Pre-Wrath-Pre-Trib-Rapture

At the end of this page, is a collection of videos on the Last Days from a Pre-Wrath-tribulation view, the rapture and a chronological look at eschatological history.

What is the Pre-Wrath (Tribulation) Rapture?

The Pre-wrath-tribulation Rapture is the clearest explanation, by Jesus, of the coming Day of the Lord and the rapture. The Bible says, in plain language, that the rapture will occur after or during the 6th tribulation seal. This view holds that the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21) or a Great Distress (Luke21:23) begins during the 6th seal, being Daniel’s 70th week, when the Antichrist is revealed in the temple. This is not a “mid-tribulation view” because it occurs after or during the 6th Seal, but, well before the three and one-half year mark of the Great Tribulation. Again, this period is defined, in the Bible, as the Great Tribulation or the time of Great Distress as opposed to “the tribulation”.

References from Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 are used as evidence of the coming of Christ to “deliver the righteous” by means of the rapture, which will occur after specific events in Revelation, in particular after or during the breaking of the Sixth Seal when the sun is darkened and the moon is turned to blood.

By this point – the breaking of the 6th Seal – many Christians will have been slaughtered as martyrs by the Antichrist, with many more to come.

After the rapture, God’s wrath of trumpets and bowls will come. The Day of the Lord’s wrath against the ungodly will follow for the remainder of seven years (the 6th and 7th Seal, the 7 Trumpet judgments and the 7 Bowl judgments).

Here are 4 important differences:

(1) The Pre-tribulation view says the final 7 years of Daniel’s Seventy Weeks will commence with the breaking of the first Seal of the Tribulation and will conclude 7 years later with the pouring out of the 7th and final Bowl of God’s Wrath.

But, the Bible clearly teaches that the final 7 years of Daniel’s Seventy Weeks will commence with the breaking of the Sixth Seal of the Tribulation. The first Seal of the Tribulation was broken in or around AD 1 as confirmed by the Apostle Peter in Acts 2:14-21 , and the successive Seals 2 through 5 have been opened at various times over the last 2,019 years, with the 5th Seal being the most recent. The Day of the Lord is near, very near.

(2) The Pre-tribulation view is leading many people to believe that Jesus will come and “gather His elect”, then re-return to rapture His Church in secret.

But, the Bible is clear, Jesus will come and gather His elect in plain view, in the heavens, and continue to defeat the armies of antichrist.

(3) Theologians and Bible teachers who hold the Pre-tribulation view argue that some will be saved during the tribulation period.  This may be so, but, none will be saved after the Sixth Trumpet Judgment.

Revelation 9:20-21, says “The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.”

Revelation 16:8-9, also says, “The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent to give Him glory.”

And, Revelation16:10  says, “Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain, 11and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds.”

This dispute arises from the problem with timing of the Pre-tribulation view. Although no one know the day or the hour, we are told we can know the seasons. It is true that there will be those who are saved during the seasons of the first 6 Seals of the tribulation – because the Rapture will not have occurred and will not occur until the after or during the breaking of the 6th Seal.

Again, after the Sixth Trumpet Judgment, during this outpouring of The Wrath of the Lamb, none will be saved. (see Revelation 9:20-21 and Revelation 16:9-11 )

Why does it matter “when” the tribulation starts or “when” Christians are to be raptured into heaven?

  • It matters because being ready for His Return is proof of True Christianity, and only a True Believer in Christ will be guaranteed to join Christ at the sound of His Great Trumpet call and escape the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.
  • It matters because being ready requires believing and doing what He has instructed us to do in preparation for His return.
  • It matters because He has warned that “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’
  • It matters because many Christians are sitting idly waiting for an event that has already begun, and they are not DOING what He told them to do and therefore are in grave danger.
  • It matters because some of our family, friends and neighbors are completely unaware or just don’t believe that Christ will return and God’s final judgments will sentence them to outer darkness.
  • It matters because, as Christians, our faith, our convictions and our behavior are speaking louder than our words.

This is important to know because: (#1), you, as a Disciple of Jesus, need to know where you are on God’s Timeline, (#2), what it means to you, (#3) what is required for you to be ready, and, (#4) what it means to be ready for what is at hand and (#5), how to prepare.

(PS: The Pre-Wrath-Tribulation view says that (#1). The first tribulation judgement seals were broken (opened) at or just after the birth of Jesus, and (#2). Tribulation seals ONE through FIVE have been opened sequentially, progressively, overlapping, and the effects have been intensifying to this date.

The SIXTH tribulation seal is still a future event, at which time and Matthew 24, verse 29 “immediately after the tribulation of the previous days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Verse 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. Verse 31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His [c] elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.”

WHERE ARE THE GRASSROOTS IN AMERICA?

(This is a long read with multiple links to read.  It will take time, but it can be worth your time if you will take action at the end)

When one looks at the current political climate and conditions in Washington, DC, many people ask, “How did this happen and how long has this been going on?”

Rumor has it that a majority of Americans are saying, both privately and publicly that a near-senile, pathological liar is now president, (the year of this writing is 2021), and an adulteress and fraudster is now vice-president.  They also say president’s cabinet is full of decadent degenerates, perverts, communists and socialists, and that over half the electorate is whispering that the democrat party is in favor of anything and everything anti-Christian, anti-conservative and anti-traditional American.  (Not a good view of our government nor of our future.)

No matter what you believe about these things, you have to admit, times are changing .  Many people, in American and around the world, feel America is in a steep decline.

I will attempt to give a very abbreviated and non-academic review and  a progressive timeline of some contributing factors and defining moments of the decline of America and her gradual absorption into the developing One World Globalist Government.  I will also offer a “developing plan of action” if you care fight back.

(I also must add, that if you care about America and your family you will have to DO SOMETHING besides pointing out our problems and complaining.  If you decide to engage, you would at least be able to say, “I tried”.)

WHAT IS GLOBALISM?

Publications like Wikipedia or “The Economist” confuse the matter of Globalism and the aims of Globalism by asserting there are various kinds of ‘Globalism’. (disassembling the word into component parts and delving into fabricated systems).

Merriam-Webster is close by saying Globalism is “a national policy of treating the whole world as a proper sphere for political influence, similar to imperialism or internationalism”.

Socialists and communists say Globalism is the key to worldwide prosperity. But, the truth is that Globalists say it is a key to worldwide prosperity but they know it is the key to controlling people under the dictatorial rule of godless communism.

THE TIMELINE

1946

“The task before UNESCO,” said its first Director-General Julian Huxley in 1946, is “the emergence of a single world culture” by transferring “full sovereignty from separate nations to a world organization.”

The “new world order” will be a socialist, authoritarian global government and court with “global rule of law” and a “one-world economy,” according to The Commission for Global Governance.

1946 – 1992

A slow, steady march into Socialism / Communism and its variants, leading to a form of One World Government (aka, Globalism), has been promoted and instituted by various US Presidents. 

1861 – Abraham Lincoln:  Our most socialist president ever, by far.  After the civil war, his three biggest achievements were the Homestead Act, the Transcontinental Railroads and the Land Grant Colleges.

1901 – Theodore Roosevelt was simultaneously very pro business and very socialist.  He understood the need for public institutions, creating the National Park system, and boosting anti-monopoly regulation.

1933 – Franklin D Roosevelt: I think most people are aware of the New Deal, the National Relief Agency, the WPA, and Social Security in his achievements.

1963 – Lyndon Johnson skillfully exploited a widely held sense of fairness, and the philosophy of government defined by FDR to push through the programs of the Great Society: expansion of Social Security, creation of Medicare, and the implementation of Civil Rights that FDR and Ike had started.

1969 – Richard Nixon: Our most fervently anti-communist president also instituted wage and price controls, took us off the gold standard, created the EPA, OSHA and several other agencies.

1971

 THE WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM – WEC 

The World Economic Forum (WEF), based in Cologny, Geneva Canton, Switzerland, is an international NGO, founded on 24 January 1971. The WEF’s mission is stated as “committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas”.

The World Economic Forum and its annual meeting in Davos are criticised regarding the public cost of security, the formation of a wealthy global elite without attachment to the broader societies, undemocratic decision processes, gender issues and a lack of financial transparency.

The WEC is a cover for the formation and implementation of a One World Government.

 AGENDA 21

Agenda 21 initially claimed to be a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment. Sustainable Development the U.N.- outcome documents for the Agenda21.

Agenda 21, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the Statement of principles for the Sustainable Management of Forests were adopted by more than 178 Governments at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 3 to 14 June 1992.

Although touted as ‘a non-binding resolution’ this UN agency formed The Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) in December 1992 to ensure effective follow-up of UNCED, to monitor and report on implementation of the agreements at the local, national, regional and international levels. It was agreed that a five year review of Earth Summit progress would be made in 1997 by the United Nations General Assembly meeting in special session.

Agenda 21 has now become involved in forty areas ranging from SOCIAL and ECONOMIC DIMENSIONS to poverty, consumption issues, health matters, deforestation, legal instruments and implementation and everything in between.

The United States is a signatory country to Agenda 21. But adherents quickly remind us that because Agenda 21 is “a legally non-binding statement of intent” and not a treaty, the United States Senate did not hold a formal debate or vote on it. It is therefore not considered to be law under Article Six of the United States Constitution, or say they say.

1992

However, President GEORGE H.W. BUSH was one of the 178 heads of government who signed the final text of the agreement at the Earth Summit in 1992, and in the same year Representatives NANCY PELOSI, Eliot Engel and William Broomfield spoke in support of United States House of Representatives Concurrent Resolution 353, supporting implementation of Agenda 21 in the United States.

1993

Then president, BILL CLINTON, signed a 1993 Executive Order, creating the President’s Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD) is explicitly charged with recommending a national action plan for sustainable development to the President. So, bypassing Congress, Clinton, made it law.

The PCSD is composed of leaders from government and industry, as well as from environmental, labor and civil rights organizations.

1996

“OUR GLOBAL NEIGHBORHOOD” – Report of the Commission on Global Governance

The President’s Council on Sustainable Development submitted its report, “Sustainable America: A New Consensus”, to the President in early 1996. In the absence of a multi-sectoral consensus on how to achieve sustainable development in the United States.

NOTE:  *The President’s Council on Sustainable Development was conceived to formulate recommendations for the implementation of Agenda 21 in America.

NOTE:  *In the United States, over 528 cities are members of I.C.L.E.I., an international sustainability organization that helps to implement the Agenda 21 and Local Agenda 21 concepts across the world. The United States has nearly half of the ICLEI’s global membership of 1,200 cities promoting sustainable development at a local level.

The United States also has one of the most comprehensively documented Agenda 21 status reports. In response to the opposition, Don Knapp, U.S. spokesman for the ICLEI, has said “Sustainable development is not a top-down conspiracy from the U.N., but a bottom-up push from local governments”.

(2001 – George W. Bush collaborated with democrats in congress to implement Agenda 21 socialist policies throughout American cities.)

(2009 – Barrack Obama, a darling of the US Communist party, weakened US sovereignty, pushed for a more socialist health care program 1993.)

Finally, the next World Summit on Sustainable Development will be held on February 16-18, 2022. The Globalists-Marxists now brazenly claim they will have achieved all thier objectives by the year 2032, and The Communnist-Marxist ‘utopia’, will rule the world.

THE DECLINE AND FALL

It has been the objective of Globalists, inside and outside of America, to bring America to her knees by eliminate her sovereignty, emptying her treasuries, destoying her capital based free market economy, corrupting her government and indoctrinating her citizens through her educational institutions and then merging the U.S. into the Globalist-Socialist system by these and other methods.

The foundation of global governance is a set of core values, a belief system, which contains ideas that are foreign to the American experience, and ignores other values and ideas that are precious to the American experience.

The values and ideas articulated in the Commission’s report are not new. They have been tried, under different names, in other societies. Often, the consequences have been devastating.

These values, under new names, have been emerging in UN documents since the late 1980s, and have dominated international conferences, agreements, and treaties since 1992. This set of core values underlies Agenda 21 adopted in Rio de Janeiro.

Virtually every international treaty and agreement introduced during this decade reflects this set of core values. The Commission’s recommendations to achieve global governance seek to enforce these values through the programs authorized and implemented by a global bureaucracy growing from a revitalized and restructured United Nations system.

At least three competing versions of the Future World Order crashed together in 2018 at the World Economic Forum’s gathering in Davos, Switzerland.

(1)  There was the one version  offered by a combative Donald Trump, calling for a full-scale US retreat from the current world order.

(2)  Another came from Chinese leaders who proposed a new global economic system built around Beijing.

(3)  Meanwhile, Canada’s Justin Trudeau and France’s Emmanuel Macron urged western leaders to double down on the current liberal order.

President Donald Trump and the United States have been he last obstacle to the full takover of Globalists and the implementation of an iron grip of  worldwide socialism.  THIS IS WHY DONALD TRUMP HAS BEEN REVILED BY THE LESTISTS, WORLDWIDE.

Once this Globalist movement is declared as complete, a series of events, known as the 5th and 6th Seals of the Great Tribulation will begin, and God will judge the world for its wickedness.

It would be a mistake to dismiss their speeches as empty grandstanding. This debate is deadly serious. The outcomes will likely determine the future of global stability and the security and prosperity of everyone. If the leaders of major countries and international organizations cannot see eye to eye, we are in for a very rough ride. Rather than withdraw, what is needed more than ever are new ideas, institutions and blueprints to navigate the coming storm.

We are living in abnormal times. The global radical Leftist Order is in an advanced state of meltdown. And as the world rapidly shifts from a uni-polar to a multi-polar reality, the international system itself is exposed to profound instability. If the situation is not handled with extreme care, the potential for a major collapse is real. The question is whether our world leaders are capable of fully understanding what is happening in real time and can muster the collective action to set new rules of the road.

WE STILL HAVE A CHOICE – but time is running out

We can either stand by and watch the final steps of this transformation of America or we can fight back.

(1)  You can do nothing.  If you do nothing, you and your children and grandchildren will live under this increasingly oppressive, godless and state-centered One World political system.

(2)  You can fight back.  You can understand what is at stake, join ourselves together and become a force – for freedom and for good.

BATTLE ORDERS:

 1.  READINESS.  This One World Government (Globalism) has been ‘forecasted’ or prophesied in the Bible.  Knowing that most of Bible prophecies have occurred, a serious minded person knows the few remaining prophecies will occur.  This is underway. You and I must BE READY.

 2.  TRAINING.  Submit your life to Jesus as Lord and for Salvation, and He will give you wisdom, strength, courage and knowledge. This is neither a philosophy nor a religious statement.  It is real and profound.  Without it, you cannot prevails in this fight.

 3.  TWO FRONTS:  The Battle we must fight is found on two fronts: (1)  In the unseen world of the Spirit  (2)  In the natural world of our earth.  Everything that is seen, comes from, originates in the unseen world.  We must engage both worlds in the correct order.

The Bible tells us how to enter these 2 worlds when it says  “Repent and enter the Kingdom of God”.  

 Jesus preached and taught extensively on this matter and  said we are to “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17)  

Even if you are a skeptic, you must, please consider that this Kingdom is a very real place.  It is described by way of a  metaphor –  but it is no metaphor.  It is a real place we can and must possess in these last days.  Jesus centers His teaching to His disciples around this Truth, telling them they must enter the Kingdom of God to fight evil and to continue His Works until He returns.

 4.  You must know that the time of this evil and satanic One World Global government is at hand.  There is no time left for preparation, it is time to fight.

 6. PREPARE:  There is little-to-no-time left for preparation – it is time to fight back.

(c)  Watch Trump’s next moves.  You will get an idea where the resistance is forming by watching his moves.  You can follow along, join and we must support this movement.

(d)  Learn to ‘go underground’.  Learn and employ privacy techniques. Examples:

(1)  Use a VPN for your internet usage.

(2)  Use encrypted email servers

(3) Use alternatives to Amazon, FACEBOOK and Google and G-mail (look to Mozilla Firefox fo  built-in security measures.

(4)  Learn to password protect your documents

(5)  Learn to counter and limit social media, internet and cell phone tracking methods.

YOU SHALL PERISH FROM THE LAND

Deuteronomy 4:25-31

(Please note:  A Prophecy follows this article, found at the bottom of this page)

Deuteronomy 4:25  says,“When you become the father of children and children’s children and have remained long in the land, and act corruptly, and make an idol in the form of anything, and do that which is evil in the sight of the LORD your God so as to provoke Him to anger, verse 26, I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will surely perish quickly from the land where you are going over the Jordan to possess it. You shall not live long on it, but will be utterly destroyed. Verse 27, “The LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the LORD drives you. Verse 28, “There you will serve gods, the work of man’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. Verse 29, “But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.

Verse 30. “When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice.

 Verse 31. “For the LORD your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.”

These words were spoken by Moses to all of Israel while they were still in the wilderness, across the Jordan River, preparing to enter the Promised Land:

“From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory. (Joshua 1:4)”.

These were words of instruction and a reminder for Israel to remember the all the words the Lord had commanded them.

THESE WORDS ARE ALSO PROPHETIC

Please bear with me, as I try to simplify the complexity of, first, explaining or defining biblical prophecy, and secondly, showing you, the Christian reader, why these verses from Deuteronomy are prophetic by comparing and tying them to other prophetic verses in the New and Old testaments.  THIS IS URGENT!

First, what is Biblical Prophecy?:  Prophecy, (from the Greek language is, propheteia, pronounced, prof-ay-ti’-ah): Is a discourse emanating from divine inspiration and declaring the purposes of God, whether by reproving and admonishing the wicked, or comforting the afflicted, or revealing things hidden; especially by foretelling future events;

 Prophecy begins with a declaration or an utterance.  Then it is always manifest in this natural world.  A prophecy will usually continue to repeat throughout time and will culminate only when the Perfect (Jesus) comes.  Jesus said, “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.”  (Matthew 5:18)

We must know this because Prophecy is accomplished and continues through God’s people and His creation.  We must be obedient to His Word.

First, let’s take notice of two key words, ‘distress, and ‘latter’ found, in Deuteronomy 4, Verse 30, “When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice”, the words “distress” and “in the latter days”.

The word ‘distress’ (tsar), is an adjective which can mean, “narrow, tight adversary, affliction, anguish, close, distress, enemy, flint, sorrow, strait, tribulation, trouble.”

This word is also used prophetically when referring to the ‘End Times’ or the ‘Last Days’, in Daniel 12: 1 “Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.”

This word ‘distress’, when used in reference to the ‘Last Days’, is also found in the New Testament in Romans 2:8  “but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. Verse 9, There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek,10 but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

 It is found again, in Luke 21:20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Verse 21, Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city; verse 22, because these are days of vengeance, so that all things which are written will be fulfilled. Verse 23, Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land and wrath to this people; verse 24, and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Verse 25. “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, verse 26, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Verse 27, Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Verse 28, But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

And the language and meaning in Luke 21, verse 28, is the same type and meaning as found in Deuteronomy 4, verse 31. “For the LORD your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.”

Secondly, in Deuteronomy 4, the word ‘latter’, (acharith), is a noun which can mean, “the after-part, end, the after-part, last, latter end time, which comes from ‘achar; the last or end, hence, the future.

Once again, we find wording in Daniel 12:4 “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase”, and again, in verse13, “But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age.”

Although different Hebrew words are used in Deuteronomy 4 than in Daniel 12, for “distress” and “the end”, they are related through root words and carry the same meanings. The same is true for the New Testament Greek words.  They all refer to the End Times or the Last Days of prophecy – which are upon us now!

SO, WHAT DO WE LEARN, AND WHAT CAN WE KNOW?

First, a prophecy can be considered complete and fulfilled at the consummation of the age, that is, with Jesus’ victorious return.

Secondly, this prophecy is true and applicable regardless of nationalities or geographies: Romans 2:5-12 says, “But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, verse 6, who will render to each person according to his deeds: verse 7. to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; verse 8, but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. verse 9, There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, verse 10, but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Verse 11, For there is no partiality with God. verse 12, For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law;”

DIGITAL CURRENCY & THE MARK OF THE BEAST.  Digital currency is a form of currency that is available only in digital or electronic form. It is also called digital money, electronic money, electronic currency, or cybercash.

Digital currency is a money-like asset that is primarily managed, stored or exchanged on digital computer systems, especially over the internet.  Digital currency may be recorded on a distributed database on the internet, a centralized electronic computer database owned by a company or bank, within digital files or even on a stored-value card.

Digital currencies exhibit properties similar to traditional currencies, but generally do not have a physical form, unlike currencies with printed banknotes or minted coins. This lack of physical form allows nearly instantaneous transactions over the internet and removes the cost associated with distributing notes and coins.

Usually not issued by a governmental body, virtual currencies are not considered a legal tender, and they enable ownership transfer across governmental borders. This will undoubtedly be challenged by world governments for a myriad of reasons.

These types of currencies may be used to buy physical goods and services.

Digital money can either be centralized, where there is a central point of control over the money supply (for instance, a bank), or decentralized, where the control over the money supply is predetermined or agreed upon democratically. (excerpts taken from Wikipedia).

(Caution to the reader: anytime you see the term ‘democratically’ used by any world government when it comes to your money, beware!)

So, what’s the problem with digital currency?

1.  Complete loss of privacy. Perhaps you read or heard, recently, that the Biden administration is working to require financial institutions to report any deposit over $600.00 made by or received by the average citizen. “Why”, you might ask. Control of your money and finances, control over your buying or selling, and oversight of your every move.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is one of the two final stages of the establishment of the Globalist-Marxist One World Government and the precursor of the coming anti-Christ, also known as The Beast in the Bible. The other stage is control of your health care and health care system, which is complete (see social security and medicare).

 2.  A digital or cashless economy appears to be a precursor or ‘a conditioning’ for what is to come – a time when people must accept a MARK, i.e., “an engraving or an etching, a stamp, a sign or an image, either on his or her right hand or forehead, to be able to buy or sell.

What has Digital Currency to do with, what some consider a myth, about “The Mark of The Beast”, as found in the Bible?  You read and decide (and, I will help.)

THE MARK OF THE BEAST

Revelation 13:15-18  “And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 

“And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. 

“Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.”

The Mark of The Beast – What is it?

MARK: In the Greek, ‘charagma’.
Phonetic Spelling: (khar’-ag-mah).
Definition: a stamp, impress, sculpture; engraving, a stamp, sign; properly, an engraving (etching); (figuratively) a mark providing undeniable identification, like a symbol giving irrefutable connection between parties.  A stamp, an imprinted mark: of the mark stamped on the forehead or the right hand as the badge of the followers of Antichrist.
  • “And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves,
  • to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and
  • he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark,
  • either the name of the beast or the number of his name.“

The most popular and most prevalent view of “the Mark of the Beast” is some sort of seal for the followers of Antichrist and the false prophet (the spokesperson for the Antichrist). The false prophet (the second beast) is the one who causes people to take this mark. The mark is literally placed in the hand or forehead and is not simply a card someone carries.

“Recent breakthroughs in medical implant chip and RFID technologies have increased interest in the Mark of the Beast spoken of in Revelation chapter 13. It is possible that the technology we are seeing today represents the beginning stages of what may eventually be used as the mark of the beast. It is important to realize that a medical implant chip is not the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast will be something given only to those who worship the Antichrist. Having a medical or financial microchip inserted into your right hand or forehead is not the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast will be an end-times identification required by the Antichrist in order to buy or sell, and it will be given only to those who worship the Antichrist.

“Many good expositors of Revelation differ widely as to the exact nature of the mark of the beast. Besides the implanted chip view, other speculations include an ID card, a microchip, a barcode that is tattooed into the skin, or simply a mark that identifies someone as being faithful to the Antichrist’s kingdom. This last view requires the least speculation, since it does not add any more information to what the Bible gives us. In other words, any of these things are possible, but at the same time they are all speculations. We should not spend a lot of time speculating on the precise detail”.  (GotQuestions.org)

A common erroneous perception and is that this “MARK” will be available before the “Great Tribulation Period”, that is, before the  Sixth Seal of the Scroll is opened and before the “Rapture” occurs.  This gives the impression that everyone, including professing Christians, will have to make a decision about taking this “MARK”, which is incorrect.

The giving of the Mark of the Beast, as recorded in the thirteenth chapter of the Book of Revelation, takes place between the 7th Tribulation Judgment Trumpet and the 1st Tribulation Bowl of Wrath, which is well after the rapture which occurs after or during the breaking of the 6th Tribulation Seal of the Scroll.

The 7th Tribulation Judgment Trumpet:

  • Revelation 9:20
    The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk;
  • Revelation 9:21

    and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.

  • Revelation 16:9
    Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.
  • and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds.

So, those still on the earth after the Rapture but before the 7th Trumpet, will have decided to accept or reject the Mark of The Beast, thereby declaring their allegiance to the Beast and sealing their fate for eternity.

You have been informed.  This is for real.  Now, ask yourself, “what should I do”?  This is the simplest of question to answer, but it can be the most difficult to do.  The answer is to submit yourself and give your life to Christ and be loyal to Him always.  He will forgive all your sins, give you a clean heart and a new start in life.  He will protect you and guide you through these difficult and challenging Last Days.  He has also prepared a place in His Father’s House, for all who come to Him as a child.

NASDAQ:  Digital currencies are certainly poised to impact financial systems. According to the World Economic Forum, roughly 86% of the world’s central banks are exploring the benefits and drawbacks of central bank digital currency.  ( NASDAQ.com – The future of digital currency)

The rise of Bitcoin, Ethereum and thousands of other cryptocurrencies that exist only in electronic form has led global central banks to research how national digital currencies might work.  Digital currency is any currency that’s available exclusively in electronic form. Electronic versions of currency already predominate most countries’ financial systems. CNBC:  China is arguably leading the world in developing a national digital currency, a project it has been working on since 2014.  The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) has been spearheading work on the digital yuan, a so-called central bank digital currency (CBDC) that aims to replace some of the cash in circulation. Real world trials are already underway in the world’s second-largest economy. ALLIES & CO-BELLIGERENTS

Father James Altman discusses the 167 years of warnings from the last TEN popes about the evils of socialism, and how the United States is under relentless attack by socialists NOW who openly operate in our country under sweet-sounding names like liberty, justice, love, and equality, which are really nothing more than adjectives for human exaltation, religious humanism, Gnosticism, tyranny, slavery and death.

Regardless of whether you are a CATHOLIC, a PROTESTANT, an OTHER or a “NONE” – If you love America and want to be informed beyond a suspicion or an opinion that something is seriously wrong, PLEASE watch the videos, below.

The late theologian, Frances Schaeffer, wrote about relationships and associations and our need to be careful to avoid becoming separatists, isolated from others and the world, but also not to be drawn into alliances that would compromise us and our mission.

The two terms he used were “ALLY” and “CO-BELIGERENT”.

An ALLY is a person who is a born-again and fully devoted follower of Christ with whom I can go a long way with, down any path.

A CO-BELIGERENT is someone who may not have any sufficient basis for taking the right position but takes the right positions on a single issue. I can join with this person without any danger as long as I realize that he is not an ALLY that we are cooperating only on a single issue.

1. So when it comes to issues of the common good, such as ending abortions, preserving religious freedom, healing racial divisions, or relieving poverty, we can be CO-BELLIGERENTS and cooperate with people or organizations who do not share our Christian convictions. But we must not be drawn into becoming full ALLIES and careful not to disclose detail about our organizations, personnel or our ongoing methods, lest our CO-BELLIGERENTS would use these against us on other issues.

2. Secondarily, but just as important, we are defined by our associations. This can hamper the effectiveness of our mission going forward.

3. Finally, we can be INFLUENCED by close relationships and continuing associations. Should this happen, be certain you are at risk of losing your “Savor and Light”, and if that happens you are rendered impotent.

I say this as I do not agree with most of what the Catholic Church represents, what it has done and continues to do in its faith and practices, and the insidious evil within the church. HOWEVER, there are some left in the Catholic Church who know right from wrong, love God and love America, and they are still speaking out. They are our Co-Belligerents! (for whatever reasons they continue to hang on is beyond my comprehension – I hope it is for the very same reasons Luther took a stand and, thus the Great Reformation and Protestantism. I believe the Catholic Church is way past due for a New Reformation and a new Protest.  Maybe, this is the guy?)

Next, Part II – Fr. James Altman doubles down in his widely anticipated follow up to the viral video “YOU CANNOT BE A CATHOLIC AND A DEMOCRAT” – which he maintains is the simple truth and a no-brainer statement. Altman discusses the “great tragedy” of the Church, and left-wing cancel culture – the bullying and socialist tactics used in opposition to him and other faithful Catholics.

Part I, Fr. James Altman articulates why, “YOU CANNOT BE A CATHOLIC AND A DEMOCRAT”.  (We need some Protestant pastors of ‘renown’ to speak as clearly, without fear of losing their ‘church tithes’.

Father Altman speaks forcefully about the subverting of the Church through the invasion of evil within the Church.  Altman names this evil: Socialism, Marxism, Leninism, Communism and its variants.

Take note, however, the variants of this evil are only the cloaks of secrecy and the eventual manifestation is the work of “The Dragon and the Two Beasts“.

Most importantly, we must be ‘sold out’ as fully devoted followers of Jesus and completely committed as ‘Soldiers of the Cross’.  (“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” Revelation 12:11.)

The next step to engaging and fighting this evil is to be aware that it exists;  then, we must be fully informed about the enemies battle plans, methods, techniques, whereabouts and goals.

Ephesians 6:10 instructs us, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Verse 11. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.”  We must engage the enemy where ever we find him.  Speak the word of God and do not fear, because God will give you the words as you need them!

JUSTICE

“For I, the LORD, love justice;

I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness, I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.” – Isaiah 61:8

JUSTICE: noun:

  1. The quality of being just; fairness.
  2. The principle of moral rightness; decency.
  3. Conformity to moral rightness in action or attitude; righteousness.(The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.)

“Justice is behavior or treatment that is based on what is right and fair. Just behavior acts according to what is right. Just treatment of another person means to treat them in a manner that is fair. 

“How do we determine what is right and fair? Secular scholars have debated this for thousands of years. Does a society or culture decide their own standard? When groups or individuals with different standards are in conflict, how do we know what is just?

“The Bible measures right and wrong by God’s standard. God created the world and owns and rules it, (Psalm 89:11), so what He calls just is the definition of justice. He never changes, (Hebrews. 13:8), so the standard He set at the foundation of the world is unchanged and will remain unchangeable.

“Scripture is clear that a person’s dignity and worth is not based on their ethnicity or nationality or gender or background or wealth or position or abilities or contribution, (Acts 10:34-35, Leviticus 19:33-34, Galatians 3:28, Romans 3:10-24, James 2:5-9, Ephesians 6:9, Leviticus 19:14, 1 Corinthians 12:4-26). Every person has equal inherent value because we were all created by God and bear His image (Genesis 1:27). People should therefore receive equal treatment, unless they are different in a way that matters in the question at hand.” (Crosswalk.org 3/1/2021)

A close ‘first cousin’ of Justice has to be Ethics.

  1. The science of right conduct and character; the science which treats of the nature and grounds of moral obligation and of the rules which ought to determine conduct in accordance with this obligation; the doctrine of man’s duty in respect to himself and the rights of others.
  2. The whole of the moral sciences; natural jurisprudence.
  3. A particular system of principles and rules concerning moral obligations and regard for the rights of others, whether true or false; rules of practice in respect to a single class of human actions and duties: as, social ethics; medical ethics.(The Century Dictionary.)

Then came “Situational Ethics”.  I can remember when I first heard the term “Situational Ethics”, a system of ethics by which acts are judged within their contexts instead of by categorical principles. Situational ethics holds that right and wrong are determined by context and by a desired outcome in any unique situation.

Situational ethics is different from moral relativism in that moral relativism holds that there is no right and wrong whereas situational ethics holds the situation determines right and wrong, i.e., the person decides what is right or wrong, depending on their own situation or circumstance.  Therefore, the standard for ‘right or wrong’ varies from person to person. This is undependable and inevitably creates chaos and conflict.

What ‘situational ethic’ and personal justice boils down to, throughout history, is perspective. In order to keep this simple, let me say that in the context of situational ethics and personal justice, each individual can choose how they view and apply Justice and Ethics. This is how we get so many differing worldviews and conflicting types of government. This is why we have had ‘wars and rumors of wars’ since man has roamed the earth.

Three of the most influential types of worldviews have been the Judeo-Christian ethos, Greek Reason and Logic, and Marxism and the ensuing variants of each.

The Judeo-Christian ethics, emanates from a Divine Source with a system of justice of fixed standards of right and wrong which employ reason and logic, reward and punishment. This view holds that God is supreme and mankind is made in that image; life is precious and must be cultivated for good.

The Greeks embraced reason and logic, but, with a permanent fixed standard of right and wrong base on their system of justice which they believed emanated from a deity, but, justice comes from a person’s ability to use reason and logic.  The Greek held that the individual as important, but served the importance of the state.

Marxism and it’s variants of Leninism, Communism and Socialism, reject any notion of Divinity.  It’s reason and logic has only one conclusion which is the abolition of God or anything that is not according to the philosophy that “the state is supreme”.  Their standards of justice change with situations and circumstances, but always hold that the state and the few elite leaders of the state are supreme.  Violence, deceit, terror, deprivation and death all are legitimate means to maintain control in governing.

The most successful and, arguably, the most enduring are the principles which come from the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Whether considering justice in legal terms, institutional justice, social justice, personal justice or Devine justice, the only system of justice which has brought equity, fairness, balance, dependability, trust and peaceful order, has come from the God of the Bible. It is only when mankind perverts and misuses God’s perfect system of justice, do things go bad for everyone – very bad, indeed.

THE ONE WORLD CHURCH

How did this happen, and what do we do?

Let’s go back to the decade of the seventies and early eighties. We were told to read our Bible, learn our Bible, apply the truth of the Bible to our lives and to teach the Bible to others.

Pulpits and many pastors were on fire for God. They preached and taught forcefully against sin, about heaven and hell, and about the amazing Grace of God and His offer of salvation through faith in Jesus.

They were exciting times to be a Christian. Many of us, who became Christians during this time, felt like we had found a new lease on life and were encouraged to take possession of our relationship with God as our own. We were encouraged to imitate Jesus in every way. Ego, pride, materialism were things of the past. Fear, doubt, worry, guilt and shame were cast aside. Drugs, alcohol, permissive sex were shunned. We were new creatures, soldier of the Cross!

With this newfound freedom, many were excited to tell others about Jesus, and we were encouraged to learn more and to become true disciples of Jesus.

Our churches offered Sunday school classes teaching about the Bible and evening classes which encouraged us to learn the Bible. We attended conferences which taught all about the Bible, often in grand scale. Learning and teaching the Bible was the emphasis for Christians in our churches for decades.

A Shift Occurred – “learning” had become the primary focus”.

An entire decade of Christians had learned their Bible, but because “learning” had become the primary focus, it had become routine. Study for the sake of studying. The up-and-coming seminary graduates became pastors. And these new leaders were forging ahead with new ideas foreign to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Traditions and rituals were retired. The old hymns and hymnals were discarded. New terms like “social justice”, “missional” and “spiritual formation” were coined and the intent behind these terms was a reemergence of a modern Gnosticism. A new term was coined: Globalism.

“Gnosticism (from Ancient Greek: γνωστικός gnōstikós, “having knowledge”) is a collection of ancient religious ideas and systems which originated in the first century AD among early Christian and Jewish sects.

These various groups emphasized personal spiritual knowledge (gnosis) over orthodox teachings, traditions, and ecclesiastical authority.

Viewing material existence as flawed or evil, Gnostics considered the principal element of salvation to be direct knowledge of the supreme divinity in the form of mystical or esoteric insight. Many Gnostic texts deal not in concepts of sin and repentance, but with illusion and enlightenment.

RELIGIOUS HUMANISM We noticed that the new Establishment Church leadership had changed. They were not always doing what the Bible said to do in the way the Bible said to do it. They were reinterpreting the Word of God to fit the postmodern age. They were teaching a Religious Humanism brought forth from the loins of Marxism.

Pulpits and sermons were muted by the 501(c)(3) government tax exemption clause. Preaching against sin was being modified by social justice advocates and cheap grace ideologies. The Church was being taught to ‘fit into the world’s model’ in order to be more acceptable.

A resistance to the New Establishment church is born

We, The Body of Christ, discovered the New Establishment church, it’s leaders, pastors, teachers and theologians really had no plan beyond teaching a ‘new theology‘ (see Gnostics) being passed off as the Bible, and teaching it inside the church.  It is a Religious Humanism brought forth from the loins of Marxism.

The Church also become predominantly program-oriented, pastor driven, monetized and is being sold on the open market. Congregations became “religious consumers”. A person could now shop churches until they found the one that best suited their views, wants and personal needs.

The new Establishment Church had the idea to keep church members busy with activities such as mothers mornings out, cooking classes, retirement planning classes, social gatherings, social outings and trips, that have little to do with the Bible. This mollified the church, making the members feel like they were accomplishing something.

But, the new Establishment Church seemed to have failed to plan what would come next after the “Learn your Bible” era.

As a result, many Christians began to “Go and make disciples, teaching them to observe all that Jesus had taught” on their own. They were the new resistance, the new remnant.

Some of these pioneers started small group Church gatherings, baptizing new believers, laying hands on the sick and sending others to do the same. Home Bible studies like Stone Croft and Bible Study Fellowship became popular. House churches began to spring up.

Organizations like Calvary Chapel, self-described as a “movement”, under the leadership of Pastor Chuck Smith, started and grew into a national movement.

Pastor Henry Blackaby’s study, “Experiencing God” and men like Ralph Neighbors provided leadership in areas of personal evangelism, the Home Church movement.

Books like “Pagan Christianity” by George Barna and Frank Viola, helped fuel this new movement with ideas.

Most of the New Establishment Church found all of these developments troubling. It was disrupting their program to tighten their grip on the direction of the church in post-modern America by promoting their new model of church.

So, began a concerted effort by the New Religious-Humanist Establishment to put things into their predetermined denominational order.

By the early 2000s, we began to hear terms from the pulpit to describe the brave new Christian movement as “Rogue Christians”, “Loose cannon Christians”, “Lone Ranger Christians”.

We heard pastoral sermons describing the new resistance or Remnant Christian movement as “Bible Boys” or “Bible Girls” and “Who do they think they are, causing all this trouble?”, “We can’t allow this in our church because they might teach heresy or something” or, “They aren’t legitimate, they didn’t go to seminary.”

The New Establishment Church formulated religious-political movements, hired legal teams, established satellite networks and began to furiously compete with one another.

Church pastors shifted away from the role of a Biblical pastor, who cared for God’s Flock, visited the sick, shut-ins, prayed with the church members, and who spent time with his church family. They had moved toward a religious-business model of CEO-types, professional “teaching-pastors”, executive-pastors, and the like.

It has now become normal, that in order to see your own pastor, you need an appointment and some luck.

The new “Church business-model” and business plans for “exponential growth” and raising and making money has created a phenomenon of widespread church bankruptcies, pastor burnout, the need for conflict resolution teams.

The move toward a religious-business model for the church, confirmed the need for the 501(c)(3) government approved church. It had fully emerged.

The Church is adrift. We are sheep without a shepherd.

Ezekiel 34:6

“My flock wandered through all the mountains and on every high hill; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them.”

Verse 7.  “Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: Verse 8. “As I live,” declares the Lord GOD, “surely because My flock has become a prey, My flock has even become food for all the beasts of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but rather the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock;

Verse 9. “Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 10‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep. So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will deliver My flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them.”

The words in the church sound familiar. But it has changed. Jesus warned about this. He told us many would come saying “I am the Christ”. We expected some guy in robes, I guess. But it is the false gospel of many false teachers in the church.

THE FALSE CHURCH IS HERE – THE APOSTASY HAS BEGUN

So, what does this all mean, and what are we to do about it? We are to be prepared as the early Church learned.

Be ready for what is at hand, because we are expected to endure to the end of our appointed time, then God will intervene and take us home.

Where Do We Go From Here?

I have admired and listened to Dr. David Jeremiah for 35 years.  Over the last 14 years, however, I have not agreed with his view of Bible eschatology.  I listened to a recent message by Dr. Jeremiah, on his website, title, “Where do we go from here?”  In that message he gave 3 points on HOW we are to respond to the troubles in these Last Days:

#1. Worship the Glorified Christ – the more you worship, the less you worry

#2. Embrace your Global Mission – We have a mission that is global.  Take the Gospel to the entire globe.

#3. Anticipate your glorious Hope – Never fear.  He is coming back to establish His eternal Kingdom.

(Oh.  And, yes.  #4. Buy his books.)

So, this is the answer of “Where we go from here”?

(1) We stare skyward, worship, embrace evangelism and anticipate Jesus’ return.  Let’s get honest, here.

(2) We sit in church. We do that pretty well.

(3) We worship.  We do that OK, probably once or twice a week for about 15 minutes each time.

(4)  We evangelize the world.  We are not doing to good at that one.  We actually ‘give, because we can’t or won’t GO’.  We tend to stay separate from the world and leave this one up to the ‘professionals’.

(5)  We are really good at anticipating Jesus’ return, because most Christians just ‘stare skyward’, but, honestly, we do very little more than that.

So, I guess what Dr. Jeremiah is saying is nothing new for the 20th and 21st centuries.  But, he is not alone in this type of teaching and assessment.  (Could this may be reason the church and church attendance is in decline?)

I get the feeling that most ‘religious leaders’ are concerned, but, really don’t know what to do beyond what they have listed (and, for certain, those are good things.

LET’S BE CLEAR:  Jesus has sent us on His Mission.  And, God has never, ever, been gentle to those who shirk or draw back from the Mission. Even Jesus says, “Why do you call me Lord, when you do not do the things I have told you?  I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work lawlessness.”

Somehow, most preachers think the ‘End Times’ (more correctly, Last Days), will NOT intensify until the Church is raptured off the earth.

BUT LET ME BE CLEAR – BECAUSE THE BIBLE IS ABUNDANTLY CLEAR –  there will be an intensifying BEFORE the “rapture”.  And, you must be ready or you will pay a high price.

(Please note:  The following Bible verses on this matter are in red text , and my commentaries are in parentheses and are color coded blue)

Matthew 24:4 says, “And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.

(this includes misinformed pastors, preachers, bible teachers)

Verse 5.  “For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ, and they will lead many astray.

(1) this can be someone literally saying ‘I am the Christ’, (2) but, it is more likely it will be someone who considers themselves as an emissary of Christ – such as ‘ordained pastors’ – who speak for Christ, but are blindly following denominational doctrine which are incorrect; or, (3) as we are clearly seeing, now, in our day, it is ‘institutional deception’, where entire denominations fall away from the clear teachings of Jesus and lead millions astray.

Verse 6.  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. Verse 7.  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 

There have been wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes since recorded history.  So, concerning the ‘End Times’, which wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes should we refer to?  These things must occur in conjunction with ALL THE SIGNS and WARNING from Jesus and the Bible.

And, don’t miss the little phrase, “but the end is not yet”, as verse eight will elaborate.

Verse 8.  All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

The phrase “the beginning of birth pangs” is a statement made by Jesus in or around the year AD 30 and is a translation of the Greek archē ōdin (ἀρχή ὠδίν). The meaning of the phrase, translated in the KJV as “the beginning of sorrows” is a direct reference to preliminary birth pangs that ultimately lead to the full scale contractions and travail, which leads to the actual birth.

Recognizing the Old Testament reference that Jesus was hearkening to is an essential, but often overlooked key to determining the timing of the prophecy. Jesus was pointing his disciples to two key passages from the prophet Isaiah.

The first passage is Isaiah 26, a portion of Scripture found in the middle of what is sometimes referred to as “Isaiah’s little apocalypse”. There, the Lord speaks through Isaiah, specifically contrasting the expectations of the Jewish people regarding deliverance, redemption and physical resurrection with the reality of the pain, suffering and travail that they had corporately experienced. In verses 16-18, the complaint of Israel is raised that despite having endured the great suffering of labor, the expected “birth” of deliverance, redemption and resurrection had not arrived (the preceeding 3 paragraphs were taken from the “Daniel Training Network”.)

This makes clear that the Last Days and the opening of the tribulation Seals began in our around AD 30.  Other references which confirm this date are…

Hebrews 1:2,

Hebrews 9:26,

Acts 2:14-17,

2 Timothy 3:1,

1 Peter 1:20,

1 Peter 4:7,

2 Peter 3:3. 

…spoken by Jesus and the Apostles Paul, Peter and Timothy.

Verse 9. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.

This is so clear and in such plain language, I regret having to point it out:  “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death”.  So, “YOU  WILL BE DELIVERED UP TO TRIBULATION”.  How much more intense can this be, than being put to death for Jesus name’s sake? The tribulation, Seals 1 through 4 have been described as having started, by Jesus, Himself, in the year A.D. 30.

Verse 10. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.

First – This is the hallmark of the Great Apostasy, found in these verses and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4. Furthermore, “And then” translates from the Greek word, “tote”, in this case means of the future, also in consecution, i.e., the act of following, or the condition of being in a series; that which is consecutive; succession; sequence.

Secondly – “fall away” is the Greek word ‘skandalizó’ and means to entrap, i.e., trip up (figuratively, stumble) or entice to sin, apostasy or displeasure.

This is further explained in the following verses and can also be found in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4. For more detail see “Has the Great Apostasy begun?”.

Verses 11-14.  And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

Verses 11 through 14 give us a major time line identifier through a concurrence of events: (1) many false prophets will arise and lead many astray; (2) lawlessness will be increased; (3) the love of many will grow cold.

“The one who endures to the end”, must be kept in context of the surrounding verses.  So, the one who endures to the end of these events – Which Events? – The tribulation seals ONE through FIVE.

“And then the end will come”.  Once again, this is clear, plain, face-value language. After these first FIVE TRIBULATION SEALS, which began in or around AD 30, and have continued progressively to overlap and gain in intensity, THE END WILL COME.

Matthew 24:29, says, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light

Perhaps it would be a good idea to read this verse again. It begins with “IMMEDIATELY AFTER the tribulation of those days”.  This is rich with information.

 The tribulation of THOSE DAYS are the days from AD 30 through the current date; tribulation Seals ONE through FIVE.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days”, should explain itself.  But, just in case, let me say, “THOSE DAYS” refers to the days already discussed (tribulation Seals One through Five).  Now , Jesus is moving our attention to what follows the first 5 Seals of the tribulation:  THE SIXTH SEAL.)

“the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light” is also found in Revelation 6:12-16, and uses the exact language.  It is the SIXTH SEAL of the tribulation, which is yet a FUTURE EVENT.

NOTE:  ANYONE WHO SUGGESTS OR SAYS THESE VERSES ARE SIMPLY METAPHORICAL WILL NOT PLAY OUT AS DESCRIBED, ARE FALSE PROPHETS, FALSE TEACHERS AND ARE AIDING THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST. (Other places in Revelation, you will find metaphors, allegories, imagery and similes to describe what was indescribable, such as, “The Lamb of God” to describe Jesus, “The Dragon” to describe Satan, or “The Four Beasts” to describe Satan, Babylon and Lucifer. The reader must learn to distinguish the difference.)

Many protestant pastors, preachers and Bible teachers adhere firmly to the John Nelson Darby version of the pre-tribulation rapture. These people with good intentions and most are good men and women, yet, they are sorely misinformed; or, perhaps, some are lazy in their study of scriptures or they could be ignorant about what scriptures say and mean. None-the-less, they are guilty of false teaching and of teaching a false prophecy.

What I have described known as the Pre-Tribulation, Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church. Here is a link and several videos and teachings explaining the Pre-Tribulation Pre Wrath Rapture of the Church.

 Listen, friends. Things are getting worse, even as I write this, and, things are going to get a lot worse as the time of the Rapture (The 6th Tribulation Seal) draws near.  You and I need to prepare, both Spiritually and physically, for these difficult times.

I have presented the Spiritual side of the coming day of the Great Tribulation and of the coming day of God’s Wrath in this article.

 Please go to these links, “New World Order”, also, “Agenda-21, Cover of the U.N., One World Government”, and find the physical and earthly manifestation of this cosmic battle and of the spirit of anti-Christ, which is already at work.

The Bible tells us to be ready, for we do not know the day nor the hour when the Lord will return, and if you did know, you would be on the alert, “and would not have allowed your house to be broken into”. For the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

In conclusion, let me ask you, if you knew a hurricane or a major destructive storm was coming, what would you do to get ready?  (Please answer this.  Make a short list using these lines).  I would:

A Major ‘Storm’ is Arriving as I write these words.  We must be ready!

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE READY

Although, the things I have listed below will not ‘save you’, they are some things we should consider doing while we expectantly await His Return to take us to our Eternal Home:

IMPORTANT FOOTNOTE:  Don’t be deceived.  There is only ONE Second Coming of Christ.  There will be only ONE Rapture.  There will be only ONE Armageddon.

Know your Bible.  Know the sequence.  Be Ready, found doing as He has said.  Endure to the end and be saved !!

The 2nd Advent of Christ (the second coming of Jesus) is one event which can be seen from TWO PERSPECTIVES:  One perspective as seen from the earth;  the other perspective, from John’s prophetic vision, is seen as it unfolds  – a Spiritual and Heavenly perspective!

Look at it this way:   When Hurricane Irma hit the U.S. it was a category 5 storm;  As Irma progressed up the peninsula of Florida, it became a category 4 storm;  then as it entered Alabama it became a category 3 storm;  and finally as it entered Georgia, Irma became a tropical storm; and later as it entered Tennessee, it became a rain event.

To those in the various states which hurricane Irma entered, it would have appeared to them that Irma might have been 5 different storms, occurring consecutively; first a Category 5 storm, then, a Category 4 storm, then, a Category 3 hurricane, then, a Tropical storm, and, finally, a rain event.  But if viewed “From Above” it was ONE CONTINUOUS STORM, progressively unfolding to its conclusion.

SO IT IS WITH THE ‘LAST DAYS’ AND THE 2nd COMING OF JESUS as seen in the breaking of the ‘Seven Seals of the Book’ as recorded in Revelation chapters 5,6,7 and 8; although, the breaking of each Seal may seem like seven different events, if viewed “from above” it is ONE CONTINUOUS EVENT (eschatological STORM), progressively unfolding to its conclusion.

  • Breaking of the 6th Seal of the Tribulation,
  • The beginning of the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord,
  • The beginning of Daniel’s 70th Week also known as the final 7 years of the Great Tribulation,
  • Jesus’ SECOND ADVENT,
  • The Rapture of the Church,
  • The heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True,
  • From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and
  • He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty

Why does it matter?

  • Jesus tells us that it matters because we must ‘endure to the end’ and knowing the sequence of events will help us to ‘not lose heart and faint’.
  • The apostle Paul tells us that it matters, because “God takes no pleasure in the one who shrinks back”, and knowing that our ‘salvation draw near’ will help us endure to the end.
  • Jesus tells us it matters and that we must stay alert and be found doing what He has commanded when He returns, or we may be “assigned a place with the hypocrites”. Knowing the day is near will help us stay focused and ready for His return.

HAVE WE ENTERED THE SEAL JUDGMENTS OF THE TRIBULATION?

 

Why does it matter?

I have been a Practicing Christian since 1977. I have heard the doctrine of the “Rapture” preached and discussed over the last 36 years. I have studied the subject while taking classes in Bible College. The entire matter is
confusing and difficult to understand. But, thanks to this very complexity, I have been able to ignore the controversies and the biblical inconsistencies. I had no choice. It was too complicated. So, I just accepted the prevalent teaching of my denomination: The rapture will happen at the sound of a heavenly trumpet and if I am a Christian I will be miraculously snatched up into heaven ‘in a twinkling of an eye’. Matter closed. Or is it closed?

In 1996 a pastor and friend asked me to co-teach a class about the ‘rapture’ and the biblical tribulation. I was instructed to teach from the position of ‘pre-tribulation rapture’ and my friend would teach on ‘post tribulation rapture’. It took me one year to prepare. That year was the genesis that fixed my view on the rapture, and it was different than I expected. Over the next 19 years my view matured and has galvanized into a certainty. And that certainty has developed into an “Urgency”. What if I were to say, “We may have already entered the Seal Judgments? Would you stop reading at this point? Let me challenge you to read on and you decide.
I am certain that we have already entered the Seal Judgments and most Christians are not ready for what is coming, and in fact, may be at hand.

 

The Seal Judgments of the book of Revelation.

Interestingly, the idea or doctrine of a biblical ‘Rapture’ was introduced and made popular in the early 1900’s. Since that time, most doctrines of eschatology (the study of Biblical End Times) have been constructed to fit particular denominational belief systems. So, it is no wonder that there are multiple views of the timing of the rapture and the tribulation period. The plain language of the bible has been rearranged to fit certain denominational belief systems, so, most views of the rapture have become impossibly confusing and irrational. If we follow Biblical reason, then the facts, timing and warnings related to biblical eschatology begin to make sense.

If the subject of the Rapture and a seven year Tribulation are kept in context of the entire Bible and, whenever possible, are taken at face-value, an amazingly clear picture emerges. The Bible teaches and warns about
· A “tribulation period”, also known as “Times of Distress” followed by
· “A GREAT TRUMPET sounding” and “GATHER(ing) TOGETHER (of) His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other”, followed by
· “A Great Tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.”, also known as the “Wrath of the Lamb” or the “Great and Terrible Day of the Lord”.

And, since the Bible is meant to address every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues the events addressed by the coming tribulation are global in scope. So, it would appear the first Seal of Revelation has been broken (as early as the early 1900’s; World War I began in 1914). If we hear the words of Jesus and follow the evidence, the facts, the
timing and the warnings of the coming Rapture and Tribulation begin to make sense.

 

Evangelical Christians have been taught that they will be ‘Raptured’ from the earth before the tribulation begins with the breaking of the first Seal of the Book of Revelation.

Many churches teach that to become a Christian all one has to do is to make a simple statement of faith. Then, they may sit back, assured of being raptured and going to heaven before the first Seal of the Tribulation is broken thereby spared the discomfort of the tribulation.

 

But is that proof enough? What about repentance from the former life? What about being transformed in our thinking and practice and following the life of Jesus, now?

The tenth chapter of the book of Romans tells us “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness (right living), and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

That salvation reveals a transformation in attitude and behavior which is the same as Jesus Christ.

If our attitude and behavior are anything less than that of Christ, we must consider the consequences.Why does it matter?

Why does it matter “when” the tribulation starts or “when” Christians are to be raptured into heavens?

  • It matters because being ready for His Return is proof of True Christianity and only a True Believer in Christ will be guaranteed to join Christ at the sound of His Great Trumpet call and escape the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.
    ·It matters because being ready requires believing and doing what He has instructed us to do in preparation for His return.
    ·It matters because He has warned that “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’
    ·It matters because many Christians are sitting idly waiting for an event that has already begun and they are not DOING what He told them to do and therefore are in grave danger.
    ·It matters because some of our family, friends and neighbors are completely unaware or just don’t believe that Christ will return and God’s final judgments will sentence them to outer darkness.

Because, as Christians, our faith, our convictions and our behavior
Are speaking louder than our words.

 

There are many apparent contradictions regarding the doctrine of the Rapture and the Tribulation and much debate.

So, what does the bible actually say about this End of Days?
More specifically, what did Jesus tell His disciples and the rest of the listening and believing world what about what is coming?
What we can expect to happen? What are we to do in order to ‘get ready’ and ‘stay ready’ until He returns to claim His Church?
We must turn to the Bible to find our answers.
The Bible says it is “God Breathed” and useful. (All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 2 Timothy 3:16).

God did not write or ‘breathe’ His message to us in an unintelligible or useless language. God has spoken through His prophets and His written Word and He meant for us to be able to understand what He says.

If you can put aside doctrinal and theological constraints that have sprung from denominational differences, you may get a clearer understanding of this subject.

Jesus’ disciples were asking some of the very same questions we are asking today (Matthew 24:3) “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”  Then Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.” Matthew 24:4

I see two things here that give a starting point in our discussions and preparations and a way to adjust our “2st Century thinking” to Jesus’ intent.

 

  1. We are to be careful about deception regarding these matters. There are many voices giving advice. Jesus is saying, by “stay focused on My Word”. As we engage in this End Times warfare, the weapons of our warfare are not of
    the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We do that by keeping a biblical view and keep the scriptures we are studying in context of the entire bible teaching.
  2. It is easy to spot some nutcase saying “Hey, over here! I’m Jesus! I’m back! Listen and follow me!!” Very few Christians would fall for that. But institutional deception is a problem. There is a brand of Christianity and
    church in this 21st century (a reemergence of Gnosticism and mysticism) that is far from the Truth and is not thebody of Christ. It takes forms of commercialism or that of a narcissistic religion. It is a fake. It is not the
    “Christianity” of Jesus Christ. AND MANY ARE BEING MISLEAD.With this in mind, we must clear some of the non-biblical religious clutter of tradition, lore and attitudes of the 19th, 20th and 21st century the institutional church has invented.
    The dominant teaching among Evangelicals and Protestants is that of a Pre-tribulation Rapture. I agree that Christians can expect God to rescue or ‘rapture’ the church away from earth before The Wrath of the Lamb or the Great Tribulation. But, the bible is also clear that the church is to be purged, cleansed, purified and redeemed before being ‘raptured’ (Daniel 12:1 – 10).

“THE question” we should be asking is WHEN do the seven years of the Great Tribulation begin. We have been taught and it has been generally accepted as doctrine that the tribulation period starts with the breaking of the FIRST SEAL found in Revelation 5:1.

 

This is correct – sort of.

We should look at the distinctions the bible makes regarding uses of the words “tribulation”, the “Great Tribulation”, the “Wrath of the Lamb”, the “times of distress”, and the “times of sorrow” to get an accurate picture and context. And I believe these distinctions are important for our understanding of the timing of these events and for our preparedness.

 

WHY COULD THIS DISTINCTION BE IMPORTANT – WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?

It is important because the context, the uses and meanings of these various words which refer to Tribulation affect our attitudes and our motivation for GETTING and STAYING READY for His return. They also affect our view of the timing of the coming the time of Tribulation and the Great Tribulation.

Many Christians think that, by repeating a simple formulaic statement, they have done all that is necessary to GET READY for Christ’s return and will go to heaven or be “raptured” from the earth before the tribulation period because they…

•Walked the aisle at church,
•filled out a commitment card
•announced I AM A BELIVER.

They believe they are saved and nothing more is necessary. In other words, they became a member of a local church, They tithe some small portion of their income, they get involved in the local church activities, going on a missions trip or any combination of good works.

But is this correct?

What does Jesus and the bible say? It is urgent that we understand what Jesus and the bible actually says about the coming Great Day of Wrath, The Great Tribulation and what it really means to GET READY and STAY READY and know WHY these things are urgent and important.

So, I will propose, for clarity, a chronological placement of the events of The Great Tribulation in relation to tribulation EVENTS described by Jesus and John the Revalator, and what Jesus and His Word says about getting
ready!

The placement of the GREAT TRIBULATION event can be seen in other places in the bible, but I will focus on the books of Matthew and Revelation.

 

FIRST EVENT from MATTHEW

Jesus says “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars Matt 5:6 (also see Rev 5:1) . See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.

We have been lead to view these events from a nationalistic perspective. In other words, if it’s happening in the USA it must be true. But we should watch for world events with a focus in Israel.

Also, notice that Jesus instructed, ”but that is not yet the end”.

This FIRST EVENT as described by Jesus in Matthew 24:6 can be correlated to a sign offered by John in Revelation 5:1 as the FIRST SEAL being broken, incidentally, by the LAMB Himself (Jesus).

”Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.” Rev 5: 1, verse 2.  “I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.”

It is interesting here that although a ‘bow’ is carried no arrows are present (coincidence?) and a crown (authority) is given. This has been described as a time of political intrigue and imperialistic nation-building on a world-wide scale. This event has been a dominant feature of the past century. This event is to be followed by another world-wide event related to the second seal in Matthew and Revelation (which would preclude regional or pre-Christ events).

There are world-wide movements to combine governments, financial institutions, religions, educational systems, societies, labor, technologies, militaries and more. The United Nations is what most point toward. Some were watching the European Union. But now, the G20 is the latest rebuilding of the “The tower of Babel”. But, do not doubt that the Globalist movement is real.

THE SECOND EVENT from MATTHEW

Jesus says in Matt 24:7  “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom (see Rev 5:3).

There is now an intensifying of WORLD EVENTS also seen in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 5:3 “When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come.” verse 4.  And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.

Interestingly, World War I is described as the Great War . It was the first
war recognized a WORLD WAR. It began in 1914 and lasted until 1918. But this would hardly seem to fit neatly into a seven year tribulation period.

Then we had World War II which began in 1939 and lasted until 1945. Now we have two WORLD WARS that spanned a combined ten years. The entire Great Tribulation clearly will last only seven years.

So, how do these WORLD WAR events relate to prophecy or should they?

Jesus has already given us instruction that this is not yet the end and He will give further instruction about the timing of these events in Matthew 24 verse 8.

THIRD & FOURTH EVENTS from MATTHEW

Jesus says in Matt 24:7 and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes (see Rev 5:5-8).

It is important that we see and understand what Jesus is TEACHING corresponds with the unfolding of the Tribulation period as recorded in Revelation. It will give us clear instruction, not only of what is coming but
HOW TO PREPARE for these days.

Revelation 5:5,  “When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a enarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.”

Revelation 5:7,  “When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come” I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.

We continue to see a clear correlation between Jesus’ descriptions of the “coming troubles” in Matthew to John’s depiction of the actual breaking of the seals in the book of Revelation.

Please remember: We are seeing Jesus describe the ‘beginning’ of the tribulation in Matthew 24 and the corresponding ‘beginning’ of the tribulation as Jesus actually breaks the Seals of the Books in Revelation.

But, the Rapture has not yet occurred. This will present clear evidence that we will endure the tribulation through the breaking of the Sixth Seal. Jesus tell us, “Do not fear. This is not yet the end”. But we must prepare!

Next we get some clarification on events and the time or placement of the events:

 

Interlude – Time Marker – Instruction

Here, we are provided an interlude and a “time marker of instruction”. This is a good place to get our bearings.

Matthew 24: 8 “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
a. Jesus tell us this is NOT THE END but MERELY THE BEGINNING and remember there is no evidence the church has not been RAPTURED yet.
b. And He calls the beginning of birth pangs. This is similar to tribulation in the idea of discomfort or suffering.
c. But the word describes a much different intensity of pressing or squeezing and pain than the GREAT Tribulation or the Wrath of the Lamb, which comes later.

There are several places in scriptures (Daniel, Matthew, Revelation) that use interchangeable worlds to describe ‘birth pangs’, ‘times of distress’, ‘times of sorrow’ and ‘tribulation’. However, there are other words such as ‘Great
Tribulation’ and ‘Wrath of the Lamb’ that are a harbinger for a ‘time of trouble such as the world has never seen before and never will see again’. Is there is a distinction between the uses of these words that will give us a WARNING useful to our salvation our preparation and our enduring to the end?

 

FIFTH EVENT from MATTHEW

Jesus says, in Matthew 24:9, “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.”

Are we are seeing a worldwide precursor to this prediction in our day? A return to the type of persecution the early church suffered? The book of Revelation puts it this way:

Rev 5: 9, “When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud
voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?“ And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.

We saw a great persecution of the early Christians and we have seen terrible persecution of Christians throughout our brief history and those Christians will be included in this SEAL  Jesus is clearly referring to a ‘falling away’ or an apostasy in the latter days. We must remember to keep these scriptures and Jesus discussion in the context it was given.

 

These next verses give us an interlude or a recapitulation which we can use to define the chronology of these events. Jesus is describing terrible times, but they pale in comparison to what is getting ready to happen. The next EVENTS are so terrible that Jesus stops His discourse and emphasizes what is next and how to GET READY.

Interlude – Time Markers – Instruction, Matthew 24:11-20

NOTE: Here is a ‘recap’ of the series of events and warning so far and another ‘time line marker’ in Matthew 24.

Matthew 24:11 “Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.
Verse 12. “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.
Verse 13. “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
Verse 14. “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Verse 15. “Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),
Verse 16.  “then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.
Verse 17.. “Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in his house.
Verse 18.  “Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak.
Verse 19. “But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
Verse 20. “But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:
(1) The next verse begins with the words, “FOR THEN…”
• Not “before then”,
• Not “as it has been”
In other words, now that the preceding events have been completed and the seals have been broken NOW there will be a GREAT TRIBLULATION…
(2) Many theologians, preachers and bible teachers, who subscribe to the doctrine of a pre-tribulation rapture occurring before the First Seal event, consider verses 15 through 20 as having already occurred.

However, Jesus is clear that He is telling His disciples of a coming event. For and example, see this excerpt taken from a “pulpit commentary” on  Matthew 24 Verse 16. – Then; i.e. when they shall see “the abomination of desolation,” etc. Them which be in Judaea. Not only in Jerusalem, but in its vicinity, as most exposed to danger from the invading army. Flee into (ἐπὶ, over) the mountains. The Christians seem to have taken this advice when the city was attacked by Costius Gallus, about A.D. , some three or more years
before the siege under Vespasian. Gallus had appeared before the walls, and apparently had every hope of taking the city, when, for some reason not certainly known (either owing to a supposed defeat, or ignorance of his own
success, or the advice of his generals), he suddenly withdrew his forces (Josephus, ‘Bell. Jud.,’ 2:19, 6, 7). The Christians, bearing Christ’s warning in mind, and having, as we may conjecture, seen the predicted sign, took the
opportunity of flight from the doomed city, and made their escape to Pella, a town of Decapotis, southeast of Bethshean, and the ruins of which are known now by the name of Fahil. Euschius probably refers to this migration (‘Hist. Eccl.,’ 3:5), narrating that, owing to a certain revelation given to holy men among them, the whole body of the Church, before the war, removed across the Jordan to Pella, and dwelt there in safety during those troublous times.

Jesus is clear that He is telling His disciples what is yet to come.

BIBLE PROPHECY, FREQUENTLY, HAS HISTORICAL PRECURSORY EVENTS.

 

 

(Matthew 24 verses 21 and 29 describe this EVENT. Verses 22 through 28 give warnings and instructions for preparedness.)

21 “For then there will be a GREAT TRIBULTION, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.

 

Please pay special attention these words in verse 21:
*FOR THEN – the “times of distress” or “the birth pangs” are now finished
*GREAT Tribulation – The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord is beginning
*Such as not occurred since the beginning of the world until now
*nor ever will

Something new is happening. The intensity is going up significantly. THERE IS A TIME MARKER AT THIS POINT!

Read verses 22 through 28 carefully and absorb these dire warnings and instructions.

This is the time the Lord will appear and take His Church from the earth.

 

Matthew 24:22, “Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
Verse 23. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him.
Verse 24. “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
Verse 25. “Behold, I have told you in advance.
Verse 26. “So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them.
Verse 27. “For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Verse 28. “Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.
Verse 29. “But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

THE SIXTH SEAL of REVELATION BEGINS

Revelation 6:12,  “I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; verse 13. and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.
Verse 14. The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Verse 15. Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; verse 16 and they *said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the
throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb*

NOW IT IS BEGINNING. “THE GREAT TRIBULATION”. Matthew 24:21. “THE WRATH OF THE LAMB”.  Revelation 6:16 (The breaking of the 6th Seal continues through Revelation 7:17)

 

Now is one of greatest events ever to be witnessed by man .

SEVENTH EVENT from MATTHEW

Matthew 24:30, “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory.
During and immediately after the SIXTH SEAL of Revelation.

Rev 7: 1, “After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from
the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads.“

Everything is coming to a crescendo.

 

God stops the events in progress and the breaking of the seals for a moment and all eyes are focused on the heavens.  All the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:20)

The winds stops blowing and an angel ascends from the rising of the sun with the seal of the living God, announcing the SEALING of the ond-servants of our God and the gathering of His Elect!

The winds have been stopped. The events of the End of Days are paused. God sends forth His angels with a great TRUMPET.

This is the “EVENT” We all anxiously and eagerly anticipate.

NOTE: Some bible teachers will say this is Jesus coming to exact judgment on the earth. But read the text from Matthew 24:31.

 

EIGHTH EVENT From MATTHEW

“And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

1 Corinthians 15:52, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first”

How much clearer can this be?

Immediately following the breaking of the SIXTH SEAL they gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of he sky to the other!

Now, we go to the Book of Revelation for confirmation.

 

During and immediately after breaking THE SIXTH SEAL from REVELATION, we read in Revelation 7:9 -17  “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.“Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?”

“I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. “For this reason, they are before
the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. “They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

The Church has been removed from the earth.  The RAPTURE has occurred
immediately before the sounding of the FIRST TRUMPET JUDGMENT.

 

The Gathering of His Elect – A review

Jesus finished breaking the first Six Seals of the Book of Revelation by sealing the 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel.

Then, a great multitude, which on one could count, from every nation and ALL TRIBES and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the LAMB, clothed in white robes, saying “SALVATION”!

Although the events recorded in the book of Revelation are not always in chronological order, chapters five, six and seven of Revelation (the breaking of the seals) appear to be in order.

Jesus’ description of the coming tribulation in the book of Matthew matches both description and order with John’s description of these same events contained in the book of Revelation.

We see Jesus gathering His elect at the sound of the trumpet (Matthew 24:31) and the “gathering of a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb” as the same event?

This would mean that the church, (that is, Christians), may experience some extremely difficult times before the day of The Wrath of the Lamb and the Rapture of His church. Compare the troubles of the first six seals compared to the last seal, the seven bowls and the seven trumpets of judgment. Remembering that the Wrath of the Lamb will be a time of trouble such as the world has never seen before and never will see again.

So, even though a period of “distress” or “tribulation” begins with the breaking of the first seal of Revelation “intense trouble” or the Great Tribulation or The Wrath of the Lamb a series of events involving those who have been saved throughout the ages, begins with the breaking of the sixth seal as recorded in Revelation chapter seven, verse one. The angels hold back the four winds of the earth (an interlude for a series of events on earth and the tightening of the grip of travail upon the earth.

Jesus then uses the example of Noah to explain that Christians must prepare for His Return.

 

Interlude – Time Markers – Instruction.
Matthew 24:32-36.
NOTE: Here is a ‘recap’ of the series of events and warning so far and another ‘time line marker’ in Matthew 24:32. “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; verse 33.  so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Verse 34. “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
Verse 35. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
Verse 36. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
Verse 37. “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.
Verse 38. “For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
verse 39. and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

A simple ‘face value’ reading of these verses tell us all we need to know.
· The time of His return is near;
· His Words are enduring and unchanging;
· No one knows the exact day or hour of His return.
· It is time to prepare the storehouse, and enter our ARK for the day of our salvation draws near.

So where do we go from here?Except for a cursory reference, I have deliberately avoided relating current world events to the prophecies narrated by Jesus of Matthew 24 and those from the book of Revelation.

I am leaving it up to you, the reader, to look back over the past 100 years and consider what has occurred as related to biblical prophecy. It is up to you to consider the current condition of this world and compare it to prophecy in our day.

The bible says “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.  (Matthew 24:32).

Daily, newscasts, newspapers, television, magazines, the internet and every from of media is telling us of the deteriorating condition of our world. If we are not at “the end” of this age, we are in dire circumstances. At any rate, IT
IS TIME TO GET READY for what is upon us.

Finally, this presentation is a capsulated and condensed version of Jesus’ narration of The End of the Age in response to the disciples question “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?“

It is possible to go much deeper and broader in this study. If that is your desire there are plenty of materials available.
In fact, as we establish bible study groups that may well be one of our studies. But, for now, it is time to prepare.

So, where do I go from here?Matthew 24:32, “For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will. Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time?”  Our time on this earth is limited and temporary.  We must survive and serve while we await His return when He will gather us, His Elect, from the four corners of the earth, and take us to our eternal home.

Prepare the Storehouse Of the Saints.
Come Together in Community.

Continue Making Disciples.
Find and connect with others Christians.
Plan and coordinate with family.
Organize “readiness” training classes.
Organize Action groups.
Organize service groups.
Store temporary food stuffs.
Build temporary currency reserves.
Store medical supplies.
Store water reserves.
Coordinate Bible Study Groups.
Coordinate Prayer Groups.
Commission Deacons and Ministers.
Designate Home Church sites.
Plan Worship Times and places.
Organize evangelistic meetings.
Send local missionaries.

THE DRAGON, THE BEASTS AND THE LAMB – When will this occur and why should I care?

Knowing the identity of “the Dragon, the Beast which comes out of the sea and the Beast which comes out of the earth” will help you understand (1) the chronology of End Times events, (2) The ferocity of the Last Days Judgments (3) How to prepare (4) The timing of the Rapture (5) The timing of the Mark of the Beast (666), without which, no one will be able to buy or sell.

Please, understand, that Bible prophecy has been 100% accurate to this point in history.  It is 100% certain that what the Bible teaches is yet to come, will happen.  Read, learn and prepare.

Scriptures teach, in Matthew 24: 31, “Jesus will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other”, that is, those who’s names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, from Revelation 13:8, tells us that “only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life” will enter into the new heaven, the New Jerusalem. And, Revelation 21:27, says that, “nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. 

It would then appear that those who are left behind may have one more chance at redemption, but many will die and suffer greatly in the Great Tribulation through the sounding of the 6th Trumpet.  There will be cosmic disturbances, astroids will crash into the earth and the earth is set ablaze. The seas and rivers will be contaminated and polluted so that many will die. The sun and the moon are darkened and fierce creatrues will come out of the great bottomless pit to torment and hurt many.

If a person dies during this time without having found redemption, they will be lost forever in the outter darkness and then cast into the lake of fire.

Finally, after the sounding of the 6th Trumpet, God will pour out His final wrath, and no one will be saved from the eternal death, therafter.

Know what is coming and get ready.

I am trying to find a balance between keeping this short and simple enough to read and understand, yet comprehensive enough to give full disclosure of the important points.  Still, to some, this will be a long read, but, I pray that it will be well worth your time.

I will start in Revelation 13, introducing the DRAGON, THE BEAST FROM THE SEA AND THE BEAST FROM THE EARTH.  Then, I will give a chronology of the Bible, leading up to Revelation 13, and to the end of the Book of The Revelation, to help frame the timing of these events.

THE DRAGON (Satan)

Revelation 13:1 

  1. “And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore.

 

 

 THE FIRST BEAST (The Anti-Christ)

Revelation 13

  1. Verse 1. “… Then I saw a beast
  2. coming up out of the sea,
  3. having ten horns and seven heads, and
  4. on his horns were ten diadems, and
  5. on his heads were blasphemous names.
  6. Verse 2. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and
  7. his feet were like those of a bear, and
  8. his mouth like the mouth of a lion.
    1. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority.
  9. Verse 3. I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed.
  10. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast;
  11. Verse 4.they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast;
  12. and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?”
  13. Verse 5. There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and
  14. authority to act for forty-two months(3.5 years) was given to him.
  15. Verse 6. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
  16. Verse 7.It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and
  17. authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him.
  18. Verse 8.All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.
  19. Verse 9.If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints.

 

THE SECOND BEAST (The False Prophet)

Revelation 13:11

  1. Verse 11.  Then I saw another beast
  2. coming up out of the earth; and
  3. he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.
  4. Verse 12. He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And
  5. he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.
  6. Verse 13. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men.
  7. Verse 14. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast,
  8. telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who *had the wound of the sword and has come to life.
  9. Verse 15. And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
  10. Verse 16. And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,
  11. Verse 17.and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.
  12. Verse 18. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

WHEN DOES THIS OCCUR?

You can see when the Beasts of Revelation appear and when the “Mark of The Beast” is given, by following this chronological outline of the Book of The Revelation:

We will start with THE TRIBULATION SEALS: “The SCROLL OF THE SEALS”, found in Revelation 5:1, which represents “that which has been hidden and is now being revealed”.

Revelation:  (The Greek word, “apokalupsis”):  an uncovering.

Transliteration: apokalupsis.
Phonetic Spelling: ap-ok-al’-oop-sis.
Definition: an uncovering.
Usage: an unveiling, uncovering, revealing, revelation.

apokálypsis – “revelation, unveiling” – is principally used of the revelation of Jesus Christ (the Word), especially a particular spiritual manifestation of Christ (His will) previously unknown to this extent, because it has been “veiled and covered”.

THE SEALS of THE SCROLL:  Revelation chapters 6, 7, 8:1

SEALS, 1 through 4, have been successively and progressively open (revealed) since around AD 1 through the current day. It appears that the fifth SEAL is now in the process of being opened.  The sixth seal is too opened at a future date, which appears to be in the not-distant-future.

1st Seal – Rider on the White Horse (continuously since AD 1)

2nd Seal – War (continuously since AD 1)

3rd Seal – Famine (continuously since AD 1)

4th Seal – Death (continuously since AD 1)

5th Seal – Martyrs (progressively occurring now)

6th Seal – Terror, Cosmic disturbances (Yet to come, soon)

      • The Interlude
      • The sealing of the 144,000
      • The Multitude from the Tribulation in Heaven (The Rapture)

7th Seal – Silence in Heaven for ‘half an hour’.

THE TRUMPETS: Revelation chapter 8:1 – chapter 9

1st Trumpet – hail and fire, mixed with blood  –  a third of the earth was burned

2nd Trumpet – something like a great mountain burning – a third of the sea became blood;  and a third of the creatures died; a third of the ships destroyed.

3rd Trumpet – a great star called Wormwood fell from heaven, fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters; a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

4th Trumpet – a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened, and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way.

5th Trumpet – The Bottomless Pit a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key of the bottomless pit was given to him. He opened the bottomless pit; smoke, of a great furnace; the sun, the air were darkened; came locusts, and they hurt only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

Revelation 9:12  “The first woe is past; behold, two woes are still coming after these things.”

NOTE:  The Scroll Seals, 1 through 5, mark the ‘days of distress’ leading up to the beginning of the 7-year Great Tribulation (also known as “Daniel’s Seventieth Week”).

The 7 years of Great Tribulation (Daniel’s 70th Week) begins with the opening of the 6th Tribulation Seal and will reach the halfway mark, 3.5 years, at the sounding of the 6th Trumpet.  

The “first woe” is complete at the end of the 5th Trumpet, and, just before the sounding of the 6th trumpet.

The second half (3.5 years) of the 7 years of the Great Tribulation will begin with the pouring out of God’s Wrath on earth (the bowl judgments).

6th Trumpet – The Army from the East

      • The Angel and the Little Book
      • The Two Witnesses

Revelation 9:20 says, “The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; verse 21. And they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.”

Revelation 11:14  The second woe is past; behold, the third woe is coming quickly.  

*The Second Woe comes and ends with the sounding of the 6th Trumpet (Revelation 11:14).

The 7th Trumpet marks the beginning of the second half of the 7 years of Great Tribulation and the beginning of the Third Woe.  Christ’s Reign Foreseen

DIVIDED CHURCH AHEAD?

Whether it is money, status, position in the Church, religious hierarchies, pastoral preferences or personal biases, there are factions that exist in our churches, and they are fatally dividing the Body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:10, says, “Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment. Verse 11.  For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren, by Chloe’s people, that there are quarrels among you.”

1st & 2nd Corinthians: Some “Not-so-Key points”:

(1) Things were not going so well for the (New Testament) Church in Corinth

(2) It seemed like the people in the Corinthian Church had rejected the Apostle Paul’s teachings and had rebelled against Paul’s authority

(3) Paul had to make a “painful visit” to the Church in Corinth. After his visit, Paul wrote the Church in Corinth another letter with “great anguish and tears”

*As a result, the Church at Corinth wanted to reconcile with Paul.

*Paul then wrote another letter, we know as Second Corinthians, to express his love and commitment to the Corinthian Church

*The Church in Corinth repented of their arrogance (sins), and reconciled with Paul

NOTE:  Corinth was known for its excessive moral decay. The word “Corinthian” was used by the Romans for someone who was immoral and excessive in that immorality.

The shipping trade made many people rich. But there were many more poor people in the city. There was a chasm between the two groups. These people did not socialize with one another.

The people in the Church at Corinth reflected the city and society in which they live. They practiced worldliness of the excesses of wealth, selfishness, arrogance, moral depravity and rebellion against authority.

The people could not or would not detach themselves from the world they lived in, and they were having problems shaking off the ways they lived before they were introduced to Jesus Christ. And, they were bringing the world into the church.

The church at Corinth was racked with divisions. The factions were a reflection of the different beliefs and backgrounds the people had before becoming Christians. The Bible speaks frankly about divisions within the church.

It is not much different from the Church of today.

Whether it is money, status inside and outside the Church, religious hierarchies, pastoral preferences, personal bias, there are factions that exist in most churches in America today, and they are dividing the Body of Christ.

Reconciling the Church

(1) Paul begins to approach these problems in 1 Corinthians – this problem of sinfulness – with a greeting to “the church of God that is in Corinth,” in which he offers thanks for the faith and strength of the Corinthian church (1 Corinthians 1:2).

(2) Next, he immediately begins to list and address the problems that plague that church.

The first problem, to which he devotes almost four chapters, concerns factionalism within the church.

(2a) Paul stresses that each preacher of the Gospel is merely a servant of Jesus, and that all believers should be united in Jesus. The faithful should put aside their differences and remember that “all things are yours. . . . You belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God” (1 Corinthians 3:23).

(2b) The place of the preacher is not to establish themselves as leaders among men; instead, “people should think of us as servants of Christ” (1 Corinthians 4:1).

(3) Paul speaks of the regulation of spiritual gifts in the church of believers. There are many instances in the Corinthian church of people prophesying and speaking in tongues.

These spiritual gifts are important because they help to strengthen the community. All Spiritual Gifts, and all believers, are indispensable to the church.

But Paul prioritizes prophecy, with its clarity of message, over speaking in tongues, which is generally indecipherable and therefore cannot provide instruction to the community.

(4) He charges us to “keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love” (1 Corinthians 16:13–14).

All of this is only possible if we understand and stay focused on our role and responsibilities as Servants of Christ & Stewards of the mysteries of God.

God’s model, God’s remedy, for the divided Church is that

  • You – as “living stones” – are being built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, and
  • you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession,
  • So that you will proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light

Our Lord is calling us to GET BACK ON MISSION – “No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:4

The time is short, and the workers are few, indeed.

THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

There is a saying, a proverb, in the book of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, which goes like this:

“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.

“Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone?

“And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.”

TYRANNY, MARXISM, ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT

 The ancient wisdom of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 is as true today as when it was written, and is becoming increasingly necessary if we are to resist the evil and darkness of Marxism spreading across the world, we must unite.

We have read the news stories, during the Obama administration, when factions of the FBI rounded up what they called “insurgency groups” or “white extremist groups”, arrested and charged them for sedition or as terrorist cells. These so-called ‘dangerous’ groups were usually men in their advanced years who, while drinking coffee at a local coffee shop, were overheard griping about government overreach and what they wish could be done about it. Obama’s ‘brown shirt Socialists’ were creating political a shock wave, creating fear and paranoia, silencing any dissent and free speech and sending a message to the masses:  “Comply with our agenda or pay the consequences”.

Then there was the ‘weaponizing of the IRS’ and of other government agencies to intimidate and deprive conservative and Christian groups and individuals of their rights. Again, a clear message that we, Socialists and Marxists (under the guise of the American Democrat Party), will not tolerate dissent.  (NOTE:  Coincidentally, the Biden Marxist-Democrat party’s  $3.5 trillion spending plan, contains a provision to spend $80 BILLION of your tax dollars to hire 87,000 new IRS agents to come after your money.)

How are they getting away with this blatantly un-American and illegal activity? They pick us off, one by one. We are not united, we are not organized, and our elected ‘conservative leadership’ is, by their actions, either ineffective, bumbling fools or are complicit with the Socialist-Marxist-Globalists.

WHAT ARE WE TO DO?

We thought the Tea Party movement which was formed 2008 was going to be our  ‘grassroots’ answer to the spreading virus of Socialism. The Tea Party began inside the Republican Party and, tragically, was quickly absorbed by Republican Machinery. Many of the Tea Party leaders became intoxicated with political aspirations and joined the duplicity of the Republican Party, becoming an ineffective, squabbling herd of wannabes.

A quick footnote to mention that Donald Trump was an effective leader, a conservative and a friend of Israel, of Christians and of all Conservatives. Both political parties and the corrupt FBI turned on him with vicious lies, attacks on his personal businesses and family with outrageous and illegal political deceit.  The welfare of America was jeopardized by the corruption which emerged in our legal and political systems, all designed to destroy Donald Trump and his presidency.

This has a chilling effect for anyone who might consider a run for president as a conservative, unless he or she is a Marxist collaborator, the likes of George Bush, Mitt Romney or John McCain.

IS ANYONE OUT THERE?

There are scores of political action groups you can join. But, they are being largely ineffective. Their plan is to win at the ballot box, but, we have seen that process thoroughly compromised and corrupted in the last presidential election – and no one was charged with a crime. So, why bother with PACs?

You can find “Patriot Groups” and “Conservative Militia Groups”, but, from what I can tell, they are mostly just bluster.

There are many conservative broadcasters using non-traditional means (internet, podcasts, etc.) to get their message out and to influence, but, it is mostly just talk.

ONE LAST NOTE

There was one recent event when hundreds of thousands of Conservatives and American Patriots ‘stormed the halls of congress’. The problem was that the LEFT knew it was about to happen and left the gates open, then co-opted a peaceful demonstration, calling it “a sad and tragic time in our democracy”. They had seeded the demonstration with Democrat-Marxist infiltrators who caused troubles, casting a bad light on an otherwise good intention. Still, a message was sent. A shot had been fired across the bow of the invading Marxist hoards who have illegally taken up residence in our nation’s highest offices. This demonstration seemed to get their attention and put them on notice as to what we could do, if Conservatives acted with a united and single purpose.

Now is the time to step forward and unite in action, as Conservatives. But, there is no leadership. I recognize that I am a lone and unqualified voice, calling out in the wilderness, “Who will lead us?”  But, if we do not act quickly, decisively and will iron clad resolve, we are finished as a Constitutional Republic. In fact, it may already be too late.

Please help. Write a letter to your Congressional Representative and your State Representatives. Ask for help to defeat the LEFT with definitive action.

“Dear ___(Senator or Congressman or Congresswoman)_______,

I am writing you out of great concern for the future of our Nation. It seems to me that the Democrat party and their supporters are increasingly made up of people who endorse the agenda of Globalists, Marxists, Socialists and Communists, are dissolving our sovereignty, erasing our borders, violating and voiding our constitution, breaking our laws, raiding our treasury, promoting burdensome and onerous taxation and corrupting our society with debauchery and perversions which were unthinkable only a few decades ago. We are losing our freedoms and may have already lost our country and our way of life.

The political system and the ballot box, in our last national election, proved to be ineffective against the corruption, the tyranny and deceit of the LEFT.

We need strong, decisive leadership to fight back against this spreading virus of Marxism. We need men and women who, like our founders, are willing to say, “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” (From the Declaration of Independence – click the blue text)

I am confident that here are hundreds of millions of American who will act in concert with a call to action by Conservative Leadership in our cause to save America. I am one of those.
