy of Ezekiel 38, Meshech and Tubal are ruled by Gog, a prince over those territories: “The word of the LORD came to me: ‘Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him and say, “Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal”’” (Ezekiel 38:1–3). Ezekiel repeats God’s words of judgment against the descendants of the two sons of Japheth when he prophesies that God will defeat them in a war against Israel (Ezekiel 39:1–5).

Many biblical scholars equate the land of Gog in Ezekiel’s prophecies with Russia, who will attack Israel “from the far north” (Ezekiel 38:15). Meshech and Tubal could be two of the “many nations” joining Russia in their invasion of Israel (verse 6).

The advance of the alliance involving Meshech and Tubal will be like “a cloud covering the land” (Ezekiel 38:9). Some commentators believe this war, often called the Battle of Gog and Magog, will be one of the events leading up to the end-times’ tribulation. Others believe it will occur close to the midpoint of the tribulation, since Israel will feel secure at the time, “dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates” (verse 11).

God will defeat this powerful alliance (Ezekiel 38:22) to reveal His greatness to all the world (verse 23) and restore the people of Israel to a right relationship with Himself (Ezekiel 39:21–29). Meshech and Tubal, despite the strength of their numbers and help of their allies, will fall. (GotQuestions.org)

#5. (#7). Cush: The Kingdom of Kush; Assyrian: was an ancient kingdom in Nubia, centered along the Nile Valley in what is now northern Sudan and southern Egypt.

#6. (#8). Put – Phut or Put is the third son of Ham (one of the sons of Noah), in the biblical Table of Nations (Genesis 10:6; 1 Chronicles 1:8). The name Put (or Phut) is used in the Bible for Ancient Libya, but a few scholars proposed the Land of Punt known from Ancient Egyptian annals.

#7. (#9). Gomer: The Hebrew name Gomer refers to the Cimmerians, who dwelt in what is now southern Russia, “beyond the Caucusus”, and attacked Assyria in the late 7th century BC.

#8. (#10). Beth-togarmah: Togarmah is a figure in the “table of nations” in Genesis 10, the list of descendants of Noah that represents the peoples known to the ancient Hebrews. Togarmah is among the descendants of Japheth and is thought to represent some people located in Anatolia. Medieval sources claimed that Togarmah was the legendary ancestor of several peoples of the Caucasus -including Armenians and Georgians.

 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast: Whatever their exact identity, their actions are clear. They join with the Antichrist in the war against Christ, in the battle alluded to in the sixth and seventh bowls (Revelation 16:12-21).

The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits: The harlot presides over peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. This tells us that the harlot’s influence is worldwide, through her connection to the beast. This will be a truly one-world religion.

The interpretation of the harlot focuses on her relation to the beast: she is utterly connected to the beast and his government. If this sounds unthinkable, remember that throughout history, religion – not true Christianity – has often been the willing servant and supporter of tyrants.

I know this is a difficult subject and a ‘tough read’. So, I have begun with and I will end with…

“SO, WHAT”?

While scholars may debate some of the fine details of this particular vision, the main points of application seem abundantly clear:

#1. We are crossing the threshold of a Global Transformation – and it does not look good for most people.

#2. By all indicators, God’s prophecy of the End of Days is well under way.

#3. The Bible says events will turn cataclysmic – very soon.

#4. Culture is not neutral. You will have to choose sides by your actions. Talk won’t work.

#5. Satan is boldly walking through the front door of a worldwide governmental alignment, even as I write this.

#6. The devil is encroaching through the backdoor of seduction, idolatry, technology, perverse entertainment and has crept into the church. He is now in the church, deceiving many.

#7. The majority of the Church is either compromised, asleep, ignorant or afraid to engage the enemy.

#8. A remnant is rising at the Voice of God.

#9. God is calling and it is time you and I mobilize and do the Works Jesus has commanded.

#10. Doing nothing, except being nice and “going to church”, assures you of nothing!

CONCLUSIONS?

FIRST: The final 7 years of the Great Tribulation, also known as the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord or the Last Days are near. We know this by the change of ‘season’. (By the way, this is an extremely slow moving storm of cosmic proportions).

SECOND: Watch these 10 nations. 

  1. Gog, a.k.a., Rosh (Russia) and
  2. Rosh (Russia)
  3. Magog (Russia)
  4. Gomer (Eastern Europe-Southern Russia),
  5. Put (Libya),
  6. Cush (Ethiopia),
  7. Persia (Iran)
  8. Meshech (Southern Russia, *Ukraine and possibly the Republic of Georgia)
  9. Tubal (an area in central Turkey),
  10. Beth-Togarmah (Georgia, Chechnya, Turkey/Armenia)

When they are aligned and armed against Israel, the End of Days Clock is only seconds from God’s intervention in the defense of Israel and the destruction of Israel’s enemies, the dragon and the beast. (Christians will have been taken from the earth 3.5 years prior, and will already be before His Throne, singing Hallelujahs to the King.

Get Ready. Stay Ready. The struggle is great but the victory is greater!

THE WORDS OF JESUS

Creative, Causative, Prophetic, Instructional – Part 55

“The Parable of the Fig Tree – He is Near”

“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”

The Words of Jesus, Matthew 24:32-35.

These verses, by way of metaphor, give us important instructions about the timing of Jesus return and the end of the age and God’s Eternal nature.

However, you must be able to understand that these words of Jesus are Creative, Causative, Prophetic, Instructional and can only be spiritually discerned and can only be acted upon by way of The Spirit of God as they are manifested in the natural world.

Also, these verse should be included as part of a much larger teaching. Here are topical headings of this entire teaching, beginning in Matthew 24:1, which gives us the ‘big picture’:

1.  Jesus Foretells The Destruction of the Temple. (This is prophetic, metaphorical and literal.)

2.  Jesus’ Disciples ask Him About the sign of His coming and of the End of The Age.

3.  Jesus Tells of The Signs, which, although originated in the Spiritual world, are literally manifested in the natural world, leading to of the End of the Age.

4.  Jesus Foretells of The Abomination of Desolation. This is the literal manifestation of the final global defiance of and rebellion against God.

5.  Jesus Tells of The Coming of the Son of Man. This is the sign that it is finished, this time for the world and creation. The Son is coming to remove His Elect from the earth and take us to our Heavenly home, to defeat the two beasts and the antichrist and to exact His Judgement on earth.

6.  Jesus instructs how we can know the season of His return and the End of The Age by using the Fig Tree as a metaphor. Those who have ears to hear, must listen and heed His Words. 7.  Jesus Instructs that No One Knows That Day and Hour of His Return and the End of The Age, but that we are to Stay Ready.

8.  Jesus teaches about the reward and the consequences of readiness through The Parable of the Ten Virgins.

9.  Jesus Teaches About the cost of being slothful, tardy and fearful and the rewards of faithfulness, trust and responsibility.

10. Jesus tells of the Final Judgment, gives the metaphor of the separation of the sheep, (the righteous) and the goats (the condemned) and the rewards of eternal life or eternal punishment.

11. Jesus reveals the plot of His crucifixion and death.

You are born, you live and you will die. You will have one chance at this.  Knowing the sequence of events, the rewards of righteousness and the consequences of rebelliousness is paramount to your survival, both now and eternally.

THE RESCUE OF THE RIGHTEOUS

If you are a believer and follower of Christ, alive on earth when the Sixth Seal is broken, you will be one of those remaining, the remnant, who will live through the most amazing of experiences.

      • You will see the sun darkened.
      • The moon will go dark.
      • Stars falling from heaven.
      • The heavens shaken.
      • The sign of the son of man in the heaven.
      • The people of earth mourning.
      • Jesus coming on the clouds with power.
      • You will hear the angels and the trumpet call.
      • Angels will gather you (Rapture you) with the elect from the four corners of the earth.

You will see the sun darkened, and the moon not giving its light, and stars falling from heaven, and seeing the powers of the heavens shaken. Then you will see the sign of the Son of Man appear in heaven, when all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and you will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Then you will see Him send out his angels and hear the loud trumpet-call, and they will gather you and his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

      • You and a multitude will be taken (Raptured) before the Throne of God.
      • You will hear an Elder telling you have come out of the great tribulation.
      • You will no longer hunger, thirst, suffer or mourn.

After these things you will be among the great multitude which no one can count, from come from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches in your hands; and you will cry out with a loud voice, saying,

“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” And all the angels will be standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they will fall on their faces before the throne and worship God, saying,

“Amen, blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

Then one of the elders will  respond, saying to you, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, you are before the throne of God, and you will serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over you. You will no longer hunger nor thirst, nor will the sun beat down on you, nor any scorching heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be your shepherd, and will guide you to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from your eyes.”  (also see Revelation 21:1-4)

 THE PUNISHMENT OF THE REBELLIOUS

      • You will see hail, fire, blood fall on the earth.
      • 1/3 of the earth burned up.
      • A huge asteroid hit the seas. The seas become blood.
      • 1/3 the sea creatures die.
      • An asteroid will hit the lakes and rivers.
      • People will die from bitter waters. 1/3 the sun, moon starts darkened.
      • A ‘star’ will fall to the earth.
      • A smoking abyss will open.
      • Locust will ascend from the abyss and will sting people for 5 months.
      • No one will repent of their sins.
      • The sun will scorch people on earth.
      • You will gnaw your tongue from pain.
      • The End will come.

But if you are alive at this time as an unbeliever, a rebel against God, you will have the unfortunate experience of living through the 8 more judgment events, and unless you repent before the sixth trumpet judgment, you will suffer through 7 more disastrous events of hail and fire mixed with blood hurled to the earth; and you will experience a third of the earth being burned up, and a third of the trees being burned up, and all the green grass being burned up.

You will see something like a great mountain burning with fire hurled into the sea; and a third of the sea will become blood, and a third of the creatures which are in the sea destroyed; and a third of the ships of the world destroyed.

Then you will see a great star fall from heaven, burning like a torch, and it will fall on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters.  The star is named Wormwood; and a third of the waters will become wormwood, and many people died from the waters because they were made bitter.

Then you will see a third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars  struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way.

Then you will hear an eagle flying in midheaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”

Then you will see a star from heaven which will fall to the earth; and the key to the shaft of the abyss was given to Him.  He will open the shaft of the abyss, and smoke will ascend out of the shaft like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air will be darkened from the smoke of the shaft. Then out of the smoke will come locusts upon the earth, and power will be given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.  They will not hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they will not be permitted to kill anyone, but to torment those remaining on earth for five months; and their torment will be like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a person.  And you and the other people will seek death but you will not find it; you will long to die, and death will evade you!

You will see locusts appearing as horses prepared for battle; and on their heads will appear to be crowns like gold, and their faces will appear as human faces.  They will have hair like the hair of women, and their teeth like the teeth of lions.  They will have breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings will be like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle. They will have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails will be their power to hurt you and other people for five months.  They will have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon.

Then you will hear a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who has the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” And the four angels, who are prepared for the hour and day and month and year, will be released, and  they will kill a third of mankind.

The number of the armies of the horsemen will be two hundred million; You will hear the number of them. And this is how you will see the horses and those who sat on them: the riders will have breastplates the color of fire, of hyacinth, and of brimstone; and the heads of the horses will be like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths will come fire and smoke and brimstone. A third of mankind will be killed by these three plagues, by the fire, the smoke, and the brimstone which will come out of their mouths. For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails will be like serpents and have heads, and with them they do harm.

You and the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, will not repent of the works of your hands so as not to worship demons and the idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk;  and at this point you and others will not repent of your murders, nor of your witchcraft, nor of your sexual immorality, nor of your thefts.

Then the worst of the remaining judgments will fall upon you. You will be  afflicted with harmful and painful sores,  as will all the people who have the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.

Then the sea will become blood, like that of a dead man; and every living ]thing in the sea will die.

Then the rivers and the springs of waters will become blood. And you will hear the angel of the waters saying, “Righteous are You, the One who is and who was, O Holy One, because You judged these things; for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. They deserve it.”  And you will hear the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”

Then the sun will scorch you with fire. And the people will be scorched with fierce heat; and you will blaspheme the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and you will not repent so as to give Him glory.

Then the throne of the beast, and his kingdom will be darkened; and you will  gnaw your tongue because of pain, and you will blaspheme the God of heaven because of you pain and your sores; and you will not repent of your deeds.

No One Knows That Day and Hour

Jesus has just told about the breaking of the 6th Tribulation Seal and the ‘Gathering of the Elect from the four winds of the earth’ (the Rapture), now He tells us what it will be like just before the rapture and the beginning of the final 7 years of judgment:

Matthew 24:36, “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

A description of the coming Rapture of the saints and of those left behind – So will be the coming of the Son of man – you also must be ready.

For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left.Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left.Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore, you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

The Reward of the Faithful Servant

They were all called ‘servants’ but only the ones who did what the Master said are rewarded. The wicked disobedient will be cut to pieces and put with the hypocrites where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 24:45, “Who then is the faithful and wise servant*, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.

The Punishment of the Wicked

But if that wicked servant* says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Reward of the Wise and the Rejection of the Foolish

They were all expecting to meet the bridegroom (Jesus) but only the wise were allowed into the wedding party. The foolish were left alone.

Matthew 25:1, “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’

But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

 The Rewards of the Faithful and the Punishment Fearful Servants

They were all called ‘servants’ of the Master. But only the faithful are rewarded and the fearful are counted as worthless and are cast into the outer darkness.

Matthew 25:14, “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. So also he who had the two talents made two talents more.But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money.

Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’

And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’

He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. So, take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The Final Judgment

The faithful sheep on His right and the goats on His left. The sheep who showed compassion, mercy and servanthood are welcomed into the kingdom prepared for them since the foundation of the world.

The unfaithful goats on His left are told to depart from Him, and are called cursed, and sent into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels

Matthew 25:31, “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

 The Plot to Kill Jesus

With His teaching and instructing completed, Jesus reveals that everything we have heard which is planned ahead of time will be set into motion with His crucifixion. The fuse is lit. Nothing will ever be the same again.

Matthew 26:1, “When Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said to his disciples, “You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”

Mustérion – The Mystery

A mystery or secret doctrine of which initiation is necessary; in the New Testament. The counsels of God, once hidden but now revealed in the Gospel or some fact thereof; the Christian revelation generally; particular truths or details of the Christian revelation.

Apokalupsis – The Revelation

An uncovering, an unveiling, revealing, revelation, disclosure. The book of the Revelation begins with John the Revelator addressing the seven churches in Asia.

What follows is an amazing prophetic insight of God’s plan and purpose for His creation from Genesis to the End of the Age.

Revelation 1:1, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, verse 2, who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, everything that he saw. Verse 3. Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.

Verse 4. “John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne, verse 5, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— Verse 6, and He made us into a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Verse 7. BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.”

Verse 8. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

I have color-coded certain words and phrases in these verses to draw attention to the Mustérion of the Apokalupsis.  Others are color-coded in red to draw attention to their obvious and transcendent truth.

THE WORD OF GOD – THE ONLY WAY TO SAFETY AND SUCCESS

The cosmos and this world and everything in them, which God created from the beginning, were ‘Good’.  God called all of His creation ‘Good’, and all things were ‘good’ because the process and the outcome of creation was perfectly in accordance to God’s Will, His Plan and His Purpose.

It may sound odd to say, but the scriptures about creation, particularly the creation of Adam and Eve, found in the Book of Genesis, seem to contain several contradictions.

THE FIRST ‘CONTRADICTION’

Revelation 1:1, says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place…”  These words were written sometime around A.D. 90. Over 1,900 years have passed since this prophecy was written, and according to the God-breathed and Holy Spirit inspired Word of God. The first ‘contradiction’, if that is possible, is if these were ‘to soon take place’, why haven’t they? But that is the wrong question to ask.

The right question to ask is, “Is this is more rock-solid evidence that the breaking of the first tribulation seals began at the birth of Christ and ‘the things which must soon take place’ began to appear around the time John the Apostle wrote his Apokalupsis?”

This prophetic statement fits perfectly with the words of Jesus and the Apostles Paul, Peter and Timothy, written around A.D. 30, and are found in :

Here is the Tribulation Timeline, in summary:

Section A.1. The opening of Tribulation Seal ONE began between A.D. 30 and A.D. 69, and perhaps as early as 2 B.C.   Seals ONE through FIVE have been broken, progressively, up until this day.

So, in this case there is no contradiction. It is a clear and positive explanation of the timing of ‘the beginning of the End of all Things’ – The tribulation had begun.  We are now standing at the precipice of the breaking of the 6th Tribulation Seal – which is the beginning of the final 7 years!

THE SECOND ‘CONTRADICTION’ – BACK TO THE BEGINNING

So, what does Genesis and the creation of man and woman have to do with the tribulation, the Revelation and the End of all Things? It shows that God planned all things to occur just has they have occurred from the very beginning. He planned it all.

Man and woman were created ‘in His image’ but as crazy as it sounds, the Hebrew language reveals, they were created with a flaw. They were created with a ‘as a mere image or a shadowed reflection of the Perfect God; an illusion with a dubious character’; but they were created with the potential of perfection.

This is shown as Adam and Eve sinned and doomed all humankind to live under the curse of sin. But, this was God’s plan all along, so He provided a solution, a Savior, His Son, Jesus. And the plan of Perfecting began.

Genesis 1:1, says, “In the beginning God, (Elohim), created the heavens and the earth. Verse 2. And the earth was a formless and desolate emptiness, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Verse 3. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Verse 4. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. Verse 5. God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And there was evening and there was morning, one day.” And, God saw that it was good. (etcetera).

THE MAJOR EVENT

Then, in Genesis 1:26, “God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness.”

This is a major event. The seminal event in all creation. God is making a creature He calls ‘mankind’ in His, (Their), own image and according to Their likeness.

AN ODD THING

In the midst of His creation work, an odd thing occurs.  This is an event, an occurrence in the creation of mankind, which is completely overlooked by the vast majority, if not all, Bible teachers. This is a bit technical, but please pay particular attention, as this is a game-changer.

Genesis 1, Verse 27. “So, God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

It may seem tedious to look at the wording of this verse, as it was written in the original Hebrew language, but it is vitally important for our understanding of God’s Design, plan and purpose:

man =adam, from ‘adam’; man, mankind. ruddy, i.e. A human being (an individual or the species, mankind.

 In Him own image = tselem = an image; a mere, empty, image, semblance; image, vain show, from an unused root meaning to shade; a phantom, i.e., an illusion, a resemblance; hence, a representative figure, especially an idol, an image, a vain shew, of dubious character.

 Female = naqab = female, from the sexual form.

 Genesis 1, Verse 27 , in other words, says, “So, God, signifying that this is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, created, shaped through a formative process to make man, that is, mankind, ruddy, i.e., a human being, an individual of the species of mankind, in His own image, in the image; a mere, empty, image, semblance; image, vain show, from an unused root meaning to shade; a phantom, i.e., an illusion, a resemblance; hence, a representative figure, especially an idol, an image, a vain shew, of dubious character, of God, yet having potential of being very great, mighty, and consisting as a plural in the ordinary sense, He created him, shaped, created, through a formative process; male and female He created them.”

RECAP:

  1. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, created, shaped and formed mankind.
  2. God created mankind ‘in His Own image’, which initially was a mere faint image of Himself; a vain representation, a shadow of the Original; an icon, a phantom pattern, an illusion, a mere resemblance; a being of dubious nature.
  3. God has deliberately made man and woman with a flaw, and destined them to fail.
  4. God would, through a formative process which would take a millennium, provide a way for man and woman to be redeemed and recreated into His perfect image through a Savior, His Son, Jesus.

 Once again, there is no contradiction. God created man and woman with a flaw – He created you and me with a flaw – and destined us to fail WITH A PURPOSE. He also provided a Savior to redeem you from failure. Through all time, God is perfecting His creation, man and woman, into the very image of Jesus the Christ,

The Purpose of God’s Eternal Plan is “Perfection”.  He is maturing and perfecting you into His image, ultimately to live in Perfect harmony with Him and with one another, in a New and Perfect heaven and earth.

“Because by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified.” Hebrews 10:14

Each and every chapter, verse and word in the Bible, when viewed within this context of God’s Eternal Plan of Perfection, begins to make perfect sense.

“Missiles rained down on Ukrainian cities. Ukraine reported columns of troops pouring across its borders from Russia and Belarus, and landing on the coast from the Black and Azov seas.”

This headline could have read, “The forces of God and Magog invaded Scythia on Thursday in a massive assault by land in an apparent attempt to rebuild the empire.”

With the nuclear card in his back pocket, Russian President Vladimir Putin believes Russia will out-suffer and outlast its adversary as Friday marks the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The Book of Ezekiel is a prophecy about the end of days, filled with bizarre visions and puzzling revelations. There have been precursor events, foreshadowing events to the final fulfillment of this prophecy. There is much speculation about the meaning and the fulfillment of the words of Ezekiel, but there has never, in all of history, been a convergence and a concurrence of  both historical and prophetic events as we see them now.

Is this the early preparation for the final dramatic act of The End of the Age?

Ezekiel

Chapter 38:1, “And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Verse 2. “Son of man, set your face against Gog of the land of Magog (current day Russia), the chief ruler of Meshech (southern Russia and Ukraine and possibly the Republic of Georgia) and Tubal (central Turkey), and prophesy against him,

Verse 3, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief ruler of Meshech and Tubal.

Verse 4. I will turn you around and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them magnificently clothed in full armor, a great horde with buckler (small shield) and [large] shield, all of them wielding swords;

Verse 5. Persia (Iran), Cush (Ethiopia), and Put (Libya, N. Africa) with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

Verse 6. Gomer (southern Russia) and all its troops; Beth-togarmah (the Caucuses region of Armenia and Georgia) from the remote parts of the north and all its troops–many peoples with you.

Theme

Ezekiel the priest, assures his fellow Jews, through this prophecy, that God will one day return them to Jerusalem and restore the temple.

The Jews were restored to Israel in 1948. The temple is yet to be rebuilt, but that day is drawing near.

Beneath the surface and you’ll find timeless lessons about God and his relationship with you: He’d rather forgive you than judge you. He remains faithful even if you don’t. He can use anything—even something bad—to accomplish his greater good. Ezekiel wrote this book to the Israelites living in exile. They needed to know that the God of Israel was God even in pagan Babylon. Ezekiel warned the people that their idolatry would be judged. WHO ARE THE ‘PLAYERS’?

Gog – Gog and Magog appear in the Hebrew Bible and the Quran as individuals, tribes, or lands. In Ezekiel 38, Gog is an individual and Magog is his land; in Genesis 10, Magog is a man and eponymous ancestor of a nation, but no Gog is mentioned; and centuries later Jewish tradition changed Ezekiel’s “Gog from Magog” into “Gog and Magog”.

The Gog prophecy is meant to be fulfilled at the approach of what is called the “end of days“, but not necessarily the end of the world. Jewish eschatology viewed Gog and Magog as enemies to be defeated by the Messiah, which would usher in the age of the Messiah. Christianity‘s interpretation is more starkly apocalyptic: making Gog and Magog, here indicating nations rather than individuals,[3] allies of Satan against God at the end of the millennium, as described in the Book of Revelation. Meshech, Tubal:  Meshech (also spelled Meshek) and Tubal were sons of Japheth, one of the three sons of Noah who survived the flood with him (Genesis 10:1–2). Meshech (whose name means “long, tall, or drawn out by force”) is the sixth son of Japheth. The land of Meshech is closely associated with that of Tubal, especially in a prophecy of Ezekiel. The region of Meshech is often identified as being north of the Black Sea (southern Russia and Ukraine and possibly the Republic of Georgia), and Tubal as an area in central Turkey.

The land of Meshech is used in Psalm 120:5 as a generic reference to barbarous regions where “those who hate peace” live (verse 6). The lands where Meshech’s and Tubal’s descendants settled figure significantly in some prophecies of Ezekiel, and it is in that book where they are mentioned most. In the prophecy of Ezekiel 38, Meshech and Tubal are ruled by Gog, a prince over those territories: “The word of the LORD came to me: ‘Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him and say, “Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal”’” (Ezekiel 38:1–3). Ezekiel repeats God’s words of judgment against the descendants of the two sons of Japheth when he prophesies that God will defeat them in a war against Israel (Ezekiel 39:1–5).

Many biblical scholars equate the land of Gog in Ezekiel’s prophecies with Russia, who will attack Israel “from the far north” (Ezekiel 38:15). Meshech and Tubal could be two of the “many nations” joining Russia in their invasion of Israel (verse 6).

The advance of the alliance involving Meshech and Tubal will be like “a cloud covering the land” (Ezekiel 38:9). Some commentators believe this war, often called the Battle of Gog and Magog, will be one of the events leading up to the end-times’ tribulation. Others believe it will occur close to the midpoint of the tribulation, since Israel will feel secure at the time, “dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates” (verse 11).

God will defeat this powerful alliance (Ezekiel 38:22) to reveal His greatness to all the world (verse 23) and restore the people of Israel to a right relationship with Himself (Ezekiel 39:21–29). Meshech and Tubal, despite the strength of their numbers and help of their allies, will fall. (GotQuestions.org)

Cush: The Kingdom of Kush; Assyrian: was an ancient kingdom in Nubia, centered along the Nile Valley in what is now northern Sudan and southern Egypt.

Put – Phut or Put is the third son of Ham (one of the sons of Noah), in the biblical Table of Nations (Genesis 10:6; 1 Chronicles 1:8). The name Put (or Phut) is used in the Bible for Ancient Libya, but a few scholars proposed the Land of Punt known from Ancient Egyptian annals.

Gomer: The Hebrew name Gomer refers to the Cimmerians, who dwelt in what is now southern Russia, “beyond the Caucusus”, and attacked Assyria in the late 7th century BC.

Beth-togarmah: Togarmah is a figure in the “table of nations” in Genesis 10, the list of descendants of Noah that represents the peoples known to the ancient Hebrews. Togarmah is among the descendants of Japheth and is thought to represent some people located in Anatolia. Medieval sources claimed that Togarmah was the legendary ancestor of several peoples of the Caucasus -including Armenians and Georgians.

GOD CAUSES ISRAEL’S ENEMIES TO INVADE

Ezekiel 38:7, “You [Gog] be prepared; prepare yourself, you and all your hordes that are assembled around you, and be a guard and a lookout for them. Verse 8. After many days you will be summoned [for service]; in the latter years you shall come into the land that is restored from [the ravages of] the sword, where people have been gathered out of many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual wasteland; but its people were brought out of the nations, and they are living securely, all of them. 9You will go up [against them], you will come like a storm; you shall be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.”

GOD DESTROYS THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL

Ezekiel 38:17. ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Are you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants, the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you (Gog) against them? Verse 18. It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that My wrath will rise and show on My face. Verse 19. In My zeal and in My blazing rage I declare that on that day there will most certainly be a [c]great earthquake in the land of Israel, Verse 20, so that the fishes of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all the creatures that crawl on the earth, and all the men that are on the face of the earth will tremble and shake at My presence; the mountains will crumble, the steep places will fall, and every wall will fall to the ground. Verse 21. I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord GOD. “Every man’s (invading soldier’s) sword will be against his brother (ally) [in panic and confusion]. Verse 22. With pestilence and with bloodshed I will enter into judgment with Gog; and I will rain on him torrents of rain with [great] hailstones, fire and brimstone on his hordes and on the many nations that are with him. Verse 23. Thus I shall magnify Myself and demonstrate My greatness and sanctify Myself, and I will be recognized and will make Myself known in the sight of many nations; they will know [without any doubt] that I am the LORD.”’

The Prophecy against Gog – Future Invaders Destroyed

Ezekiel 39:1 “And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; verse 2, and I will turn you around, lead you on a rope, take you up from the remotest parts of the north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel. Verse 3. Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows fall from your right hand. Verse 4. You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and animal of the field. Verse 5. You will fall on the open field; for it is I who have spoken,” declares the Lord GOD. Verse 6. “And I will send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD.

Verse 7. “And I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not allow My holy name to be profaned anymore. But the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Verse 8. Behold, it is coming and it shall be done,” declares the Lord GOD. “That is the day of which I have spoken.

Verse 9. “Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out and make fires with the weapons and burn them, both bucklers and shields, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears, and for seven years they will make fires of them. Verse 10. They will not take wood from the field or gather firewood from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will take the spoils of those who plundered them and seize the plunder of those who plundered them,” declares the Lord GOD.

Verse 11. “On that day I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will block the way of those who would pass by. So they will bury Gog there with all his horde, and they will call it the Valley of Hamon-gog. Verse 12. For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. Verse 13. And all the people of the land will bury them; and it will be to their renown on the day that I appear in My glory,” declares the Lord GOD. Verse 14. “They will also select men who will constantly pass through the land, burying those who were passing through, those left on the surface of the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will conduct a search. Verse 15. As those who pass through the land pass through and anyone sees a human bone, then he will set up a marker by it until the burial detail has buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog. Verse 16. And even the name of the city will be Hamonah. So they will cleanse the land.”’

Verse 17.“Now as for you, son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Say to every kind of bird and to every animal of the field: “Assemble and come, gather from every direction to My sacrifice, which I am going to sacrifice for you as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel; and you will eat flesh and drink blood. Verse 18. You will eat the flesh of warriors and drink the blood of the leaders of the earth, as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all of them fattened livestock of Bashan. Verse 19. So you will eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk,  from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Verse 20. You will eat your fill at My table with horses and charioteers, with warriors and all the men of war,” declares the Lord GOD.

Verse 21. “And I will place My glory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them. Verse 22. And the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day onward. Verse 23. The nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their wrongdoing, because they were disloyal to Me, and I hid My face from them; so I handed them over to their adversaries, and all of them fell by the sword. Verse 24. In accordance with their uncleanness and their offenses I dealt with them, and I hid My face from them.”’”

Future Israel Restored

Verse 25. Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on all the house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name. Verse 26. They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid. Verse 27. When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall show Myself holy through them in the sight of the many nations. Verse 28. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then I gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. Verse 29. I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD.

NOT YET THE END

Ezekiel was written between 593–571 B.C., about 2,600 years ago and refers to a climatic battle between God and the forces of evil, as recorded in the book of Revelation. The word, “Armageddon” ultimately comes from the Hebrew word Har-Magedone, which means “Mount Megiddo,” the predicted location of the battle.

the Battle of Armageddon will be a real battle in the future, near the end of the tribulation. Demonic influences will cause the kings of the earth to gather their armies for an all-out assault on Jerusalem. The Antichrist will be leading the charge (Revelation 16:13–16). Jesus Christ will return to earth with the armies of heaven (Matthew 25:31; Revelation 19:14); His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4); He will defeat the forces of evil (Revelation 19:15–16); He will cast the Antichrist and the false prophet into the lake of fire (Revelation 19:20); He will bind Satan; and He will set up His kingdom on earth for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1–6). At Armageddon the Lord Jesus Christ “treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty” (Revelation 16:19), and all things will be made right.

The placement of the future and final battle of Armageddon, as foretold in the book of Ezekiel and as described in greater detail in the 16th chapter of the Book of the Revelation, will occur after the pouring out of the 7th Tribulation Bowl of Wrath – at the end of the Great Tribulation period.

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT?

We are now, by all accounts and appearances, experiencing the breaking of the 5th Tribulation Seal.

1. There are those who will be martyred during this 5th Seal. (Revelation 6:9-11)

2. The Day of The Lord will not come unless the apostasy comes first. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).

3. The Day of The Lord will not come until the man of lawlessness is revealed and he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).

We are on the precipice of the 6th Triblation Seal. We will mericifully be taken from the earth at or before the end of the breaking of the 6th Tribulation Seal and before the breaking of the 7th Tribulation seal.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU?

First, you must be prepared for what is upon you. It is my desire to keep this short and to the point:

Secondly, you can take heart. The Lord Jesus will take His Own from the earth to dwell with Him in His Father’s House.  He will wipe away every tear from your eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. (Revelation 21:4)

  • Gedurende de volgende 45 dagen (in de aanloop naar 1335 dagen na de ontheiliging van de tempel) worden de heidense naties veroordeeld voor hun behandeling van Israël. De bedeling van het millennium begint en zal 1000 jaar duren (Openbaring 20:3, 5-6).

Openbaring 12:1, “En er verscheen een groot teken aan de hemel: een vrouw (Israël) gekleed in de zon, met de maan onder haar voeten en op haar hoofd een kroon van twaalf sterren (de 12 Stammen van Israël). vers 2. Ze was zwanger en schreeuwde het uit van de pijn bij de geboorte en de pijn van de bevalling (het Christuskind). Vers 3. En er verscheen een ander teken aan de hemel: zie, een grote rode draak (Satan), met zeven koppen en tien horens, en op zijn koppen zeven diademen. Vers 4. Zijn staart veegde een derde van de sterren van de hemel naar beneden en wierp ze op de aarde. En de draak stond voor de vrouw die op het punt stond te bevallen, zodat hij het zou verslinden als ze haar kind baarde (Jezus, het Christuskind). Vers 5. Ze baarde een mannelijk kind (het Christuskind), iemand die alle naties zal regeren met een ijzeren staf, maar haar kind werd weggevoerd naar God en naar zijn troon, vers 6. en de vrouw vluchtte naar de wildernis, waar ze een plaats heeft die door God is voorbereid, waar ze 1260 dagen zal worden gevoed (gelijk aan 3 1/2 jaar bij gebruik van de Hebreeuwse kalender van 30 dagen per maand). De interpretatie van de 1260 dagen, of 3,5 jaar, valt hier samen met Openbaring 11:2: “Maar meet de voorhof buiten de tempel niet; laat dat weg, want het zal (toekomstige tijd) worden overgegeven aan de naties, en zij zullen de heilige stad tweeënveertig maanden lang vertrappen.” Niet alleen ‘weglaten’, maar ‘uitwerpen’. De “voorhof die buiten de tempel is” werd alleen door joden betreden. Het lijkt daarom deel uit te maken van de Kerk, maar dat deel dat gescheiden is van de “binnenste kring van ware gelovigen” en deze buitenste voorhof zal aan de wereld worden overgegeven, wat hier wordt gesymboliseerd door “de heidenen”. De heidenen, de naties, betekenen gedurende de Apocalyps ofwel (1) de hele mensheid; of (2) dat deel van de mensheid dat overblijft wanneer de ware Kerk van God wordt teruggetrokken, en daarom het onrechtvaardige deel van de mensheid omarmt in tegenstelling tot het goddelijke (vgl. Openbaring 2:26; Openbaring 14:8; Openbaring 16: 19; Openbaring 18:23; 22:22).

Dit is een verder bewijs van de timing van het vijfde verdrukkingszegel, de grote afval van de kerk, vervolging van de heiligen, vindt plaats vóór het zesde verdrukkingszegel.
 
** Het is ook belangrijk op te merken dat het 6e verdrukkingszegel niet verbroken zal worden en dat de opname van de Kerk pas zal plaatsvinden nadat de antichrist is geopenbaard:
 
Lees alstublieft 2 Thessalonicenzen 2:1-3: “Wat betreft de komst van onze Heer Jezus Christus en onze samenkomst tot Hem, vragen wij u, broeders, vers 2, niet snel geschokt of verontrust te zijn, hetzij door een geest of een gesproken woord, of een brief die van ons lijkt te zijn, inhoudende dat de dag des Heren is aangebroken. Vers 3. Laat niemand u op enigerlei wijze misleiden. Want die dag zal niet komen, tenzij de opstand ( de afvalligheid, de grote afvalligheid van het geloof) komt eerst, en de mens der wetteloosheid wordt (de antichrist) geopenbaard, de zoon des verderfs (de antichrist) vers 4, die zich verzet tegen en zich verheft tegen elke zogenaamde god of voorwerp van aanbidding, zodat hij plaatsneemt in de tempel van God en verkondigt dat hij God is.”
 
Nu terug naar Openbaring 11:2: “En de heilige stad zullen zij vertreden.” De heilige stad – dat is Jeruzalem – is altijd een type van de Kerk in de Apocalyps. “De naties” (heidenen of niet-gelovigen) zijn het instrument waarmee de Kerk wordt vertreden, en de vermelding van de heidenen in verband met het afvallige deel van de Kerk leidt tot de beschrijving van de onderdrukking van Gods gelovigen door de wereld . (Dit verwijst naar de huidige en groeiende grote vervolging van de heiligen tijdens het 5e verdrukkingszegel. De gemeente wordt verwijderd – opgenomen – bij het 6e verdrukkingszegel en degenen die overblijven kunnen de kerk lijken te zijn (‘de heidenen’) zijn niet gelovigen en het omhulsel van de kerk is leeg van ware gelovigen en leeg van de Heilige Geest).
 
Samenvattend volgt hier de tijdlijn (in deze kleurtekst):
 
Bij of onmiddellijk na de opname van de kerk (die samenvalt met het verbreken van het 6e verdrukkingszegel – Mattheüs 24:29-31), sluit de Antichrist een verdrag met Israël. Hiermee begint de zevenjarige verdrukking.

Deze antichrist zal valse hoop en vrede in de wereld brengen en zal doen wat niemand anders ooit heeft gedaan: Israël en Palestina samenbrengen. In feite zal de koning een 7-jarig vredesverdrag sluiten met het volk en er zal vrede zijn voor 3 1/2 jaar, wat ons zal brengen bij de 6e Verdrukkingsbazuin – het middenpunt van de 7-jarige Grote Verdrukking. Daarna zal de Antichrist zijn gelofte breken en de Joden stoppen met al hun offers, en hij zal zichzelf in de tempel zetten en verkondigen dat hij God is. Dit wordt de ‘gruwel der verwoesting’ genoemd, waarover de profeet Daniël sprak. En hij zal het verbond met velen bevestigen gedurende één week – deze ‘één week’, of 7 jaar, ook bekend als Daniëls 70e week, vindt plaats bij het verbreken van het 6e verdrukkingszegel – en in het midden van deze week, of na 3.5 jaar, samenvallend met het blazen van de 6e Verdrukkingsbazuin, zal hij ervoor zorgen dat het offer en de offerande ophouden. “En vanwege de verspreiding van gruwelen zal hij het tot een woestenij maken, zelfs tot aan de voleinding, en dat vastbesloten zal op de woestenij worden uitgestort”. Daniël 9:27. Opnieuw in Mattheüs 24:15-16: “Wanneer gij dan de gruwel der verwoesting, waarvan gesproken is door de profeet Daniël, zult zien staan op de heilige plaats (wie het leest, laat hem het begrijpen), laat dan die in Judea zijn, vluchten naar de bergen.” En als je dit ziet, zei Jezus dat je naar de bergen moest vluchten, want dan zal er een grote verdrukking zijn, zoals er sinds het begin van de wereld niet is geweest of ooit zal zijn. En tenzij die dagen worden ingekort, zal niemand worden gespaard. Laat hem die op het dak is niet naar beneden komen om iets uit zijn huis te halen; en laat hem die op het veld is niet terugkeren om zijn kleren mee te nemen. En wee hen die zwanger zijn, en hen die in die dagen zogen! Maar bid dat uw vlucht niet in de winter zal zijn, noch op de sabbatdag. Want dan zal er een grote verdrukking zijn, zoals er niet was sinds het begin van de wereld tot op deze tijd, nee, en nooit meer zal zijn. En tenzij die dagen zouden worden ingekort, zou er geen vlees worden gered; maar ter wille van de uitverkorenen zullen die dagen worden ingekort. Mattheüs 24:15-22. Halverwege de verdrukking (1260 dagen, wat 3,5 jaar later is), verbreekt de Antichrist het verdrag, ontheiligt hij de tempel en begint hij de Joden te vervolgen. Aan het einde van de verdrukking (1260 dagen na de ontheiliging van de tempel gekenmerkt door het blazen van de 6e Trompet Oordeel), keert Jezus Christus terug naar de aarde en verslaat de strijdkrachten van de Antichrist. Openbaring 9:12: “Het eerste wee is voorbij; zie, er komen nog twee weeën. Vers 13, “Toen blies de zesde engel op zijn bazuin, (de eerste 3,5 jaar van de Grote Verdrukking zijn voorbij. Dit is het midden). en ik hoorde een stem uit de vier horens van het gouden altaar voor God, vers 14, die tegen de zesde engel zei die de trompet had: “Laat de vier engelen los die vastgebonden zijn bij de grote rivier de Eufraat.” Vers 15. Dus de vier engelen, die waren voorbereid voor het uur, de dag, de maand en het jaar, werden vrijgelaten om een derde van de mensheid te doden. Vers 16. Het aantal bereden troepen was twee keer tienduizend keer tienduizend (200.000.000 is de geschatte omvang van het Chinese leger in 2022); Ik hoorde hun nummer. Vers 17. En zo zag ik de paarden in mijn visioen en degenen die erop reden: ze droegen borstplaten in de kleur van vuur en saffier en zwavel, en de hoofden van de paarden waren als leeuwenkoppen, en vuur en rook en zwavel kwam uit hun mond. Vers 18. Door deze drie plagen werd een derde van de mensheid gedood, door het vuur en de rook en de zwavel die uit hun mond kwamen. Vers 19. Want de kracht van de paarden zit in hun mond en in hun staart, want hun staarten zijn als slangen met koppen, en daardoor verwonden ze.” Vers 20. De rest van de mensheid, die niet door deze plagen werd gedood, bekeerde zich niet van de werken van hun handen en gaf ook niet op met het aanbidden van demonen en afgoden van goud en zilver en brons en steen en hout, die niet kunnen zien of horen of lopen , vers 21. noch bekeerden zij zich van hun moorden of hun tovenarij of hun seksuele immoraliteit of hun diefstallen. (Niemand wordt gered nadat de 6e Verdrukkingsbazuin is geblazen) (Opmerking: wanneer het 6e verdrukkingszegel wordt verbroken, wat op elk moment kan gebeuren, duurt het 3,5 jaar tot de slag van Armageddon.) Gedurende de volgende 30 dagen (in de aanloop naar 1290 dagen na de ontheiliging van de tempel) wordt Israël herbouwd en wordt de aarde hersteld. • Gedurende de volgende 45 dagen (in de aanloop naar 1335 dagen na de ontwijding van de tempel) worden de heidense naties veroordeeld voor hun behandeling van Israël. • De bedeling van het millennium begint en zal 1000 jaar duren (Openbaring 20:3, 5-6). De profetie uit Daniël 12;1 vertelt ons dat, “In die tijd zal (toekomstige) Michaël opstaan, de grote vorst die de leiding heeft over uw volk. En er zal (toekomstige) een tijd van benauwdheid zijn zoals er nooit geweest is sinds er een natie was (zie ook de woorden van Jezus in Mattheüs 24:21) tot die tijd. Maar op dat moment zal uw volk worden bevrijd (bij het verbreken van het 6e zegel, het begin van de Grote en Verschrikkelijke Dag des Heren, zie Mattheüs 24:29-31), iedereen wiens naam in het boek zal worden gevonden. Vers 2. En velen van degenen die slapen in het stof der aarde zullen ontwaken, sommigen tot eeuwig leven, en sommigen tot schande en eeuwige verachting. Vers 3. En zij die wijs zijn, zullen schijnen als de helderheid van de lucht daarboven; en degenen die velen tot gerechtigheid brengen, zoals de sterren voor eeuwig en altijd. Vers 4. Maar jij, Daniël, hou je mond en verzegel het boek, tot de tijd van het einde. Velen zullen heen en weer rennen en de kennis zal toenemen.” Vers 5. Toen keek ik, Daniël, en zie, twee anderen stonden, een aan deze oever van de stroom en een aan die oever van de stroom. Vers 6. En iemand zei tegen de in linnen geklede man, die boven het water van de stroom was: “Hoe lang zal het duren tot het einde van deze wonderen?” Vers 7. En ik hoorde de man, gekleed in linnen, die boven het water van de stroom was; hij hief zijn rechterhand en zijn linkerhand op naar de hemel en zwoer bij hem die eeuwig leeft dat het voor een tijd, tijden, en een halve tijd zou zijn, en dat wanneer er een einde komt aan het verbrijzelen van de macht van het heilige volk, alle deze dingen zouden af zijn. Vers 8. Ik hoorde het, maar ik begreep het niet. Toen zei ik: “O mijn heer, wat zal de uitkomst van deze dingen zijn?” Vers 9. Hij zei: “Ga heen, Daniël, want de woorden zijn opgesloten en verzegeld tot de tijd van het einde. Vers 10. Velen zullen zich reinigen en wit maken en gelouterd worden, maar de goddelozen zullen goddeloos handelen. En geen van de goddelozen zal het begrijpen, maar zij die wijs zijn zullen het begrijpen. Vers 11. En vanaf het moment dat het reguliere brandoffer wordt weggenomen (op of vlak voor de 6e Verdrukkingsbazuin) en de gruwel die verwoesting brengt, wordt opgericht, zullen er 1290 dagen (3,5 jaar) zijn. Vers 12. Gezegend is hij die wacht en aankomt bij de 1335 dagen (gedurende de volgende 45 dagen die leiden tot 1335 dagen na de ontwijding van de tempel), worden de heidense naties veroordeeld voor hun behandeling van Israël). Vers 13. Maar ga door tot het einde. En je zult rusten en staan op je toegewezen plaats aan het einde van de dagen.” HERHALEN – Samenvattend is hier de tijdlijn: Bij of onmiddellijk na de opname van de kerk (die samenvalt met het verbreken van het 6e verdrukkingszegel – Mattheüs 24:29-31), sluit de Antichrist een verdrag met Israël. Hiermee begint de zevenjarige verdrukking. Halverwege de verdrukking (1260 dagen, wat 3,5 jaar later is), verbreekt de Antichrist het verdrag, ontheiligt hij de tempel en begint hij de Joden te vervolgen. Aan het einde van de verdrukking (1260 dagen na de ontheiliging van de tempel gekenmerkt door het blazen van de 6e Trompet Oordeel), keert Jezus Christus terug naar de aarde en verslaat de strijdkrachten van de Antichrist. Gedurende de volgende 30 dagen (in de aanloop naar 1290 dagen na de ontheiliging van de tempel) wordt Israël herbouwd en wordt de aarde hersteld. Gedurende de volgende 45 dagen (in de aanloop naar 1335 dagen na de ontheiliging van de tempel) worden de heidense naties veroordeeld voor hun behandeling van Israël. De bedeling van het millennium begint en zal 1000 jaar duren (Openbaring 20:3, 5-6). Waar brengt dit ons vandaag (12/11/2022)? Openbaring hoofdstuk 6 – zoals overeenkomend met – Mattheüs hoofdstuk 24 het 1e Verdrukkingszegel – Wereldwijde verovering en politieke intriges zijn aan de gang sinds de geboorte van Jezus. het 2e verdrukkingszegel – Oorlogen en oorlogsgeruchten zijn aan de gang sinds de geboorte van Jezus. het 3e verdrukkingszegel – Hongersnood. is aan de gang sinds de geboorte van Jezus. het 4e verdrukkingszegel –  Dood. is aan de gang sinds de geboorte van Jezus. het 5e verdrukkingszegel – Martelaren, vervolging, antichrist, afval. We hebben de afgelopen 75 jaar de periode gezien van het verbreken van het 5e verdrukkingszegel, en het wordt intenser. (Zie Matteüs 24:9-13 en Openbaring 6:9-13.) Dit omvat ook de grote afval, het afvallig worden van het geloof in Christus Een grote vervolging van christenen, De onthulling van de man des verderfs (zie deze link voor meer informatie: “Wanneer beginnen de 7-jaren?”) WAT KOMT HIERNA? Mattheüs 24:29 “Onmiddellijk na de verdrukking van die dagen (d.w.z. na verdrukkingszegels 1 tot en met 5), zal de zon verduisterd worden en zal de maan haar licht niet geven, en de sterren zullen van de hemel vallen, en de machten van de hemel zal beven. Vers 30. Dan zal aan de hemel het teken van de Mensenzoon verschijnen, en dan zullen alle stammen van de aarde rouwen en zullen ze de Zoon des Mensen zien komen op de wolken des hemels met macht en grote heerlijkheid. Vers 31. En hij zal zijn engelen uitzenden met een luid trompetgeschal, en zij zullen zijn uitverkorenen verzamelen uit de vier windstreken, van het ene uiteinde van de hemel tot het andere.” EEN BELANGRIJKE HISTORISCHE EN CHRONOLOGISCHE MARKER: “Onmiddellijk na de verdrukking van die dagen”.  Het is belangrijk om goed te letten op de bewoordingen “onmiddellijk daarna” en “de verdrukking van die dagen”, die verwijst naar iets dat eerder kwam en dat er iets zal volgen. We hebben al gelezen en vastgesteld dat de “verdrukking van die dagen” specifiek verwijst naar de tijdsperiode die bekend staat als ‘de dagen van benauwdheid’, het verbreken van de eerste vijf verdrukkingszegels, van ongeveer 1 n.Chr. tot op de dag van vandaag (voetnoot 1), (voetnoot 2). Nu zullen we ontdekken wat volgt op het verbreken van de eerste vijf verdrukkingszegels, BELANGRIJK: Mattheüs 24:21 zegt: “Want dan zal er een grote verdrukking zijn, zoals er niet is geweest vanaf het begin van de wereld tot nu toe, nee, en nooit (weer) zal zijn. specifiek, Mattheüs 24:29. De zon zal verduisterd worden, en De maan zal zijn licht niet geven, en De sterren zullen uit de hemel vallen, en De machten van de hemelen zullen wankelen. Vers 30. Dan zal aan de hemel het teken van de Mensenzoon verschijnen, en dan zullen alle stammen van de aarde treuren, en Ze zullen de Mensenzoon zien komen op de wolken van de hemel met macht en grote heerlijkheid. Vers 31. En hij zal zijn engelen uitzenden met een luid trompetgeschal, en Ze zullen zijn uitverkorenen verzamelen uit de vier windstreken, van het ene uiteinde van de hemel tot het andere. Jezus herhaalt het verbreken van het 6e verdrukkingszegel in Openbaring 6:12-17, op deze manier: “En ik keek toen Hij het zesde zegel verbrak, en er was een grote aardbeving; en de zon werd zo zwart als een zak van haar, en de hele maan werd als bloed en de sterren aan de hemel vielen op de aarde, zoals een vijgenboom zijn onrijpe vijgen laat vallen als hij door een harde wind wordt geschud. berg en eiland werden van hun plaats verwijderd. Toen verborgen de koningen van de aarde en de vooraanstaande mensen, en de commandanten en de rijken en de sterken, en elke slaaf en vrije persoon zich in de grotten en tussen de rotsen van de bergen; en Ze zeiden tegen de bergen en de rotsen: “Val op ons en verberg ons voor de aanblik van Hem die op de troon zit, en voor de toorn van het Lam; want de grote dag van hun toorn is aangebroken en wie in staat is om stellage?” BELANGRIJK:  Vervolgens, snel achter elkaar (zie Openbaring hoofdstuk 7), de windstromen van de aarde stoppen met bewegen, 144.000 uit de twaalf stammen van Israël zijn door God verzegeld; toen plotseling, vanuit de verdrukking, een grote menigte die niemand tellen kon, uit elke natie en alle stammen, volken en talen, staande voor de troon en voor het Lam, gekleed in witte gewaden, en palmtakken waren in hun handen; en zij roepen met luide stem en zeggen: “De redding is van onze God die op de troon zit, en van het Lam.” De langverwachte Opname van alle heiligen van God heeft plaatsgevonden. Elk van deze gebeurtenissen moet afzonderlijk en vervolgens collectief zorgvuldig worden overwogen. Elke gebeurtenis is een samenvatting van wat komen gaat en geeft een goed inzicht in ELKE gebeurtenis, die in meer detail wordt beschreven in het boek Openbaring. Het is belangrijk op te merken dat deze gebeurtenissen snel en tegelijkertijd of snel achter elkaar plaatsvinden. (Sommige bijbelleraren zeggen ten onrechte dat Jezus een andere keer terug zal komen om deze gebeurtenissen af te ronden en de kerk op te nemen, wat overduidelijk onjuist is. Er is maar één tweede komst en slechts één 2e verschijnt. Jezus zal al zijn teruggekeerd en blijft aanwezig, zelfs tot aan de slag van Armageddon. Jezus verschijnt niet, Mattheüs 24:30-31, verdwijnt en verschijnt dan weer in Openbaring 19:11-21.) Er zijn geen drie adventen of ‘opnieuw verschijnen’ voor een derde keer! WAAROM IS DIT BELANGRIJK en WAAROM IS HET VAN BELANG? Waarom maakt het uit “wanneer” de verdrukking begint of “wanneer” christenen zullen worden opgenomen in de hemelen? Het is van belang, want klaar zijn voor Zijn Terugkeer is het bewijs van het Ware Christendom en alleen een Ware Gelovige in Christus zal zich gegarandeerd bij Christus voegen bij het geluid van Zijn Grote Trompet en ontsnappen aan de Grote en Verschrikkelijke Dag des Heren. Het is van belang omdat gereed zijn vereist dat we geloven en doen wat Hij ons heeft opgedragen ter voorbereiding op Zijn wederkomst; Hij heeft gezegd: “Gaat daarom en maakt alle volken tot mijn leerlingen, door hen te dopen in de naam van de Vader en de Zoon en de Heilige Geest, en hun te leren onderhouden alles wat Ik u geboden heb. En zie, ik ben altijd bij je, tot het einde der tijden.” Het doet er toe omdat Hij heeft gewaarschuwd dat “Velen zullen op die dag tegen Mij zeggen: ‘Heer, Heer, hebben wij niet in Uw naam geprofeteerd en in Uw naam demonen uitgedreven en in Uw naam vele wonderen verricht? En dan zal ik tegen hen verklaren: ‘Ik heb je nooit gekend; GA UIT VAN MIJ, JIJ DIE WETTELOOSHEID BEOEFT.’” Het doet er toe omdat veel christenen werkeloos zitten te wachten op een gebeurtenis die al begonnen is en ze DOEN niet wat Hij hen vertelde te doen en kunnen daarom een groot gevaar vormen. Het is van belang omdat sommige van onze familie, vrienden en buren zich er totaal niet van bewust zijn of gewoon niet geloven dat Christus zal terugkeren en dat Gods laatste oordelen hen tot buitenste duisternis zullen veroordelen. Want als christenen spreken ons geloof, onze overtuigingen en ons gedrag luider dan onze woorden. Als u de doctrine van “Eén en klaar” van ‘een klein gebed opzeggen en Jezus aanvaarden’ hebt geaccepteerd als alles wat u hoeft te doen om gered te worden, bent u misschien misleid en bent u misschien niet klaar voor Zijn terugkeer. We moeten ‘onze redding met vrees en beven bewerken’, ons dagelijks bekeren, Hem op de voet volgen, Hem volledig gehoorzamen, vaak biechten, ons regelmatig verheugen, Hem prijzen en tot Hem bidden zonder ophouden!
